Love this skirt. So comfortable and great fit. I'm in my fifties and curvy. Other jean skirts made me look funky and chunky, but this one has great shape.

I love the NYD Emma Skirts. I have this color and the white which are the perfect length they hit right to the bottom of my knee cap. I bought the lightwash denim and black and those colors are cut about an inch shorter for some reason and I had to send those back. I hope the black come back cut a little longer because I really need a black skirt.

This is a great skirt. It is made from a soft fabric. It is also a good length, I am 5'5", and it hits right above my knee. Go one size down for best results.

I ordered this skirt in the afternoon on a Wednesday before Christmas and it was at my home on Thursday afternoon. I thought that was impossible. But to talk about the skirt. It is a lightweight denim with spandex which makes the fit perfect. I love it.

I just received my NYDJ Emma skirt and I am thrilled with it! The denim is lightweight, comfortable, and forms to my figure perfectly, without bulges or bumps. I am 5'10" 133# (I have more hips than belly) and a size 6 is perfect--hitting me right at the knee. I will be able to wear this with boots in the winter and sandals in the summer! I love it! I may have to order another one! Thanks for the super quick service Zappos! I ordered the skirt at about 8:15 CST last night and had it in my hands by 10:30 this morning (I live in Missouri BTW)! Crazy!

I'm not a daughter, nor a mother. I'm a late 20-something who needed a great fitting jean skirt. I bought several online with the assumption that if I didn't like the fit, color, cut, etc, I would simply return them. Of the 4 jean skirts that I bought, this is the one that I'm keeping! It flatters my waist and butt. It hits my knees at just the right spot. I would highly recommend trying them. It's worth the price!

Great skirt. Fits well. I usually would have ordered an 8 but from reading reviews it sounded like it runs a hair big, so I ordered a 6 and it was perfect. Comfortable stretch fabric. Plenty long. Hits me right at the knee and I'm 5'10. Just right.

This skirt looks great, has a nice amount of stretch, and is very versatile. I wear it a lot, even though I'm only 27 and don't have a daughter.

Great year round skirt. Perfect length with a lot of 'give' to the material for easy maneuvering and comfort. Nice dark denim. It does stretch out a bit after a few wears but goes right back to original shape with washing. Very happy customer!

I've been looking for a denim skirt and finally found this one. It's longer than most--just below the knee, but that length looks best on me. It's a little big in the waist, but otherwise perfect!

I love all the NYDJ pencil skirts, but this is perfect for the warmer weather because of the lighter weight. Like my other Emma skirts, the fit is very flattering and slimming. I also love the dark denim, it's a little dressier than some of the other lighter blue washes. Friends are always asking where I bought it. Zappos.com is the only place I've been able to find NYDJ skirts. Department stores carry some NYDJ pants, but I've never found them to have the skirts. Thanks, Zappos!

This skirt is darling but runs very large. I am 5'5" and weigh 115 lbs. I was excited to find a woman's skirt in a size zero, but even this was too big.

I love the style of this classic NYDJ denim skirt. The dark denim blue is a perfect color. I don't mind the taper at the bottom. I ordered a 16, which creases across the underpant line for some reason. Maybe the lwaist, which is about 2 inches too big, contributes. I am disappointed to return this skirt.

Great skirt but very generous in size. I ordered one two sizes smaller than what I wear in most skirts. Also stretches out pretty easily.

I really like this skirt. It was great for travel -- the denim is lightweight and it has pockets. I think it runs a bit large, and it would be better if it was just a bit shorter.

Great weight, lovely color and the sizing is correct. The shape of the skirt is not as straight as I would have liked but I think that's more because of the stretch in them. Cute "dress up or down" skirt. Really like it.

I bought this on a whim, and I am so glad I did. It has turned into my go-to outfit this summer. Finally, a skirt that is a little longer but not matronly! Stretch denim means you can size down if in-between sizes. It washes well without losing shape. I'm going to buy another one.

I love this skirt! I always wanted a dark denim pencil skirt as a staple in my wardrobe and this is it. This one is the right length (I'm 5'4" and it hits just below my knee) and is slimming (I ordered two sizes and kept the smaller.) and is super stretchy and very comfortable without losing its real denim look.

This is a great summer skirt to wear with T-shirts. It is fairly lightweight and gives good coverage as it comes to the knee. The fit is slim but not tight or restricting, in fact you can even bend over (decently) in it. I have even mowed the yard in this skirt. Another plus is that the waist actually sits at the waist for those who do not like low cut waistlines. It washes and dries in the dryer and does not show stains. What more could you ask from a skirt?

Such a great skirt, that I plan to purchase a second one. It is very slimming and attractive - love it! The only thing I would change is that the waist is a little too big, but it isn't noticeable since I don't wear my shirts tucked in.

What I love about this skirt is the length, the color,the fabric, the style -- but it is so big in the waist, I will have to return it. I don't think I have a particularly small waist -- I don't have the measurement -- but although the skirt fit nicely elsewhere, there was a gap of several inches at the waist. I am 5'2 and bought a size 2.

My new favorite piece in my wardrobe. I'm a big fan of pencil skirts. I'm in between sizes so I went for the larger one. There's enough stretch in the fabric to allow you to drop down a size. I love the knew length. It's so flattering.
