These are the kind of socks that once you put them on you'll never want to take them off -- literally! Yes, they're that comfortable and of course, they keep you warm. I wear them when I go running or biking in 37 degree weather and they keep me pretty warm. They're a bit pricey but they're worth every penny -- and perhaps more.

I have a problem with my feet getting cold very easy. I bought these for doing chores in a barn and horseback riding. They are awesome! Very cushy, but don't make your shoes tight and so warm! My toes were so warm! Love them! Bought 3 pair! They are also great for scooting around the house! If you have cold feet, buy these! They are a bit pricey but so worth it!

Wonderful, strong socks! Even my dogs who love to chew on my socks have difficulty ruining these socks. They were also very comfortable for all day hiking.

These socks are AMAZING. I’m finally buying some new socks today after 15 years of wearing my current pair ‘til the heels wore bare. Yes, after 15 years they’re still wearable; they don’t have any holes in them. The wool piling has just worn away in one spot on my heels--otherwise the socks are still completely intact and they’re still the warmest and softest socks I own. I’ve really put them through everything too: from wearing them on several backpacking/hiking trips in Southern California where they kept my feet dry and blister free in the heat without feeling too hot to keeping my feet toasty warm during the freezing cold winters in New York. I find myself reaching for these socks to just wear around the house too, they beat any pair of slippers I own by a landslide for comfort and warmth. I just can’t say enough about these socks!! (I only gave them 3 stars for style, but nobody would wear these for style anyways.)

Do not think twice about buying these great socks. Any "trekking" you do will be much more comfortable. I have purchased Smartwool socks before, but never this style. It has the most cushion and is extremely warm. The fit is perfect with no toe seams to bunch up. I think the directions say to wash in warm water, but I’ve mistakenly put them in with a hot wash and then stick them in the dryer. They are just fine. I do turn them inside out first because you will notice a little pilling. These are socks that rock, really.

Excellent price for a fantastic product!\r\nI\'ve used smartwool socks before, but these hiking socks really are perfect for wearing in my hiking boots.\r\nI have sweaty feet and smartwool is the only sock that I feel comforable, dry and warm in.\r\nThe hiking sock adds a nice bit of padding to the sole of the foot too!

Cushy, Dry and Comfy - I have sensitive feet and fuller lower legs, so I need a sock that will cushion and not bind. These socks were the answer. Very thick and snug, but not uncomfortably tight. I bought the largest size so my ankle/calf would not be squeezed (I expected the foot to be a little long).

The best socks ever! I love Smartwool products but this is by far the best! I wear these socks all the time - day and night! WOW! After putting these puppies on I don't think I can go back to wearing cotton socks. Do yourself a favor and order not one but two or three packs. Seriously! They may be a bit pricey but they're worth every penny...

Excellent! I bought a pair of these socks in 1998... They held up for almost 10 years! Truly worth the price. They stay soft and comfy after repeated washings and really keep your feet warm without getting too hot.

Warm, dry, and comfortable all day long! I purchased 2 pair of these socks 6 years ago, while working for the Post Office, during the winter, when your toes would get COLD driving those unheated, crappy mail trucks, and having to get out and walk through snow and slush. These socks kept my toes from frostbite, while other carriers were suffering, and now, I enjoy them as "house socks," because they keep my feet warm, which helps keep me warm, when winter makes the floors cold, and house shoes just don't quite do the job.

Great socks - I've had problems in the past keeping my feet warm, but these socks make the difference. I also have a pair of Smart Wool Medium weight crew socks and love them also. I spend alot of time outside walking and always grab my Smartwool's.
