I'm confused by all the 5 star comfort reviews. This is a gorgeous shoe, but definitely NOT comfortable for me. Both the sole and top of the shoes are terribly hard. I had red marks on my feet and was hurting a bit after standing (not walking) 45 minutes in them for a dress fitting. I haven't been a heels-every-day person in a few years, but I would not have chosen this shoe to wear all day even in that era of my life.

This is a gorgeous shoe, but the heel is higher than I expected and therefore, my ability to walk is nil.

These are very narrow! I ordered wide, and could not even get my toes into the shoes. If you need wide shoes, these are not for you.

These are nice shoes. They are pretty and pretty comfortable except they do run big. I did not realize at first as the toe area fits but I found my heel slipping a lot. Luckily I had read other reviews and brought moleskin which worked well but would have been a problem. I am going to have to find a better solution for the future. The heel height is good and I could walk and dance all evening. There is no arch support for my high arches but that is not a problem - it is usual for dressy shoes.

I love these shoes and have them in many colors. The black was too small. Other colors have fit great and been so comfortable! I usually wear them without hose but I even tried this pair with sheer hose and that was too tight!

Very pretty shoe. I like the sideways bow. More unique. Open toe but not too much showing. Cuts a bit at the opening but not so much to be unbearable.

I love these shoes!! The color is beautiful and they are going to be comfortable for my wedding day. I do think that I will need to break them in first though. They are very stiff.

So very pretty! And comfortable for being heels. I have a wide foot and these were the perfect width in wide.

After reading several of the other reviews, it was even MORE difficult to choose a size! Some said narrow, others said wide. Some said sizes run large, others said small. I surmised that for most people, their own foot is the gold standard...not very helpful. Okay, so I KNOW my foot is wide. I generally wear a 6.5W or EW, or 7W. Rarely can I wear a M width, so I always order shoes online (not sneakers). I will be Mother of the Bride in a winter wedding, wearing an indigo/navy dress which will need hemming, so obviously I had to buy the shoes before making an alteration appointment. This pair was my 4th attempt. The "new navy" shoes are the perfect color. Based on the confusing reviews, I took a leap of faith and ordered a 7W. They fit perfectly! I don't even have to stretch them out, despite moderate bunions. They are adorable, stylishly camouflaging the ugliest parts of my feet.

The color is very pretty. I plan to wear these with my wedding dress (which is ivory). The colors compliment each other very well if you are looking for a pop of color. The heel is just the perfect height-gives a little boost but not uncomfortable to walk in. The bow is adorable.

After previous attempts at other shoes, I finally chose this gorgeous heel to wear for my sons wedding this past weekend. I loved that they came in a wide width. My feet on not particularly wide but I always like to purchase dressy shoes with this width. Obviously, being at a wedding requires a lot of standing and dancing and these shoes were perfect! They are beautiful too and went so well with my dress. The heel is just the right height and definitely a shoe that I can use again. I highly recommend these!

The shoe is very nice and came in a great time frame/what I expected. One of the shoes feels tighter than the other, so it must just be me. I probably could have tried a 1/2 size bigger but I am usually true to size. I'm wearing them around the house to break them in before my wedding. Here's my word of caution: I'm 100% positive that Nina is scamming consumers. This shoe is exact to the "Forbes" style shoe that my bridesmaids all got cheaper at another big shoe company locally. They paid less and sine my size was no longer in stock I had to use Zappos to get it for less under a new name. I know that's not Zappos' fault, but Nina is ridiculous. They're all the same bridal style shoes, but they just rename them seasonally to jack the prices back up to full price. Oh well, you only get married once, right? (crosses fingers)

They are very very pretty. I wear an 81/2 wide in a dress shoe, and they fit almost perfect. Usually I choose a shoe with a strap around the heel because I have a narrow heel, but this shoe is snug enough there that I don't have to start with heel pads. I chose it to go with a gown for a wedding. The heel is higher than it appeared to me in the photo, but that just makes them a little sexy. Pretty comfy for the height of the heel, but I am going to have to get use to them before the event. Width is perfect, length was true. And they definitely don't look frumpy like many wide shoes. Giving them a 4 star instead of the 5 for the height of the heel and the angle it throws your foot at. To me that wasn't as comfortable, but if you are use to stilettos, you will think they are a 5.

Having tried both the Nina Forbes and Nina Elvira I think these shoes definitely run narrow. Although I have a wider foot, I usually don't need to order W sizes. However, for this shoe I definitely needed the W. It fit well and, for a high-heel, fancy party dress shoe, was quite comfortable.

When I need just the right shoe for a certain outfit, I've learned I don't have to spend a whole day shopping...I just browse Zappos and order. Their free shipping policy makes it so worth it!

I purchased these for a wedding and, while I haven't worn them enough to comment on longterm comfort, the three immediate reactions I had were: 1. Runs a little big. I ordered the 6.5 and 7 since I'm normally about 6.5 but can run somewhere in between, and the 6.5 fit just about perfectly - maybe even a little on the roomy 6.5 side. I'd be swimming in a 7. 2. Potentially rough around the edges. Consider tape or some breaking in around the toe and heel for optimal comfort. 3. Great heel height - it adds inches and lengthens the leg without feeling unnatural or uncomfortable. On the style front, I tend to think that this looks like a bridal shoe, but it's a very attractive one. I'm pleased to be wearing it in the bridal party, but don't know that I will get much use out of it beyond the wedding day. Navy satin seems to scream "bridesmaid!" One disclaimer: soles feel *very* slippery.

Great, comfortable shoe. Fits true to size. Satin shoe is much prettier than picture shows.

I love these shoes! They are pretty and very comfortable as well. There are not many navy dressy shoes on the market and these are great.

Beautiful shoe but their "wide" size in this particular shoe wasn't wide enough for me. Sadly, I had to return it.

Beautiful but painful! So close to being the perfect shoes for the wedding, but hit the joint painfully at the ball of the toe. Reluctantly sending them back.

I bought these shoes in Gold Royal Satin for my wedding day. The height was perfect! They were very comfortable during the standing-around-picture-taking period. I did take them off at the reception, but I think that was more because I don't normally wear heels and my feet were resentful. Overall, I would say these were a score! And the color is so beautiful that they look much more expensive than they were. Thanks, Zappos!

Really cute shoes! I bought these shoes for a wedding, ordering the navy and black. I tried the navy on and they fit great but, at the last minute decided to take the black. Imagine my surprise when I put them on and they were 1/2 size too big. Since I was out of town, I had to wear them (bought heel pads and toe pads and they were still too big). Anyway, got home, contacted Zappos & they gladly took the worn pair back and sent me another pair in a smaller size. LOVE Zappos! And really love these shoes and, because they're a classic style, I imagine that I'll be able to wear them a lot.

It pains me to write this because these shoes are very pretty and I had really high hopes for them. Unfortunately, they are uncomfortable. I agree with the reviewer who said that the shoe is very hard across the top of the foot/toes and underneath the ball of the foot. I find that most peep toes really pinch, but I guess I just hoped it was because I wore poorly constructed ones before this. These definitely pinch. I couldn't even imagine wearing them long enough to break them in. Now, if you wear high heels often and are accustomed to the way they position your foot, you may not have the same issue. One more note - I ordered the sand luster. It's very pretty, but it's not nearly as pink as the picture makes them look. They're more what you would imagine sand to look like, a beigy-sandstone like color. Like I said, beautiful, but not what I expected. In the end, I have to return these because they just hurt too much.

I am 5 foot 9. I love heels and needed a dress shoe for my son's wedding. These were it - not too high and very comfy. Zappos was wonderful as always.

Chose this pair from several I tried for my wedding. Out of the box they were the most comfortable. I must admit, I do not wear heels very often; however, I managed about 6 hours in these before they started to hurt. I did end up with two small blisters on the inside of each foot an inch down from my big toe. Hopefully they are broken in as I do plan to wear them again.
