These are my favorite shoes for everything from light hiking, wet hiking, power walking and city walking! Super light and comfy, roomy for the toes.

Awesome shoes! It was love at first try-on! I tried a few other pairs but the women's specific design made a big difference for me. I put a pair of Superfeet Green in and the combination is absolute perfection! This is my second pair of Inov-8s - I also got the Inov-8 F-Lite 230 for my five day a week crossfit habit.

These are the best shoes I have ever owned! They are worth every penny. Super comfortable and extremely lightweight. I bought them because they are waterproof and worried that my feet might get hot. Well, they don't. I don't know how Gore-Tex does it, but these shoes breathe. I am not a runner, but I am a mother of 4 and I hate having soaking wet shoes/feet at the kids soccer and football games, not to mention, trekking through slushy parking lots all winter long. I highly recommend these shoes!

Just did a 12m trail run in these and they rocked! Feet dry and very solid shoe loved them! Stable and firm yet still had a light feel, worth the money.

These shoes are incredibly comfortable, sturdy and built for hiking along trails or climbing over boulders. Numerous times we crossed water and my feet remained dry. From the time I put them on to the end of the day (longest hike was 11 miles) they were so comfortable. My feet were the only ones in our entire group that weren't sore or blistered. I had never purchased Inov before, but I am a true fan and will return to this brand in the future.

Best running shoes I've owned. Perfect for walking too. Bought them for my trail running. I put them on and they fit like they were shaped to my foot. Super light, extra comfy. Soles are dark and did mark up my floor after I used them for an indoor workout, so just be aware. I highly recommend.

First off, I cannot stress how great Zappos is. I first ordered the shoes in the wrong size and took forever to even try mailing them back because I figured it would be a pain. It was quick and easy. Once they had received the shoes and I ordered the proper size, Zappos got them to me the next day. I had ordered them on a Thursday afternoon, standard shipping and I received them on Friday. The shoes are fantastic. I am a distance trail runner and wear Vibram FiveFingers most of the time. However, I wanted some shoes that I felt comfortable on really rocky terrain with. An added bonus is the Gore-Tex lining. I tried them on and they fit perfectly. I have been running in them for over a month and they hold up beautifully, and my feet stay dry even in rainy weather.

Light, aggressive, and very comfortable. This shoe has a good amount of room in the toe box and does well for a very neutral foot. Great shoe for any type of trail condition.

I got these shoes after I purchased the man's pair for my boyfriend. He convinced me I needed a pair, I'm so glad I listened to him! They are a great pair of shoes and very high quality. Would recommend to anyone that has an active lifestyle! Thanks Zappos!

Rock on, Roclites! Just ran in it yesterday for about 4-5 miles and, wow, what a surprise!. I love how the shoe fits snug like a glove. I also love how there is just enough cushion, but not so much that you can't feel the ground a little bit. The traction is just spot on and the rubber is very tacky and soft so you can easily run across boulders and logs. They also very light, which is good when you need to jump a snake! All in all I give this shoe a 4.5.

I have worn the shoes several times while working out in a "Boot Camp" class. The surface we use is grass and pavement. The shoes are very light and the cleats really help with running and cutting on grass and hills. I have so far done several runs of 1-2 miles on pavement in the shoes without any foot discomfort. I ordered my true size and the shoe fits perfectly. The quality is top notch. The GORE-TEX material is exactly what I need for wet grass surface workouts. I highly recommend the shoe for the type of workout that I am doing.

I bought the shoes a half size larger than normal and the fit is good. Waterproofing is great. I would buy these again.

Bangin' Stuck on this brand! Sexy, sure/deep tread, non-marking, waterproof, and super-light, supportive. Impeccable trail/mountain runner. GTX obviously can get clammy when wearing for many hours...so get another pair of non-GTX for around town. Again: sure tread, style, very light. Will buy again.

Highest Degree of Performance - I've run 13 ultras of 100 miles under 24 hours and I am always trying new shoes, and until today the best Gore-Tex trail shoes for me is the Roclite 312 GTX. Its super light, very comfortable, great cushioning, and more. In 2 week I will be running the Marathon des Sables (150 miles) in the Sahara Desert and off course I will run on my 312 GTX. Inov-8 truly makes a great shoe. Note: I am NOT a sponsor runner for Inov-8.

I love Zappos and I love Inov-8 shoes!! These are great shoes and are light and comfy but they are just a tad but less comfy than the Inov8 Terroc 330s which I'm keeping and returning these 312's.

Sublime! I chose this trail runner based on reviews and it exceeded all expectations. I trail run/hike in the Phoenix area where the terrain is rocky and slippery. The Roclite was awesome. The best part is that the shoe is incredibly lightweight. I thought I got the wrong size when it arrived as it is so much smaller than the shoe it is replacing. The shoe has great construction, hugs my feet in all the right places, lets me "feel" the trail while still protecting my feet. I highly recommend!

These are my first pair of Inov8s and I like them! The Gore-Tex is great...as long as the water doesn't go over the top of the shoe. They have great grip and are lightweight. I'm used to shoes with more cushion, but for use when the trails are damp, muddy and slippery, this is a great shoe!

I have purchased these shoes twice now. I love them. The best features of this shoe are that they provide great traction no matter what the surface conditions and are waterproof so keep my feet dry in wet conditions.....like running in the rain with my dog and walking/running in wet grass. I saw another reviewer who uses these shoes to do agility with. These would be great for that providing great tracking for making quick stops, or turns in grass or dirt conditions that are typical of an agility course. I use power step orthotic inserts in my shoes to give added support, since I had foot surgery to remove a morton's neuroma 4 years ago and need extra custioning where the 2 inch incision is on the bottom of my foot.

CRAZY light! Have the non-gortex version and love them. True to size, unfussy construction, great for that sensitive toe we all seem to have. Did not have as much heel cushioning as I was looking for though.

This is my second pair of roclites, the first with the Gore-Tex membrane. They are lightweight, minimalist shoes with plenty of width for the toes to flex and good tread for trail. I like these for lightweight hiking.

I bought these for running agility, they are my second pair of Inov-8s and I love them just as much as the first. They are the perfect combo of feel, grip and support and they are fantastic on wet grass. The Gore-Tex on these is totally worth the extra cost.

These shoes made my knees hurt every time I wore them. They were so expensive that I kept making excuses for the shoes, but it really was the shoes. They are gorgeous sneakers. The purple and black look amazing. Yet the quality and comfort just is not there. As others have said, Gore-Tex started to peel after a couple of uses. I think for the price this is not a good shoe!

I got these for hiking the Appalachian trail in 2015 which means hiking through all kind of weather for six to eight months. I got them half a size bigger to accommodate foot swelling. I tried them today on the streets of New Orleans and not impressed. I sort of felt like I was wearing Keds. Zappos delivered in a couple of days but not next day delivery as some people lead me to believe. I feel that I have to first find a pair in a brick and mortar store and when I find my best fit then order them from Zappos for the next pair to save the hassle of returns through the mail of which we seem not to have a post office in our area.
