Minnetonka Silverthorne Thong SKU #110142(View on Zappos.com Classic)

I love these sandals! The minute I tried them on I knew they were keepers. Not only are they very stylish, but they are comfortable. I wouldn't say they have the greatest arch support, but the footbed is so soft and comfortable that my foot has settled in nicely. My feet have issues, but with these sandals they feel no pain. When I'm in a hurry to get out the door, these sandals are the first I slip into. I've also had many compliments from them, which is always a plus.

this is a different sole than the other Minnetonka sandals - The other sandals I've had from Minnetonka have a more styled sole than this sandal has. The make of this sandal is the base is narrower in the ball of the foot. The sandal is pretty enough but I will only buy the other type of sole they make, which I love.

I **LOVE** this shoe! I must love it, as I've had at least 4 pair (in 2 different colors) over the past few years. They're cute as heck (and I've received COUNTLESS compliments on them) and extremely comfortable (as long as you order a 1/2 size larger than you normally wear) but over the years, I've noticed 2 rather significant problems with them...1) I have a narrow foot so I always order AA width (which thank GOD they offer - so few companies offer Narrow - so Kudos to them for even making them slim) but Minnetonka's Narrow is still a smidge wider than say a Naturalizer Narrow. They fit fine for the most part, but I have tripped up stairs over the years (usually when I'm in a hurry) and I've noticed that always has something to do with the width issue. If you have an INSANELY NARROW FOOT, this shoe probably won't work for you. 2) After a good summer of wear (sporting them 4-5 times a week), the inside foot bed starts to crack. Once that happens, it hurts like crazy to walk on, so the shoes have to be pitched. If they were more expensive, I would probably choose a different 'favorite style', but the price range isn't so bad - as long as you realize you'll probably need to replace them by next year. I'd love to give this shoe 5 stars all-around because it really is my 'fav', but because of the footbed-cracking-issue, I just can't. Sorry, Minnetonka!

This is a very cute thong, but I strongly agree with the other reviewers who suggest going up a size. I usually wear either an 8 1/2 or 9 in shoes. I first ordered the 9 in this thong and it was too small. I reordered another pair in size 10 and it fits great. Having never owned a pair of 9 1/2 shoes, let alone a TEN (!), I was surprised that this was the correct size for me. This thong is cute, extremely comfortable, and reasonably priced. They don't need any breaking in period which is a definite plus in my book.

Love the Silverthorne thong. Unlike many thong sandals this one didn't need breaking in to be comfortable. The Silverthorne looks nice on the feet, and the slight heel gives it more style than a flat, without sacrificing comfort. My normal shoe size is a 7 1/2 and I found the size 8 in the Silverthorn to be a perfect fit. I highly recommend this sandal.

Comfy Sandal - I am so glad I took the advice of other reviewers and went up a size. Usually in a sandal I am a size 6, but in this style I ordered the 7 and my foot is right at the end of the shoe. I got the dark brown, and I love them! Very cushy. Zappos is the only place I buy shoes now and as always, they did a fantastic job!

Total comfort - These thongs are quite comfortable. You hardly know you’re wearing them.

Great sandals! I love the dressiness of this casual sandal. People ask me if it is a much more expensive Brighton sandal and I know I got a bargain. I live in these sandals all summer. They have such a thick, comfortable padding that gives good support.

They seemed a little shorter than most size 7 sandals in the length; however, after you wear them a few times they fit pretty good.
