These little boots will fool you (pleasantly). They are light weight and comfortable like high top tennis shoes yet are strong and sturdy like a boot. I have been on many a hiking trail since I received them. Glad to have bought them.

My husband\'s very favorite boots! He\'s had a couple pairs of these over the years. He says they are great for trudging through the woods--truly waterproof, or for being on his feet all day at work--very comfortable. Plus, I think they look great on him!

I bought these boots for my husband for work and he's a very picky person, but he absolutely loves them. He said they are the most comfortable boots he really has ever worn. He works sometimes more than 12 hours at a time outside and has no problems with these boots. Thank you Zappos for a great product.

These are extremely comfortable boots. I wore them the first time for a day hike of about 3 hours, and my feet felt fine. Good support, and a good fit. I recommended them already to a friend looking for new boots. Anyone looking for a nice mid height hiking boot would enjoy this pair.

These boots were exactly what I needed for a trip to the Costa Rican jungle, but they're just as perfect for the concrete jungle of NYC. A terrific, sturdy design and surprisingly comfortable right out of the box, with little to no break in period necessary! Plus Zappos made sure I got em in time for my trip. I love the Timberland brand and love Zappos service. Buy these boots.

I am outdoors a lot. Hiking, fishing, etc. These are by far the most comfortable and durable outdoor boots I have ever worn. And I have had a lot of different brands. They even work great when I shovel snow. The traction on snow and ice is incredible. Yes, ice! Recently, while hiking on a trail with a couple of buddies, they had to keep stopping and resting their feet from the fatigue their boots, at more than twice the price of my Timberlands, were causing them. The guys I were with by the way, are in excellent physical shape like me. So conditioning had nothing to do with it. Thanks Timberland.

Great boot - Got these a few weeks ago and so far so good. Very comfortable interior and worn easily all day long. Looks great too. I have yet to try them in wet situations but I'm sure they'll hold up fine for my needs which is mostly riding a motorcycle in the rain.

The Timberland White Ledge boots are waterproof and, like most hiking boots, getting more comfortable with each wearing. Both the arch support and the uppers are a great fit for my feet, and I would not hesitate for a minute to set off on a lengthy hike in them. They are perfect for this climate, with water, mud, slush, or snow in abundance on almost any hike taken from October through April. A great value, too. \r\n

I have been using these boots as both hiking and winter boots for about 4 years now. I have worn them in rough terrain, wet portage trails, and through the Minnesota winter. They stay waterproof until the tongue is submerged, which is totally expected by me. I wear these frequently and they're not quite as "pretty" as when I first bought them, but they aren't worn out on the treads, all the fabric is in good condition, and the leather has kept its waterproof function despite being scuffed. I can see them lasting at least 4 more years, and would totally purchase them again. As a note, I am a woman wearing the men's style, and I purchased a men's 8 when I am usually size 7-7.5 in men's shoes. So I recommend trying them in store just in case.

These boots are great. If you're not looking to spend too much on some boots for the impending snow/rain or if you want some boots that aren't too flashy, these boots are very well-made. The fit is almost exact to what is stated by the manufacture, so don't worry about the size being larger or smaller than what is stated unlike other boots.

This boot is marketed as “waterproof “. Not even close. Just spent about 15 minutes walking around in 2 - 3” of wet slushy snow and the boots (and my socks) are soaked. Less than 3.5 months since purchasing with normal wear.

Very poorly made! Bought for winter use. I don't work outdoors so use was very light. They were comfortable and waterproof for almost 1 and 1/2 months. At that time the welt began to separate. Bought some shoe goo and will try to use these until spring, then into the trash can. I have bought very cheap boots that have lasted longer than these.

It is now May 14 purchased them August 2021 so far so good as I do work inside maintenance. Construction I do bend down a lot so the crease of the shoe does get worked out a lot actually I would have thought they had stored in splitting or tearing apart but they have not yet they’ve held up as I have put leather conditioner and leather saddle soap on them

These are very nice boots and they are holding up well. I have owned them for about 5 months. Daily wear. Would definitely recommend them.

I have a tween who no longer needs clunky winter boots to play in the snow. I wanted something to keep his feet warm and most importantly dry. Combined with Timberland style and the price- it was a no brainer. He even mentioned they were “actually comfortable” which for a tween, very important. We already went hiking and heading into winter, so happy with the purchase. Note: They fit true to size.

Third time is definitely the charm! They fit perfectly, even around the ankle (the last two failed attempts were both 8" high, and left gaps on both sides of the tongue, making the laces too short to tie), so it's worth it to give up the higher shaft and go with what works. This is my second pair of Timberland boots, making me wonder why I didn't START here!

I purchased this boot for a trip to NYC for a week. Lo and behold, I was caught in a massive snow storm the week of February 1 through the February 3rd, 2021 with a total accumulation of around 17 inches; if you do not believe me check the news! My car was snowed in and the boots kept my feet dry. Excellent purchase!!

These shoes fit me very well, they're confortable, I can be wearing them at work a whole shift and my feet wouldn't get tired. I do not like the material very much, gets like wrinkles easily, I wish I would have bought them on another color I think they'd look nicer. And the right shoe causes me a red spot, so I need to tai it up very tight in order to avoid that happening.

They were a father's day gift for my husband. But then these are the only boots he will buy and wear! He runs equipment all day and they are the most comfortable on his feet. They give him support, they are waterproof, and they fit and look awesome! He loves them!

Excellent quality boots , really like the boots but am exchanging for next size up. Really like and own Timberland footwear for the quality and styling. Have two pairs of chukka boots and a pair of shoes. All very comfortable and ware well.
