This is terrific stuff. I live in a very hot, humid climate and and I do not like to wear much makeup. I also have very sensitive skin and allergies and this is actually soothing to my skin. The primer creates a beautiful smooth silky base and keeps my shiny forehead from becoming too alarming. It is colorless and very fresh feeling going on. It reduces shine without changing the color of my skin. Most days I wear it without makeup, but it also works beautifully under my powder foundation. I have both formulas, and use the formula for dry skin during the day and I don't have to apply moisturizer, just a spritz of Lather Rosewater. You don't need much product either, so it is actually very economical despite the higher price point. Will buy this again...I love you Zappos!

OK I have to admit I am a make-up junkie and have tried pretty much every face primer out there because I have super large pores from having acne as a teenager and still get it in my 30's! Anyway, this stuff is the bomb! Goes on smooth, not sticky, nor greasy like many primers. Perfect for my oily skin. And it does indeed prime the skin perfectly! And it lasts! Through humidity and all! My face wasn't shiny after a night out like many primers do to me. I love this stuff!

I have used Paula Dorf products for years. When the local cosmetics stores stopped carrying her products I tried every top formula all the way to low level formulas and have never found a primer this good.

This is a great primer, it does not hide blemishes or even skin tone but I needed it to control my oily skin. It lasts all day and keeps my skin looking fresh and clean. The only thing I do not love is that it is kind of shimmery.
