Love the shoes for Zumba. Feels so much better on the knees! Ordered a half-size larger than normal and had to send them back to get one whole size larger.

Great shoes for Zumba on carpet. Slides easily. The cushion allows you to move forward onto the balls of your feet and toes, relieving stress on you heels. Order one size up.

Love this shoe for Zumba!!! It does come small so I would recommend ordering a half size to a whole size larger. They do not have much arch support but for what I use them for, it doesn't seem to be a problem for me. Love that they have grip when I need them and a little slide when I need that.

I love these shoes and the way they look but they do run small so I am returning and ordering 1/2 size up.

Love them. They don't look very girls though. They have a widening by ankles.

These are the best dance shoes that I have ever found. There is no joint-pulling drag on lateral moves and spins are seamlessly smooth. Follow the recommendations and order at least a full size larger than usual. I wear a 7 and the 8 fits perfectly. The are completely comfortable on the very first wearing. There is no break-in period at all. They are very light-weight with good support. I got them fast and I am completely satisfied with my purchase.

Great shoes for dance games! I bought these shoes to use when I work out to Dance Central. I do notice an improvement doing certain twisting and shuffling moves. I'd prefer to use them on hardwood, but I've been using a sisal rug out of courtesy to my downstairs neighbor. The spot on the ball of foot is definitely slippery, and the first time I tried them I did slip a bit a couple times while dancing, but the grippier areas around that spot kept me from falling or otherwise injuring myself. I think I'll feel steadier in my footing the more I get used to the shoes. I even plan to buy a pair in another color. (I have the black ones.) As for fit, my feet are on the wide side of medium and I tend to wear an 8 or 8.5. I bought these in a 9.5 and they fit almost perfectly. They could be a little wider in the forefoot, but nothing loosening the laces couldn't help. I have high arches and I'd say they could use more support, but I haven't yet felt the need to add an insole.

Bought these half a size larger. Normally wear 7.5 to 8and bought these in 8.5 based on what reviewers said. Though perfect until I spent 3.5 hours contra dancing. The tips of my toes felt bruised at the end which tells me I bought them a half size too small. Since I wore them, I feel I can't return them and will use them for jazzercise or rumba. Those are only an hour long sessions and they should be fine. Maybe after breaking them in they won't kill my toe. Conclusion buy bigger than you think. They are great for turns and twists, soles slide and were not too slippery for me.

I got these shoes for dance cardio classes at the gym, "Zumba" and "Groove." I was wearing cross training athletic shoes but found they restricted my side to side movement, turns and twists of the feet and even a couple of times twisted my knee slightly. These shoes have solved that problem and I feel like I can move easier on the wood floor. I tried 3 other Bloch styles settling on these because of the look and they were the least expensive. The other ones I sort of liked were the Bloch Boost. The Bloch Lightening II, I really liked all the colors but the "spin spot" was a little to slick. These, the Bloch Lightening, has a similar sole but the spin spot is smaller and the material is slightly different making it slick but not too slick...at least for the floor at my gym. I do believe as others that Bloch runs small but in my case it was only 1/2 size and not whole size as some people indicate. Also they are a little on the narrow side.

Perfect for my wide feet. I am a size 5 wide shoe but usually a 6 in sneakers. I find that 6.5 is perfect to fit a cushioned moisture wicking sock inside. That gives it perfect shock absorption for high intensity Zumba. The pivot point makes pivoting easy on my knees and I find that tight lacing makes everything pretty stable.

Best Zumba shoes that I've worn. I'm a Zumba fanatic, go 5 times a week but have short, wide feet. It has been a challenge to find shoes that fit that are appropriate for Zumba. These definitely run small. I usually wear a 6 in athletic shoes so ordered a 6.5 but it was too short and narrow. My big toe was right up against the top. Sent them back and got a 7 which fits fairly well. Initially it was snug in the width but after a couple wearings, fits fine. Best is that it is lightweight, easy to turn quickly without sticking, but also supports the side to side movements without slipping. My knees and feet do not ache or hurt now! I got another pair and have sold others in my class on Blochs. And Zappos got them to me so quickly, even way out here in Hawaii.

This shoe is light as air. You can hardly feel it on your foot, and it is good for carrying around in a backpack or dance bag. It keeps your foot cool when you are dancing. The only thing I don't like about it is the way the sole extends a little beyond the heel, but that is just a style issue. I have worn Bloch ballet shoes before and these are the same high quality.

I was in the market for some new Zumba shoes with more support than the last pair I had. After reading reviews, I ordered the Bloch Lightening. I usually wear a size 8, so ordered a size up 9 as other reviewers suggested. The structure of the shoe is sturdier than the Zumba brand shoe. The width in the ball and heel are good, and the support (especially in the heel)is decent. The smooth sole makes it very easy to turn and slide. The hard plastic spot on the ball did take a bit of getting used to, but it's fine now. However, the toe box seems narrow on my foot, and the leather strip on the top doesn't give, so they feel too short at the big toe. After wearing them for about 4 weeks, I am still dancing in them 4 days a week with the hope the toe area will give a bit more with wear.

I use these shoes for Jazzercise. I can move easier now wearing these than I did in my Nike move fit shoes. The floor is rubber and they are perfect for aerobic movement. The arch support was hard to get used to in the beginning, but after wearing them a few times, they are really comfortable. I recommend these for any type of dance.

I bought these because I needed them for Zumba. I love the way the sole helps me move but they run a bit too small. This also was more of an issue for me because I need to wear orthotics. I am going to get the next pair a whole size bigger, i.e. 8.5 when I would normally get 7 or 7.5. Cute shoe.

These are cool looking shoes. I have not used them yet except for walking around the house to feel the fit. They were the narrowest of the several shoes that I ordered, which proved the best fit for me. I would say the sizing is smilar to my Nike and Ascic shoes, but with a lot less wiggle room.

I love the shoe style and color. I bought these specifically for zumba and they are great. I had previously purchased running shoes and those are not the best for zumba.

I have only used these shoes a few times but they are so much better for Zumba than my usual crosstrainers. I can pivot more easily, in fact I have to get used to them being more easy. They do run small. I normally wear size 6 AA (my feet are quite narrow). However, the size 6 1/2 medium fit me and were not wide for me at all. So if you have wide feet, you might need to go up a size or more. I have given 4 for comfort as I feel there is inadequate arch support. I am in the process of putting in some support. I love the look and I would definitely recommend these for Zumba but you may need to add arch support.

I got these shoes for Zumba in hopes of less stress on the knees when twisting, etc. They totally fit that purpose, the smooth plastic part on the bottom at the ball of the foot makes them turn without sticking, yet they are not too slippery on the wood floor. they are very comfortable, too, the most comfortable of the 3 brands I tried. They do run a little on the small side, probably a half-size.

These shoes are so cute, but they run VERY small, and they're narrow. I usually wear a 9, ordered a 9.5, and have to return them for a 10. Order at least a size up. If you have wide feet, you'll probably be happier with another shoe.

I took a chance. They had me sold with the sole of this shoe. I really wanted it to work. I am a size 10 so there was no " order bigger" option for me. Unfortunately, back they go.

I ordered a full size up from my normal size -- it's still too small. The big issue is the height and width of the shoe over the big toe joint. There just isn't enough room. I really want to like these shoes because they have the right amount of tread for Zumba, but I'm afraid they just aren't going to fit made. If I go up another half size, I'm afraid they're going to be too long.

I usually wear a size 8.5 in most shoes; size 9 in Clarks. After reading reviews, I purchased size 9.5, still very tight, I am returning to try a size 10. I am anxious to find shoes that move well on carpet for Zumba exercise, and will provide feedback on the size 10 shoes, once they arrive. My advice: buy at least one size larger than you usually wear or you will be returning these.

Item is too small. Sales person with online chat suggested I try it. I have already reordered a full size larger. Hope it works. Like the looks of the shoe.

I heard such great things about these from reviews, and was looking for a great pair of shoes for Zumba and my Latin dance exercise class, but wasn't very excited when I got them. They do run at least 1/2 too small (I never have that issue), but unfortunately, they only make them up to size 10, so I had to return them. I'm not sure how much I would have liked them anyway- there's no cushion on the balls of the feet, and that's really important to me for Zumba and latin dancing. Guess I'll have to go back to running shoes and stick to the floor when turning...
