This is a nice jacket. It's not too heavy, but stays very warm and also let's you breathe. I use it around San Francisco, because you can easily bring it anywhere and it works in windy brisk temps.

This is a great Jacket.Love the zip pockets. Very warm. Put on a sweatshirt and this jacket and perfect in winter or by it's self and works great fall and spring. Have two other North Face jackets and you pay a little more put their the best quality jackets you can buy.

The pros: Keeps wind out (caveats; see below). Looks fantastic. Does not wrinkle. Repels water fairly well (until the repellent wears off). The cons: Fit is very strange: the medium fit me perfectly in all areas but one - the armpits were practically digging into my skin. Sizing up a single size resulted in massively baggy sleeves (I settled on a medium, I am 6'1", 180 lbs, athletic build). Smell: What the hell is that smell? Does not keep cold out, at all, ever; blocking the wind is fantastic, but if you are in anything under 50, layer up or prepare to shiver Overall: It's a decent amount of money to spend on something this basic, and if all your needs are simply wind and not cold/heavy rain, then you will be fine. Also, make sure your shoulders are freakishly thin at the ball joint.

All I can say is "Wow." I ordered the jacket at 5pm on a Wednesday and the jacket was on my door step at 5pm Thursday! How did you do that? Will order from Zappos again!

I purchased this North Face Men's Apex Bionic Jacket for my grandson, it was a must have item. This is the second similar item I have purchased from Zappos. A perfect well made jacket. The service from Zappos is outstanding. Purchased online 6:30 pm on a Monday had jacket in hand by 2:30 pm on Tuesday. I was so surprised, I know they were fast but this was outstanding! Would purchase from their site again and grandson was happy to go to HS in his must have jacket. Thank you Zappos.

Bought this for my dad on my parents anniversary and he loved it, perfect fit, and style. Also bought my mom the women’s Bionic and as usual you can’t go wrong with the Bionic.

This is my second Apex Bionic jacket. I love, love, love my first but it started to get a little worn at the cuffs so I bought another. I wear it at work exclusively, I work in a hospital that is always freezing. Seriously the warmest lightweight jacket that I have found. The inside is very soft and makes the jacket feel like a warm blanket. The quality is great, no wind/or AC can get through, pockets are nicely lined and soft, zippers are strong. I always get a bunch of compliments on the jacket as well. I would recommend this jacket to a friend. Only con... and maybe it's just me but the sizing for most North Face items seems a wee bit small. Maybe they should make half sizes for the stuff, a half size up would have been perfect for me.

Great jacket for fall/spring for the windy city Chicago. Size is true fit, nice room for the neck, not as small as other North Face styles. This is a must have for windy days.

I was searching a follow up Jacket for my husband. The former style was not available anymore and we searched something that would be sporty casual but also look chic and not scream "sports jacket". We loved that this style was available in complete black which makes it perfect for a semi-chic night out in town. It fits true to size without being to snag. My husband is not easy to please but this jacket was perfect. On top Zappos service and delivery are unbeatable! We will definitely be returning customers!

This was my son's birthday gift. My son says it is great. It also keeps him warm on some cold days, but not the coldest ones.

I bought this for my team and they loved it. It is great quality and warm. It runs truer to size than the Pneumatic which runs really small.

This is a great cool weather windbreaker. I purchased it in the black/grey and it looks great. This is a very well-reviewed item so I have only two caveats. If you are a taller and well-built guy, be aware that this jacket does not come in tall sizes. I am 6'3 and 205 with a 44 inch chest, taking a 44 long in jacket sizes. The Bionic sits just below my waist as you see with the model. Moreover, the arms are just barely of appropriate length. So just be warned, if you're tall but not overweight, the Large is probably your best bet. I tried the XL and it was like wearing a box. Other than the limited sizes offered, great jacket. Not terribly comfortable, but highly useful and made of tough material.

Excellent jacket that really blocks the wind nicely. It's not for really cold conditions, but works great in the shoulder seasons. Though, I do I use it for skate skiing when it's really cold outside and it's just the combination for that. Pretty stylish, too.

At the risk of sounding like a paid endorsement...I love this jacket. It is the best casual jacket I've ever owned. I like it so much I own two (one black, one green) and bought one for my father for his birthday. I live in the South and travel extensively. For occasions that don't require a suit or sports coat, this jacket is all I need. Even in the winter when I travel elsewhere, I bring this and just layer a decent sweater under it. The design is extremely well thought out. The shell defends well against water and wind. If pressed for a Con: The only thing I don't like about it is that North Face is so popular I see other people wearing them fairly often. I wouldn't knock a Style star off for that, though, as you can't blame TNF for being popular.

Great jacket. I wore jacket for one entire week while out of town. Great fit, easy to clean and warm for it's thickness. I would highly recommend this jacket to anyone.

This is a great light jacket for Spring ski days or early Winter. It has good wind blocking qualities, but it will not keep you dry long in the rain.

Bought this coat for a friend 10 days before Christmas. Ordered on a Thursday after 5 pm and received on following Monday. Was very happy with coat, great quality, shipping free, happy with product and Zappos. Would order again.

I bought this jacket for my husband for Christmas. He wears XL in jackets and this XL fit perfect. He loves it. He likes how light weight it is, but at the same time very warm! It looks very slimming on him. A great jacket! Zappos service fabulous again, as always! The best way to shop!
