This moc does not have the support the higher Old Friend outdoor slipper has. As all Old Friend slippers, the sole is not as durable as the rest of the slipper for outdoor wear and they could improve on that.

Old Friend's Loafer - Thanks for allowing me to express my opinion on the Old Friend's Loafer moc for women. I just recently purchased my second pair of them and wanted to let you know how wonderful they are. I wear them all the time inside and out. In fact I have even worn them to shovel snow as the traction on the bottom of the shoe is wonderful. I can't say enough about these slippers and expect my mother to have similar comments since I purchased a pair for her this Christmas.

Love them - At first I was deciding between theses loafers or the other pair of Old Friend loafers without a hard sole. I decided to go with these and I am very happy I did. They are extremely comfortable, and warm, and I can wear them outside. I ordered my size and they fit well(they don't run small). I'm planning on buying another pair for my mom because she keeps wearing mine!

Best slippers ever! I ordered them for a hospital stay in January and haven't taken them off since. Love them, love Zappos. Zappos is a godsend for us size 12 women out there. Their shipping and service are not to be beat. Thanks Zappos!

Why would they discontinue this style? I've bought a total of four pair of these slippers from Zappos.com so obviously I've found them to be very comfy. My only complaint would be that the sole wears out long before the shoe itself. However, since Zappos.com sent me a message saying they were being discontinued, I picked up another pair. I'm still enjoying the 2nd pair so have two spares on hand. I even enjoy them in the summer!

Old Friend, Indeed - This is my second pair of Old Friend's Loafers. I heard that they were being discontinued and wanted another pair on hand. The one I currently own are like new and I wear them with great frequency.......both indoors and outdoors. Even if I walk through wet grass they dry with no stain marks. Best all around shoe that I found.

My husband's slippers - I bought 2 pairs for my husband who has a small foot. These are his 3rd (and 4th) pair. He loves them and wears them daily. The inside fleece is incredibly soft. Love Zappos service and shipping!

MOST COMFORTABLE, SOFT SLIPPER/LOVE IT- I love this slipper. It's so soft inside and really, really comfortable. You can wear it outside, infact, I wear it just like a loafer. I wore this slipper when I had a piece of glass in my heel, it was the only possible thing I could wear on my foot. You have heard the saying: Buy it, you'll like it? This is better, YOU'LL LOVE IT.

Best slippers- These are perfect for cold winter days and nights. Not too hot, not scratchy inside, and are kind of cute. At first, they seemed too short, but you can easily adjust to length of your foot by loosening the tie. I really like these slippers.

Great moccasins- These are comfortable, yet durable enough to wear outdoors... quickly to let the dogs out, bring trash out, etc. The only problem I had is the size was large. I have a different pair of old friend slippers and I wore a size 7, the 7's were so big I exchanged for a size 6. But my sister kept the 7's so it worked out fine.

Great slippers - These slippers were great. I wear a size 8 1/2 and ordered a size 8. I also have wide feet. They fit like a glove. Very comfortable. I am having trouble with the sole of my foot and had to put an insert in them because they didn't seem to have enough cushion. I wear them constantly when I am at home.

My favorite shoes - These are the most comfortable shoes I own now. I wear them around the house and outside, even in the rain. The hard bottom makes them perfect for wear anywhere. The fleece lining loses some of its fluff over time, but it stays warm and soft. Also, the lining does make the shoe feel about a half size smaller than it is. I would definitely recommend them as great shoes and slippers.
