Style looks nice from afar but boot material is low quality. Shoe part fit fine. I have huge calves 14 inches but this boot's calf circumference and shaft are way too big (In the 8W I got, the circumference/shaft looked like 19-20 inches). Looks like I'm walking about in a bucket and water/snow/ice would definitely accumulate in it as you walk the city.

These boots fit well in the foot but are ridiculously large in the calfs. I have to return them.

Oh, no! The upper parts of these are so wide I could put my hand in there when they were on! They are very attractive and the foot part fit fine, but if you have narrow or even normal calves, these will be ridiculous on you. Too bad, I wanted something shiny like this.

Wonderful! They are my "go-to " boots. They take a beating from me. My ONLY issue with them, is that the heel needs to be stronger, as it tends to separate from the sole of the boot over time. I'm handy with tools, & I was able to put a sturdy screw into the heel through the inside of the boot. For the price, these boots are FAB! XOXO Bobbi

These boots are fantastic. I have very bad feet, and it is hard to find shoes or boots that look good and do not make me miserable. I wear them all day at the office with no issues. I like them so much I bought the black leather and the shiny ones too.

Purchased this item, and had to return.. The calf allowance is huge. If you have karge calf's, these are the boots for you!!

I thought this boot would be very comfortable, but actually it's not. It feels really tight on my right feet, but the left is somewhat comfortable.

Almost cool boots. However, I have slightly big calves, and the calf circumference on these boots were just crazy wide. I did not understand these boots, so had to return them. If you have large calves, then these might be the boots for you because they look pretty nice other wise.

First of all. They zipped (with some difficulty) over my 18" calf, yay! However, the synthetic leather looked cheap. Sadly, I will return them.

The material feels really artificial and plasticky. And good grief, is the calf huge! I always order a half size up in boots so I can wear a sock, and while the size was okay the calf was enormous. It's going back!

Very comfortable boots. I didn't know how comfortable they would be but are very comfortable to wear with tights, socks or bare boot underneath.

I liked the way the boot looked on my foot but it was downright baggy from the ankle up. I also felt the material seemed flimsy for the price. A disappointment. They are going back.

The foot fit fine, but the calf was too wide. There was a large gap at the top. Sad to have to return these.

I just wore these boots for the holiday, which meant walking to and from temple and standing all day in a brand new pair of shoes, and my feet were happy and looked great too! I love the patent, a bit of a retro look, and the heel is a great height, a bit sexy, but practical too. Can't wait to wear them again!

I was so excited to get these boots! The foot part of them fit well and it seemed like it would be a comfortable boot. I have thick calves and have a hard time finding boots to fit over them. I had my fingers crossed that I could get a 14 1/2" shaft zipped up. The shaft is not 14 1/2...it's just shy of 18" around, huge! I've never seen a boot with this wide of a shaft before. It looks ridiculous, like it was made for a very overweight person. I also wasn't impressed with the material, I didn't realize the boot wasn't leather. It's a very cheap looking polyurethane.

I am reviewing a 6.5 WW (EE). Classic, beautiful foot design and very comfortable. I have to return these, however, because the extra wide shaft appears exaggerated to a surprising degree. The item images do not do the shaft circumference justice - it looks like a wide-mouth funnel coming into the ankle. The review that likened the look to "firemen's boots" was spot on. No amount of tucking in pants could ever fill the shaft on these boots on my calves. The shaft circumference is given as 14.5 inches. My flexed calves are 13.5 inches - I wouldn't have thought my legs would look like I was swimming in the extra inch. I pulled away the extra material from my calf and measured 2.5 inches of excess. But for the extra-wide shaft circumference, I think these boots are extremely elegant - I love the seam down the center of the boot and the stacked heel - and they could have been my go-to boots for the next 2-3 years.

These boots are the closest I've come to perfect, but they're still not right for me. The availability of wide widths is a plus. The height of the shaft didn't totally overwhelm my legs, and the cushioning in the ball of the foot was excellent. Alas, the shaft is far too wide for my very athletic calves, and it looks like I'm swimming in them. It's so sad. I love them, but they're not right for me

These boots are the most comfortable boots I've ever worn, to have a heel. I wore them 10 hours right out of the box! I would order more colors if available.

I finally found the perfect boot! I have to walk a lot at work up and down long hallways all day. "These boots were made for walking" but seriously a day at the mall and they didn't kill my feet? Unheard of. I find I'm wearing them almost every day. I highly recommend these boots, I better get another pair before they're all gone. Thank you David Tate!

The boots are very cute. I ordered a "9M", which is the same size as every other pair of shoes I own. The size was "okay", but the boot itself was much too narrow. There is no room to move your feet or toes...at all! I will be returning, but wish I didn't have to. If you order your true size, you may want to consider an additional size in the width. Otherwise, you should order up a 1/2 size.

Great boot and very comfortable. I wear a size 12 and have very large calves -- this boot fits my leg comfortably.

Just what is needed to dress up pants for work in the fall/winter. Also is great with rolled skinny jeans and a sweater. very comfortable.

I love these boots! I am a flight attendant and was looking for simple, but stylish boots to wear with my uniform. These are perfect! Very comfortable and true to size.

I have a wide foot but not a wide calf. This calf was very wide even though the foot fit. Wish there was a boot that fit wide small feet but not big in other areas. I have a 5 ww. Please get something for people like me.
