This is a fantastic toaster for the most part. The options are great, but it takes a while to toast which makes the toast drier than we'd like.

This is a fun gadget and an OK toaster. The beep is unnecessarily loud, but when you have a teapot or coffee pot running at the same time, or if you're in a separate room, it comes in handy. The automatic elevator is cool, I've never had toast fly out of a spring-loaded toaster before, but according to some reviews this is quite common. My major issue with it, and the reason it doesn't get 5 stars, is because of the toasting capabilities. The toast never comes out perfectly browned. The top of the right hand side will be almost burnt, and the bottom will still be "bready". The left hand side toasts more consistently. I guess the hassle of returning it was greater than the inconvenience of marginally poor toast.

We like the KM423 4 slice Toaster. However, to date it does not toast both sides of the bread evenly. In fact we sent a toasted slice of bread to the manufacturer along with the infor sheet they ask you to register your purchase with. Haven't received any reply yet.

I love this toaster. Love everything about it. The beep is great, not too loud. It is beautiful. So very pleased with it and with Zappos' service.

Love, love, love the toaster. I have has a lot of toasters, but this one works for both me and my husband. You can toast anything in it. Best of all you can set the setting for you and toast comes out the same all of the time. Bonus it looks great on the counter!

I just bought this for a replacement of one just like it that I had for about two years. No toaster anymore seems to be as good as the "old days" but this one lasted longer than any other I've bought. I noticed in this new one that instead of three beeps when it is done this one just has one beep. I know some have said here and on other sites that the beeps are loud or annoying but I like it because I can go around doing stuff and not have to stand by the toaster. I also like the count down feature. This one doesn't seem to take as long as the old one either but the same results. Most of all I like the LCD display because I am visually impaired and have a really hard time seeing the dials that are on most toasters.

Toaster works great. The countdown feature is helpful to let you know about how much longer it will be until the cycle is finished. Toasting is consistent from one cycle to the next.

Great toaster! It's big but not too big, it fits nicely on my counter. I love that I can just push a button and my bread slowly lowers. It's also the same when it's done, it beeps and slowly my bread appears! It's very easy to use.

This is an absolutely great toaster. Everything about it is excellent. The quality of toast, the defrost mode, the numbering system, etc. One interesting thing however is the time it takes to toast. We were not used to waiting like now, but it's worth it. One thing you have to consider is the amount of space it takes up on your counter if you leave it out. It had a latge footprint. One other minor problem is that "bagel thins" are so thin that they can get in between the lifter and the side. You really need to make sure the thins are in the center of the opening. If you buy one I hope you enjoy it. We do!

Love it...first toaster I have purchased that is consistent, looks great, quiet and worth the money.

We love our new toaster. It's beautifully designed, well made & it's variety of features make it a great addition to our kitchen. The only con we can identify is that it doesn't toast evenly. This isn't a terrible bother for us, but for toast purists, this may be a problem.

This toaster is a lemon. One side will not let the bread come back up after toasting and the other side toasts one side of the bread and not the other. I cannot get it replaced because I won this toaster and dont have a receipt. I would not recommend this to anyone.
