Cute, cute, cute! I bought the all-black ones. It is true what other reviewers say about there not being much arch support- these do not cushion the feet like running shoes. I've worn these shoes in one form or another since I was a child and have always loved them- and they are always the same (that's in a good way!). I wear them for looks, not for sports, and they are perfect for that. They were also comfortable right out of the box, lightweight and true to size. I wear them with everything- skirts, jeans, sundresses.

Cool looking shoe, especially with jeans. They have no arch or heel support so be warned - your feet will hurt. Do yourself a favor & buy a pair of inserts. You can rip out the original insole - it's just glued in & comes out with a little effort. I removed mine & with a new insert they feel great!

Classic - Great shoe. Didn't expect any less from a Chuck. Did take some time to break in. I wore them to a show and my feet were killing me by the end. But overall no other problems with comfort.

Converse Sneakers - I think my sneakers are absolutely adorable. I will note that they are very true to size. In dress shoes and exercise sneakers I tend to wear a 7 1/2 because my feet are very wide, however in these I could have used the 7. They are comfortable and Zappos is a great site to deal with.

Coolest Shoe EVER! I've purchased this same shoe for over 18 years and each time I order them I love them more and more! I'll wear them until they fall apart. The more worn-out, the better. Comfortable walking shoes - These shoes are made for walking. Can't really run in them and they sorta squeak when you walk in them. But they go with any pair of jeans.

Good Shoes - Got these to do martial arts. I want a flat simple shoe. This fits the bill though it is a little narrow. Possibly my wide duck feet. I wouldn't play basketball or go running in these, but they are very good for what I want. Wish they were a little wider.

Converse all star core OX - Still a very cool look! I wore these years ago and had to have a pair for Summer. I normally wear a size 7.5 so I ordered the Men’s 4.5 and they're good. If you're a size 7.5 like me, try the 4.5 or even the 4 because these do have a bit of wiggle room. I'm just going to put an arch support in to tighten them up a bit instead of exchanging for a smaller size.

Just what I wanted. I've wanted a pair of these for a long time so I finally just decided to get them. They aren't expensive, and I needed a pair of shoes that I can wear with jeans that are comfortable, and what better than a classic! I love them and I'm even considering buying another pair in a different color! I def recommend them, although they aren't the best shoes to wear all day, your feet will probably start to hurt after a couple hours :)

The best all-around shoe! I love my Converse- in all colors and heights! These black ones are my classics, though. I wear them with jeans, dresses, skirts, with tights - they are cute, cute, cute!!! They never fail to get compliments.

This shoe will always be a classic! It's not just the retro-cool look, but the fact that it is unisex makes this shoe a 5-start all-around winner. Because it's sized for both men & women, the width is slightly wider and the length slightly longer than usual; this is no problem (since you can tie them securely), and the "extra" makes these shoes really comfortable right out of the box. The canvas top doesn't trap moisture and your foot is comfortable.

For about 50 years - Like all Chucks they run large, look cool and are comfortable for me - I don't care much about arch support. I have 2 pairs of Chucks currently, have had dozens of pairs since I was about 7 or 8 years old. I ruin them because I don't wear socks.

Timeless classic - I had a pair of chucks years ago and recently started wishing I knew what ever happened to my favorite shoes of yesteryear. Sooo, I bit the bullet and bought some more. They are every bit as comfy and stylish as I remember. With jeans, cute summer dresses, khakis, skirts or a funky addition to a dressy outfit--- you can't go wrong. Buy these.

Wondering if they changed the design of this shoe... I have owned quite a few pairs of Converse over the years (but not in the last 10 years or so) and I don't remember them being this narrow. They were always a little bit on the narrow side but after a couple of wearings they would adjust to my foot, these new ones were so narrow in the toe box that my last 2 toes were completely squished together. The shoe itself looks to almost be a pointed toe. I would never be able to break these ones in! The kids size that I ordered for my daughter has a more rounded toe, I wish they would do that for the adults too.

Classic, Stylish Shoe - These shoes are the classic look for any style you wear, and they match with everything. Most people know they have no arch support, so they aren't good for, say, walking around New York City for 3 days...but otherwise they are great. Comfortable for casual wear and some distance walking. Fit to your feet well. Sweet look.

A classic...but I swear monochrome fits differently! I love my Chucks. Have them in seven different colors. Don't expect much in the way of upper padding, it's just nice breathable canvas and that's it. The sole is thick, bouncy, rubber that resists slips quite well. The white rubber parts get scuffed and dirty easily, but these shoes tend to look even better when abused, so go ahead, knock 'em around. They do size differently than other shoes, so if you're between sizes (like me) go for the smaller size as these shoes run big. I swear the black monochrome run a bit smaller than the others, so I'd stick to my regular size if ordering the black monochrome color. Overall a timeless classic! Order one pair and you'll be hooked for life.

Sweet shoes if you like old school!!! I purchased these shoes and love them. I first ordered my normal shoes size but had to send back for 1/2 size smaller. You should really take that serious when by them. As for the comfort they aren't an all day walking shoe but I put insoles in them and they are all day shoes now!!! Lastly, the look is AWESOME; I love the old school look. GO BUY SOME!!

Converse rocks! I ordered the Converse All Store Core Ox in black, and I just love them so much! I needed a comfortable and versatile shoe for walking around my college campus all day, and these are perfect! Zappos also upgraded my shipping to next day for free, how nice of them!
