Fantastic shoe. All the styles of this shoe run differently. I ordered the purple and it fits smaller than this color! Makes buying very difficult! That aside, if I can find the color (not sure about this one)I'd be happy. Been wearing Vibrams and New Balance for a couple years. Want something I can wear on a harder surface. These will work nicely. They seem to have the same support (if one could say that for a minimalist shoe) as NB but are far more comfy and suited well for a wider foot.

This is my first Vivobarefoot purchase, and I'm hooked! I brought these shoes with me to Nicaragua for my missionary work. Lots of walking over uneven terrain, rocks, glass, random things on the roads...and for miles! I took these babies or for an 8 mile trail and my feet felt great! I normally by wide shoes but my feet don't feel squished in these shoes as it molds to your foot. Excellent purchase! Worth the price so far in comparison to the other brand of barefoot I've bought in the past.

Very comfy but runs small. Won't be wearing it as runner as I need more support but it looks good with jeans and shorts. Bought the crimson one and it is beautifully and well made.

In regular shoes, I wear a size 7.5. I wear a size 8 in Merrell Barefoot Arcs and after reading many reviews on the Vivobarefoot Breatho, I went with a 39. The fit was perfect. LOVE the colors and the sturdy under sole. I do lots of rough road trail running and they were great. The only problem I had with this shoe is that the material started to pull away from the seam on the top after I wore it for only a few miles. The mesh just could not keep up with me, I guess. Big bummer. I sent them back and I might give them another chance later but not any time soon.

I love these shoes -- they're slim, comfortable and can be adjusted for any foot width. The low cut on the side, flexibility and protective sole make them perfect for me in terms of comfort -- I have pins in one of my feet from an old injury so have very specific requirements. I can wear them with with my orthotics on concrete, but on trails/natural surfaces they feel amazing without them -- like a massage for my feet. That said, the quality is extremely disappointing. The seam between the toe box and the top of the shoe came open on my first pair after two months. Zappos was nice enough to replace them, but the replacement pair seemed to be even lower quality. The new pair are made in China (the old were not) and feel cheaper and just not as soft inside. In addition, the insole lining started to come apart near the toes after wearing them no more than 3 times. I've decided to keep them anyway because I have a hard time finding shoes that meet all my requirements, but I'm not sure if I would if I had 'normal' feet.

These are great trail running shoes! I wanted a minimalist shoe with a nice tread on them since I typically run on very rocky trails. These work out great! I typically wear them barefoot, but you could also wear them with thin socks. I love these shoes and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a good minimalist trail running shoe.

They look cute, and I really want to give "barefoot" shoes a try. Just beware that these run super small- I'm normally an 8, and they're way too short - going to have to exchange them for an 8.5.

These shoes are really comfy but I think they are a half size too small. I love barefoot shoes for running but havent found one that is good for rocks and trails until now.

Very minimal but that is what I was looking for! I bought these with the idea of moving toward more minimalist shoes and strengthening my feet. If you want support these are NOT for you. I wear these often with jeans for running errands, etc.

Get ready for comfort! And style. I had never heard of this brand prior to finding them on Zappos. I decided to give them a try. I wanted a comfortable and stylish shoe option that could wear without socks. These fit the bill perfectly. Not even stinky yet.

Terrific shoe. Lightweight, stable barefoot experience, great traction, and nice width in the toebox to allow for good movement. Fit is analogous to inov8 and is a great shoe for crossfitters, cross country runners, or multi-function athletes. I normally wear a 39, but I bought the 40 to allow for swelling and do not regret it one bit. Great all-around shoe and super cute.

Extremely comfortable shoes. I wore these through hiking and adventures in Costa Rica and they dried quickly and never rubbed and did not give me blisters. These are the best shoes I got in a long time. I even have worn them to walk the dog.

These are very comfortable. The padding around the ankle is also very nice. They are great for standing and walking (some shoes are only good for one or the other).

I bought these Breatho Trail shoes because they're easy to pack for working out when traveling. I don't do barefoot running. Although I wear a 41 in Dansko clogs and Josef Seibel, I need a 42 in the Breatho Trail shoe for length. My choice came down to the Vivobarefoot Breatho Trail L in 42, the Merrell Barefoot Pace Glove in 11 Wide (10 was too short), and the New Balance WT20v2 in 10 Wide. I have a high instep and bursitis in one heel, and I pronate. The footbed in the Breatho Trail is wider than that of the Pace Glove, especially at the arch. The Pace Glove has an elastic inset that forms part of the back of the shoe, and it hits me in the area that has bursitis. I felt the seams or something under my arch in the New Balance WT20v2. Overall the Breatho Trail feels the best for me. Note that both the Breatho Trail and Pace Glove have horizontal elastic straps in the tongue; the insets in the Breatho Trail are encased in the tongue fabric and not visible. In the correct shoes sizes, I feel the elastic working but it doesn't pinch the top of my foot. (That's actually more than I can say for my newest Danskos; I hope they stretch over time.)

I've had these shoes for about two or three weeks, and they've been pretty good so far. They're light and comfortable, and have good tread for trail running. They're a little narrow; I'm a 7 1/2, and ordered an 8, which is just wide enough for my foot. Some folks should be aware that these have little-to-no arch support. If you want a barefoot shoe with a bit more, I've tried on the Merrell gloves, which seem to have a higher arch, at the least---and which are also broader.

I love these shoes! I ordered one size smaller than my Vibram Five Fingers and they fit great. I wore them at our last Spartan race up and a down muddy and wet mountain and they held to the ground like champs! My husband has them too and he agrees they are the best trail shoe! They are still a minimalist shoe though, so if you've never worn minimalist shoes, take your time getting used to these babies, don't go run a 5k the first time you slip these on.

This is my first zero drop shoe, and my feet couldn't be happier. My ITB is also thankful for them. The traction is great in wet and mud, but I don't find it annoying on smooth, harder surfaces, either. Just be sure to double tie the laces. I also have the Neo Trail model. Although not quite as flexible as the Breathos, they are better for cold and wet.

This is a unique shoe. The sole gives my foot protection and at the same time lets me have some sensation of the surface I am walking on. I learned that if I walk long distances in these shoes, I need to take shorter steps and not land hard on my heel. I am used to wearing traditional running shoes which have a lot of arch support and heel cushioning. These shoes are very sturdy, yet flexible and breathable.

Great looking shoe, but the B width is too narrow for my foot. I had to return it.

I was looking for vegetarian-friendly shoes, and my search led me to Zappos. The variety of products is amazing, which is not always the case with vegan apparel. The purchase process was extremely easy, so my new shoes were on order within a few minutes. To my delight, they arrived ahead of schedule. Zappos will be my new source for shoe shopping. The product quality and customer service are excellent.

Love these shoes! They are the most comfortable shoes I own. No break in time, but my feet did get a bit sore on the first long walks I took in these. I think because I was using muscles in my feet that I hadn't used in regular shoes. Now I don't want to take them off and can't imagine wearing regular athletic shoes for hiking or walking.

The upper on this show was so comfortable but the sole felt like I was wearing cleats! This would've been fine out doors but even on carpet walking felt ridiculous. Granted, it's a shoe designed for trail running...so it may be perfect for that...but I just wanted barefoot sneakers. I'm not a runner. It's a shame they don't offer this construction and breathability on the evo/neo/Lucy sole.

Love. This. Shoe. I'm not a runner but only wear barefoot style shoes now after a multitude of ankle and foot injuries and issues. These blow Merrells away in comfort, style, and fit. They're light, wide, and a perfect fit right out of the box! Highly recommended.
