Based on other reviews, I purchased these shoes for Zumba. For me, these shoes are absolutely, positively not good for Zumba! They may be good for something, but they are way too stiff for Zumba. They also ran a 1/2 size too small. In addition to these sneakers, I tried Ryka Studio D, Ryka Studio D Mid, and Ryka Studio Flex Low. Although they were lighter and more flexible than the Nike Musique IV, they all ran a 1/2 size too small and did not offer enough cushioning for high-impact dance routines. From the moment I tried each pair of shoes on, I could tell they wouldn't work for class (I tried them out by jumping around on my carpeted floor at home...and my knees were crying!). Needless to say, all four sneakers are being returned. My Zumba instructor recommended that I try Brooks PureCadence (she teaches 3-5 times a week and that's what she wears), so I bought a pair and they are perfect! Although these are running shoes, the soles are surprisingly smooth enough for easy pivoting and the shoes are very lightweight, flexible, and offer great arch support and cushioning (and they come in cool colors). They are a bit pricey, but I highly recommend giving Brooks PureCadence a try if you're looking for an awesome shoe to Zumba your way to better fitness (while preventing injury in the process).

I do zumba every day, using them is like a punishment. They are so hard and uncomfortable. I paid full price, after I used them, I say to myself...what a big mistake.

I wore these shoes one time for a Zumba class, the leather beside the strings dug into my foot and by the end of the class I was limping. I didn't find that these shoes were smooth enough and I caught myself several times. I ended up giving these to a friend and getting some Rykas. Also, order a half size larger!

I bought this for Jazzercise and it has been a big disappointment. It is very stiff and unyielding; making it very difficult to break in. I think I shall give up and go back to Nike Frees. My arches ache after an hour class with these!

I bought these for Zumba. Shoes were terribly stiff and never softened up before I returned them. These caused my feet to go numb halfway through class. Just...clunky!

I bought these shoes for Zumba class. While the sole is good for that purpose, the shoe itself is very uncomfortable. My foot is very average in size and shape so I do not generally have fit issues with athletic shoes. This one, however, squeezes my toes to the point that I have abrasions in several places. I wish I could return them but I wore them a few times thinking they would break in. No such luck! I have given them away because they made my feet so miserable.

This shoe looked and sounded like it would be great for cardio dance and Zumba, however, it was far from it. I wore them at the zumba convention and they hurt my feet horribly. Kept dancing in socks and only wearing when I was outside. Not comfortable at all. Very disappointed. You are better off with a cheerleader sneaker which is lightweight, comfy, and has more give.

I recently purchased the Nike Musique IV. I went by a review that someone had posted and purchased a 1/2 size smaller. I should have went with my gut and purchased the size I normally buy because they are true to form. I actually am not happy with the shoe though. I purchased with the intent of using for Zumba. They do not move very well, but it could be because we are dancing on short carpet. I put duct tape on them and they work better. The shoe is narrow, but my feet are narrow. For a person that has a wider foot though, I would chose another shoe. Zappos! I will certainly buy from them again, it felt like they shipped before I ordered. I got the order very fast. When I returned the original pair it was fast and easy. I shopped for a different pair but ended up going back with the Nike Musique. If at all possible Zappos sent them back faster the second time!

Tried these for Zumba and did not like them in comparison to my Blochs. This shoe has no support and sticks to the floor during the class, I would not recommend for Zumba classes.

I found these shoes to be very uncomfortable. Also they do not have any mesh to keep the feet cool. I am returning.

This shoe was too snug. My toes went numb while doing zumba and I had to return them. I needed a wider dance sneaker. I ended up with the Ryka Studio D Mid, which are working out for me. My toes don't go numb. I am still breaking them in. It is very hard to find a comfortable Zumba shoe. It took me a long time because I am a size 5m.

The shoe was not comfortable. The thin insole and narrow toe made walking in the shoe increasingly more uncomfortable/painful. I stopped at the mall in between errands and purchased another style. I wore the newer shoes out of the store.

Great shoes for Jazzercise. I bought another pair after trying the first one for 2 weeks. Perfect soles for doing pivot turns!

I did not like the way these shoes looked on my feet at all. Kind of looked like a guy's shoe and made my feet look larger. Even though I ordered a half size bigger than my normal size, they were still not comfortably wide enough, so I returned them.

Way too much traction for Zumba! First time I wore them, I went to pivot -- my body turned, but my feet stayed planted (ow). It's disappointing, because the padding and look are awesome (though they do run quite small and narrow).

I am returning, felt tight and looks like it won't breathe either. Quite stiff. I went with the Ryka Transition for Zumba instead and they feel great and worth the additional money.

This shoe looks good on paper but the fit was terrible. The shoe does not at all accomodate the natural widening across the ball mounds of a typical foot. I could not even begin to wear it to walk around the house, and my feet run more narrow than wide. It would take an unusual foot to fit in this shoe.

I've had these for 3 weeks and am disappointed in the comfort and style. First, order your right size! I went up 1/2 a size and they are too big! I wanted to try them on at a store before buying, but could not find them anywhere. However, the soles are great for Zumba twists and glides, but the shoes are ugly. And my feet sweat in them. These are my 3rd pair of Zumba shoes in the last year and they are my least favorite. I won't buy them again.

A very stiff shoe. I would not recommend these for dance classes, or any other physical activity. These were the stiffest shoes I have ever tried on and not flexible. I always buy my work-out shoes a half size larger than dress shoes. I am a true size 6, however I wear mostly a 6 1/2 in heels/dress shoes (except Nine West and always wear 6). So, all running shoes or work-out shoes always go up half a size for me. I bought these in a 7 and they were the right length and width, but these were not flexible or breathable.

Why can't shoe makers understand that tall women have big feet but don't want to wear men's shoes? I am 5'11 and wear a solid 11.5-12.5. These fit in no way shape or form. So now I have to Zumba in shoes that look like orthopedics. Unfortunate because these are super cute shoes. Fortunately Zappos is awesome, as usual, with their great return and shipping policy.

It is not comfortable right out of box--stiff, little clunky. I don't like this type of leather. Previously, I ordered half size bigger but was too long.

No, no, no. Not for me. Nike notoriously is known for their shoes running smaller in size. Not this time! Too much length, not enough width. Uncomfortable right out of the box. Put them on, rigid. My feet deserve comfort with its support. Definitely stylish, but won't cut it. Darn! Will need to return these.

Now that I have worn them for a few Zumba classes, I wish I could return them. They are much too sticky for a gym floor. At first they were fine, finish must have rubbed off and now my ankles/knees hurt due to the sticking. I also had to put in gel inserts, not enough cushioning. I am going back to the Leo's dance sneaker. They may be ugly but boy do they slide.

These shoes are so noisy! I feel like a nurse in a hospital in some movie when I walk in them. Squeak, squeak, squeak. And I've had them for a while and they still do it. They're cute and comfy, but I wouldn't buy them again.
