My advice: don't bother buying these; refuse to buy crappy consumer goods. These are as expensive, light, wool-blend socks. I ponied up for pricey socks because I am willing to pay for durability. (I am sick and tired of buying expensive, disposable consumer goods.) So imagine my disappointment when, after my first wearing, the heels were so thin (or poorly made) that the heel seams ripped. They look like old, thread-bare socks, but they are not old socks. They are new, disposable socks misrepresented as something they are not.

Very comfortable, but had holes by the third wearing. Amazingly poor quality for Smart Wool. I would try their other socks if I were you.

I bought these socks for my dad, who was complaining of not having any thin dress socks that didn't bunch around his wide feet. He was very happy with the feel of these socks, on and off of his feet. I am excited for him to start his foray in to SmartWool socks.

Have size 13 feet and these socks for great around the foot. Not quite as soft as my last set of wool socks but very comfortable nevertheless. They are a bit thicker than I expected. For work shoes I would normally prefer something a little thinner but my shoes still fit. My main criticism is with regard to the calf. I am tall and lanky yet find the top to be too tight around my calf. I end up folding then slightly. Worn normally they feel more like compression socks. I tend to wear shorter socks so perhaps I will get used to it.

I wish Smartwool lasted longer! I am a teacher and I had these socks for one school year. The heels wore thin pretty quickly and today my big toe burst through. I probably wore these socks at least once a week for the school year. They also shrink quite a bit so if I buy more Smartwool socks (which despite my experience I still might since they're so much more comfortable than any other wool socks I've gotten) I'll get them a size too big.

My husband loves Smartwool socks and has a bunch of them, but we were very disappointed in these. They slide down horribly and are so uncomfortable that he won't even wear them. Its unfortunate that they come in a three pack because it was a total waste of money.

I as not the biggest fan of these socks. They do not stay up throughout the day and I found myself constantly pulling them up.

These socks are the best I've ever owned. I have owned 9 pair over the past ~9 years and the only reason I buy new ones is because the back of the heel (at the Achilles) tends to wear thin long before any other area or aspect of the sock wears out. The secret to making these socks last is to wash them in warm or cold water (in your washing machine) but always AIR DRY them. NEVER put them in a dryer. You will enjoy these socks for years.

These are great dress socks! I've only worn them a few times but really like how they look - plus they stay up about as well as any other sock I've tried. They're warm in cold weather but not too thick to wear with dress shoes.

Excellent socks! They feel great, in exactly the way that dress socks don't feel. My foot measures 14.5, and the heel fits right where it's supposed to. They don't fall down, or slide forward in my shoes. I like these so much I replaced all my socks with these!
