The folks who work for Zappos are the best customer service folks I've talked to in a long time. Kudos to Zappos for the awesome customer service. I have owned Brook Beast's in the past and they've always worked great since I have almost no arch. For some reason these feel like they need a bit more of a break in period than my old ones, which were super comfortable out of the box. These feel a little stiff. Anyway, I'm still happy with them and I assume they'll break in after a few more runs.

I have been wearing this shoe for several years. My ankle turns in and this provides me with the support that I need. No problem with my knees anymore.

Excellent shoe for a wide foot on a fat person (me), I also have weak ankles, these take care of both. I use Zappos because it has fast shipping and a bullet proof exchange/return policy.

These shoes were highly recommended to me by two different specialty shoe stores because of the numbness in my feet. I am on my third pair and still love them. I can stand for long periods of time without feeling foot pain. Also, walking is a pleasure in these shoes. I recommend them to everyone!

I have been running in Brooks Beast for many years. Without a doubt I believe this is the best Beast they have ever produced. I weigh 200 lbs. and this shoe feels great to run in.

I have chronic foot pain and have avoided running for several months. The Beast has allowed me to ease back into running with very little pain.

This is my 8th or 9th pair of these shoes. I wear them all of the time. They are incredibly comfortable and my feet don't tire in them with a lot of walking. They are well-ventilated and my feet stay cool. I am a large man and I don't actually run or jog in the shoes. I actually even wear them to work! These shoes do seem to require a larger size than other shoes I purchase to fit properly.

First of all brooks beast is the best running shoe on the market - I have used them for years and actually avoided surgery with brooks and custom orthotics. Second Zappos really are who they appear to be - great products and even better service. I had to make an adjustment on my order and it not only was not a problem, the service person was like dealing with a friend - what a concept! All business people could could learn with what should be obvious - take care of your customers!

These shoes are amazing! My husband had both feet operated on years ago and these are now his work shoes. Yesterday we went to Disneyland all day and they help him live a full life!

I bought the Brooks Beast for my 13 year old son who has severe overpronation. I first went the expensive route of having orthotics made, but of course, he quickly outgrew them. So we tried the Brooks Beast without the orthotics. He can now hike longer without having to stop every few minutes. He is happier and he likes the design and color of the Beast - that always helps!

I am a heavy runner 250lbs. I had been looking for some good running shoes that could support my weight and over pronation. These shoes are great. I wish I would have bought them long ago. The support is great and the pains I had from running are gone.I would recommend the Books Beast to anyone that needs support and cushion.I would recommend a little break in time.

I walk 4-5 miles a day, and these shoes are the best. They are excellent for my wide bumpy feet. These are very comfortable, have great cushioning, and are not bad looking either.

I bought these one year ago. They're not just for running,I practically live in these shoes! I'm a 250 lb. runner who runs two miles three times a week. They provide ultimate comfort for anyone who's on their feet all day. Well worth the price but when ordering go a half size up, they run small.

I know, right...a woman buying a men's shoe. Well, I have big feet. These are awesome shoes. Lots and lots of stability. They are tough shoes. I just wish they came in girl colors.

These are the fourth or fifth pair of Beasts I have run through. I know of no other style that can provide the support and comfort of this shoe. If you need help with over-pronation you can not go wrong with a Brooks Beast!

Great shoe, very comfortable and sturdy. This is my second pair of Brooks, I don't imagine I will ever buy another brand again.

I am in my 40s and was born without arches. I have found the Beast to be about the best sneakers to support over pronation. I have tried many over the years. These provide the most relief from ankle strain. Nothing will fix the foot deformity but these provide the best support I have found. This benefit is in how the sole of the shoe is built more than having an arch in the shoe itself.

My boyfriend is a big fan of these shoes. He wore out his last pair training and running in marathons -- they served him well and he loves them. He never considered getting another brand/style since then. I got 'em for his birthday.

I had reconstructive surgery on my left ankle in September 2010. I have not been able to find a shoe that worked since the surgery. These brooks are wide enough and have the right support to get me out running again!

Great shoes, very comfortable for a big runner. Can't comment on wear yet, but other Brooks shoes I have had have lasted a very long time.

Love this shoe. I have many Brooks shoes but this is my favorite. Great support and extremely comfortable. I'm not a runner, just a walker, but these are great! Love the name.

The Beast is a terrific shoe for anyone with ankle stability and/or over pro-nation tendencies. My podiatrist recommended it and although it wasn't available in women's sizes, I just ordered a size smaller in men's. It has proven to be a wise purchase. I live in these shoes. The service from Zappos was quick, efficient and friendly, as always.
