I absolutely love Converse so when I saw these Converse boots I knew I had to have them. My calves are a bit too big but that just gives me incentive to slim down more.

My 10 year old is now on her second pair, she loves them and wears them into the ground with holes, broken laces, and no traction! They are really cute too. Pay attention to size and for survey.

True to Chucky all stars...these shoes are awesome. I wish I would have ordered one size smaller, as these seem to run a little bigger than the low tops I normally buy. the zippers make these easy on and off. I'm going to buy black laces to make them a bit more streamlined looking as I find the white laces again the black canvas a little too bold. Be prepared to field a lot of comments when you wear these, and plan to smile a lot because these shoes are awesome!

I have loved these shoes for a long time and finally broke down and ordered them. They are awesome. The footbed fits exactly like a normal Chuck Taylor shoe. The upper can be tight at first, but nothing a little adjustment of the laces can't fix. I get so many compliments when I wear them! My only wish is that I could find different colored shoe laces that are long enough to fit them!

These were a birthday present, and I have had them for almost a year. They have very little wear on them(a few minor tears here and there, but I am ROUGH on shoes), and still fit perfectly! I can wear them EVERYWHERE and trust that I will be comfortable. It's the first thing people notice about me, and I always wear them out. These shoes are nice for any calve size because of the fact that you can lace to to fit your body and liking. Luckily, the do have a zipper, so I am not lacing them all the time. If you are looking for a pair of shoes that are different, comfortable, and stylish, these are them! They work for both men and woman, and I look forward to having them for years to come!

As an extremely trendy trendy uber trendy hipster. I like shoes that will make the girl's hips stir. These high boots were made for walking, and that's just what they'll do. Maybe even one day these boots will walk all over you. ;) I got so many dudes with these shoes... And even a few girls.

I ordered these for my granddaughter, and she just loves them! I originally ended up ordering the wrong size, Zappos was extremely helpful and shipped the correct size overnight and sent me a free shipping label to return the wrong sized ones back. The customer service I received was the best, and the shoes are wonderful! Zappos is the place to shop!

I am a boy and I love these knee high converse in charcoal. These are very stylish and are extremely comfortable. I personally like wearing them with dark blue skinny jeans and black metallic leggings tucked into them.

The shoes are for my daughter, who absolutely loves them. She wears them to school every day! The size is accurate, they were shipped in a timely manner and they were just as described! The price was great too (on sale).

I love my XX Hi boots! The best feature is the zipper up the back. I ordered other colors of laces (120 in.) to vary the black ones they came with. Super fun!

I like these shoes a lot. They don't have great arch support and not a lot of padding on your feet, but Converse tend to be this way. I like the zipper side. I have average sized calves and have found that many boots calves are too loose. These fit perfectly. Would definitely recommend!

Super fast delivery. I wear a 12 in most shoes, 13 in Nike, I ordered these in an 11 and they fit well, they just run big so get at least 1 size down from typical.

I love these shoes, I love these shoes, I love these shoes!
I worry about the zipper, though. It can be a bit of a struggle to get these on and zipped without just unlacing them completely and I worry about how the zipper is going to hold up after a while. Fingers crossed.

Don't let the zipper fool you. You're going to be lacing and unlacing these things a lot. I have calf muscles that can squeeze a man's head until it pops thanks to the sports I do and I was worried about the fit, but with the laces they are adjustable. Wear high socks or tights with these or they'll get lost down in there. They take awhile to get on, but they just look so cool. I'm probably going to put inserts in them for comfort, but these are my 5th pair of Chucks, so I knew I would need them before I got them.

I fell in love with these when I first saw them. Watch out when lacing them because they were not evenly laced at the beginning. I laced one shoe and had to do it over. They are a little hard to get on over the heel. Very comfortable to walk miles in. I broke them in on a trip to San Francisco.
I wear a 7.5 and they fit perfectly.

Years ago I had bought some knock off knee-hi Chucks, before Converse made them. They eventually fell apart, and I rued the loss. Then I found these and thought it would be the perfect thing! The style I wanted, with better quality hardware. Nope. The major design flaw here is that the space for the calf is about 3-4" too low resulting in an empty baggy section. Also the zipper on the grey pair was hard to use. The zipper on the black pair seemed okay. Size: I hadn't worn Chuck's in years but remembered they ran big, so I ordered a 6.5 and 7. (I'm a 7.5) The 6.5 was the perfect length, but just a little narrow through the widest part of the foot behind the toes. The 7 felt good in the width, and had extra room in the toes even with socks. It's kind of a given that there is no arch support in these shoes, but in case you weren't aware, there is absolutely none. So...I sent them back. Think I'm going to order another pair of the knockoffs from China, and maybe a low top pair of Chucks.

I bought Converse knee hi's for my granddaughter for Christmas, she lives in the UK, but when she got them they did not even come up to her knee as the website displays, they only came up to her calf. Extremely disappointing.

Too bad. Converse had a sworn sneaker-shunner on their side with my daughter's previous model of these shoes. Those were side-zip, and the tongue was affixed to the last, so slipping them on was easy. Not so with this re-design! The tongue flops around, untethered, which is annoying enough in regular Chucks; when they're a foot long? Fuggedaboutit! And if you want to leave them tied and just zip into them (who wouldn't?) it's almost impossible to cram your foot into the constricted space created by having tied the boots! Argh! We return them with heavy hearts. Still, I can't speak ill of the classic that I myself have been wearing since childhood. When they cost $10.
