Fun kicks at a great price. Here's the thing, they run huge. It seems that in the past, this model shoe didn't run quite so big. In fact, previous reviews said that they ran 'small'. Well, they don't. Buy these at least a 1/2 size smaller (maybe even a full size smaller). I wear a size 10 in most everything and am wearing these in a size 9.5. (which is even a bit large.) Gotta give 'em 4 stars...only because of the goofy sizing.

I love this shoe but am returning for a women's 9 which is my true size. Some reviews said they ran half a size big. I don't think so, but I do have a somewhat wide forefoot.

December 2012, Based on past reviews I ordered a size smaller and found that to be a mistake. I returned them and ordered my regular size and they fit great. Apparently the sizing issue has been remedied. Even though they are made in China I was surprised at how well they are put together. Initially they were a little stiff out of the box but with just one day on my feel they are breaking in just fine and I am happy with the purchase. Thanks Zappos

I have bought two pairs of these through Zappos. I love, love, love these shoes they are my every days. Comfy and the best. They do run about a .5 size larger. I wear a man's size 12 usually but with these I buy the 11.5 same goes for the checkered slip on shoes from Vans.just FYI.

Good looking retro sneaker. My son wears through sneakers w/in 6 weeks. these seem to be holding up better. The interior is smoother and somewhat more supportive than other similar brands. We got suede PF Flyers the last time, and the uppers busted through after the first week of wear.

These may be the best non-athletic sneakers I've ever owned. I have notoriously hard to fit feet, with high arches and a high instep and these have been really great to me the past month. Personally I like the slightly low frame of the shoe, because it prevents that rubbing/chafing on the back of your heels that comes with other shoes. You do have to tie your shoelaces a bit tighter to make sure your feet don't come out, but that's negligible. I bought these right before a trip to NYC and they were really comfortable and supportive throughout my walking all around the city. Finally, they're super cute and not clunky looking. I'm very hard to please, but I really recommend these. I run between a 7.5 and an 8 with slightly wide feet, and an 8 fits me perfectly. They're fairly true to size.

I remember wearing this brand of shoe (I think) back in the late 60's when it was advertised that you can 'run faster and jump higher'. These shoes are my go to shoe because I can walk for miles in them feeling like I am walking on a cloud. I don't care about running or jumping... they look great and feel wonderful! I bought a pair for my 11 year old for her school shoes and she loves them, too. You cannot go wrong with this shoe!

I got these for myself and sent by the women's size listed, and they are pretty big. I normally wear a 7 in close-toed shoes since my feet a little wide, but I'm guessing since these are men's shoes they are a bit wider anyway, and I could easily have fit into a women's 6. They're very comfy otherwise!

If you like Converse, you'll love PF Flyers. They are extremely comfortable with great arch support. They are also a sturdy shoe that keep well. I always used to buy my son Converse for school (they have to wear all black sneakers with their uniform)and sound that I was buying 2 in the school year. I owned PF Flyers so I had him try on a pair. He was in heaven with how cushiony they were inside, and I was impressed that they lasted him throughout the whole school year, including the summer! Great shoes!

Sweet. Much sturdier shoe than I was expecting, yet still light. Much better than its Vans low ankle counterpart. I own both, and always grab the Flyers.
