fun shoe - This is a fun shoe, reminding me of the sneakers I wore as a kid. Very comfortable, but doesn't really have any arch support. Like most sneakers, I bought a half size up. It's roomy barefoot but just right with thicker athletic socks.

Like others have said about PF Flyers, they are much more comfortable than Chuck Taylors; however, that said, they are still a bit tight and are best suited to people with narrow feet. Love the look, though.

so happy with pf flyers - My husband's wish came true with the return of PF Flyers. Now he's wearing the shoes he wore as a boy and can "run faster and jump higher" just like he use to do. You have made him very happy. Thank you.

Skipped a generation - So I'm a 53 year old gramma who bought the PF Flyer Navy Center Lo canvas re-issue size 6. I remember them from the early 60's, and they look and feel the same as they did then, and they are FUN. My 10 year old grandaughter saw them and has twice tried to swipe them from me. "COOL shoes gramma Jean!" So now I've got to get her an identical pair to be able to keep mine.

Young again!!! I had a pair of Chuck Taylor's leather Converse All Stars. They were too narrow and just didn't feel as good as the cloth All Stars; so I was skeptical on buying the PF Flyers. However, once I got them and tried them on, the fit was perfect. I am a manager in my profession. On casual Friday's, I wore them for the first time. They were a big hit, even to the younger crowd. These shoes are the first that I reach for on the weekend.

Buy These!! These sneaks are the cutest! So happy with them I can't tell you! I ordered a pair of black Chuck Taylor's from Zappos, which I wear constantly, so I figured I'd give these a try. I got them 2 days after I ordered them, and can already tell they are gonna be a favorite. I wore them to the mall the first day I got them, and several people stopped me and told me how cute they were. Naturally I told them I got them from Zappos. I definitely would recommend them to anyone who wants to look stylish, but a little "different". Once again, you've made a happy customer out of me! I'll never stop shopping with you guys! Thanks!

Flyers - Good all in all. Sizes run A LOT smaller than what I normally wear. 9 - 9.5 is the norm, I had to eventually get a 10.5 to fit well. Otherwise, with Chuck Taylor's being made by Nike, it's good to have these instead.

Much, much more than I hoped for - I have seen the wacky ads for PF flyers in many magazines and was curious about trying them out. Much better fit and comfort than the Chuck T's and I would highly recommend if you like this type of old school shoe!

I had a pair of black converse that's pretty much worn out and I knew I had to get a new one. And I was glad I stumbled upon PF Flyers instead because the shoe is so adorable and comfortable.

I LOVE these shoes! I love Converse, but always found them so uncomfortable. These shoes were comfortable as soon as I put them on! They are not the best if you have to do a lot of walking, but they hold up pretty well!

WOW!! Like everyone has said, these shoes are way more comfortable and stylish than Converse. I thought they would run big like Converse but they don’t so after I had ordered the wrong size, Zappos overnighted the correct size with no extra shipping charges. Zappos is truly the best!!!

PF Flyers Rock! I have gotten many compliments on my new Flyers. Cool, retro styling, very comfy (comes with an insert for extra cushion and support). I find these tennies to be way more comfortable for me than my Converse Low Tops. You can wear these puppies all day and your feet are still in good shape. I would recommend these to anybody who just wants a pair of light, easy to put on, fun to wear shoe. And be prepared to talk about the shoes because people are going to notice.

Great sporty shoe - This shoe was hard to find! Almost everywhere was either sold out or on backorder...but not Zappos! This shoe is more comfortable than the similar looking Chuck Taylors. I thought the shoe ran a little large. After reading other reviews I ordered both a 9 (my usual size) and an 8 1/2 (which fit comfortably). The shipping was speedy, as always!

PF flyers Lo Re-Issue Review - I fell in love with these shoes when I was in 3rd grade. I just got my pair. The only difference worth mentioning is that they tend to run a half to full size smaller than what other shoes are sized at these days, and I also wish they came in a wider width. Usually I take a 6 1/2 in men’s and had to send them back for a 7. The toe length was pretty ok but still near the end and therefore the width near the toe was a little bit crampy. A wider 7 would fit me perfectly.
