Super cute boot. Very comfortable. Awesome with jeans. I have medium to large ankles and they fit snug but not uncomfortably so. If you have large ankles, these might not work, but lucky you if they do.

These are the best boots I've ever had. Initially, I thought my foot wasn't going in but when it did, the fit was perfect, like these were made just for me. I love the high arch support and hope Dansko makes all kinds of shoes and they may be the only brand I'll buy from now on!

These boots are very stylish and comfortable. They have the high arch typical in Dansko shoes. I'm very pleased with the purchase.

I love love love these boots. I am a teacher and stand/ walk all day and I can wear these with no problem. In fact the other night I wore them all day at work, then out dancing that evening with no foot pain! I have plantar fasciitis and can not wear shoes without arch support, which makes these even more fantastic. They are super cute and can be worn with skirts, leggings, skinny jeans, trousers, anything! I get compliments every time I wear them. I couldn't be happier with this purchase. May be buying them in another color as well!

I absolutely love these boots. They are cute with just enough heel to give some lift without feeling high, and I can wear them all day long while barely noticing that they are on my feet. Granted, I have an office job but I do walk around a fair amount and stand a bit, too. I got the black leather which is a must-have, and will probably get at least one more pair since I wear ankle booths more than half the year.

I absolutely love these! They are so comfortable and so stylish. I get a lot of compliments on them. I have a very high arch and these support my foot so well. I want to wear them every day.

These are amazing boots! They are comfortable from the moment you put them on and look cute with leggings, pants, skirts, everything. So stylish with the expected Dansco comfort.

I love them. I got black, and ordered brown also after wearing the black. I am inclined to step up to a 39 on clogs and boots since clogs need to fit more loosely and I like room to add light socks. But I ordered both a 38 and 39 (and kept the 38) to be sure of a good fit on this dressier boot since I figured I would usually wear then with hose or leggings. If they make another color, I might just order it. I have had foot surgery and am limited to shoes that are really comfortable; these are comfortable and do not look like the Dansko shoe we know and love.

Love everything about these boots...fit, comfort, and style. Works great with all styles of pants, bootcut, straight and skinny. Haven't tried them with a dress/skirt yet but sure would look great. Felt great straight out of the box.

First of all, this is my first pair of Dansko shoes. I was prepared for the worst because I've had such awful luck in finding a lower (2 1/2") black stylish shoe/bootie. Zappos has put up with an embarrassing amount of returns from me lately. I'm so glad I hung in there. You know how the instant you slide your foot in, you just know you've found it? Eureka! This has absolutely everything I've been looking for in this particular style. A few words about Dansko are in order. I have a pet peeve concerning zippers (i.e. cheap and placed on the outside of the shoe). These zippers are YKK and inside so they are not only very sturdy but easily accessible. The leather is soft and pliable and the instep, while hard, was very comfortable for me and fit my arch perfectly. The heel is just wide enough to offer plenty of support without looking boxy. I wear a 6M or 6W depending on the shoe and I ordered the 36. They fit like a dream with a thin sock. Thank you to Zappos! Yes, the price is steep but believe me, they are worth the money.

I absolutely love these boots. They are stylish and comfortable. I wore them to a medical conference and wound up doing a lot walking. My feet remained comfortable the entire trip!

Amazing boots! The fit and comfort of the "Buffy" are by far the best I've ever had on my feet! I work retail and am on my feet a substantial amount of time. Absolutely no issues with these at all (even with a bunion). At 5'3" the heel height is perfect, creating a long, lean leg line. Super comfy foot pad and forefoot. Arch support is excellent. Leather is soft, requiring no break in time. Zipper adds secure fit around the ankle. Extremely stylish boots that look great with jeans and dress pants - very versatile. Thanks to Zappos for superior customer service.

These are so cute, but the first pair I got I had to return as the rigid arch support is completely in the wrong place for me. It is like walking with a big rock in your shoes. I decided to give them another try in a bigger size, but I am disappointed that it did not help much. I am truly sad, because I love the way they look. It is difficult to rate the arch support as "excellent" -- I guess it would be, if they fit right!

My podiatrist told me Dansko's were the next best thing to a custom made shoe insert so I gave them a try and love them. The Buffy is comfortable, stylish and, most importantly, easy on the feet. I have plantar fasciitis and they are incredibly comfortable -- I can walk with no pain.

I looked a long time for the perfect short boots, buying and returning many. these are wonderful. Great arch support. Heels but so comfortable to walk long distances - but not all day uphill, which I did by mistake. Loved them with short skirts and pants.

Wonderful short boot. Very comfortable and well made. Stylish. Looks great with pants. I also got the grey suede and they're both wonderful, all-day/all-night choices.

I absolutely love these boots! They are so comfortable I can walk in them all day when usually my feet start to hurt in a matter of hours any time I wear any kind of heel. I get so many compliments on them too. Very stylish. I am considering getting them in all the colors available!

These are the greatest boots ever! The style is so cool and the leather is soft and comfortable. This is the first pair of boots with a heel that had an arch support that fit my foot and a toe box that doesn't kill. I was a bit concerned about the height of the heel and if I would be able to walk, but I can walk in absolute comfort without my foot getting tired. Dansko, you rock!

These are the most comfortable heels I have ever owned. I have high arches and have difficulty finding supportive shoes that look dressy enough for work. I am on my feet all day and when I get home I don't even feel the need to take these boots off! Well worth the money. Thank you Dansko and Zappos: two great companies.

As soon as they arrived, I put 'em on and hit the ground running. Totally comfortable and that is what I am into. I have a wider foot and these fit just fine. I LOVE MY DANSKO BUFFIES!

Love these boots! very comfortable right out of the box. I have bunions and with the ruching they aren't noticeable.

Very cute boot and comfortable even with walking on concrete. There is a bit of an arch support that feels like a bump but I did not find it uncomfortable. I wore these for a full work day right away and had no problems. In addition, I have tried some of the other higher Danskos with a platform bottom and found them a bit uncomfortable because the sole of the shoe does not flex. But these are great and easy to walk in so I was pleasantly surprised. I hope they make more shoes with these soles because I will buy them all!

These are incredibly comfortable, high quality, and they look awesome! The heel height is fashionable but easy on your feet. They're much cuter on your feet than in the picture, and they look great with every skirt length and every kind of pants. I wish they came in more colors because I'd definitely get more.

Love these! The color (I bought the grey) and the style make these boots incredibly versatile. They are also super comfortable. I have a feeling I am going to wear these to death during fall and winter.
