Mavi Jeans Reviews
These are cute and comfy, but too short! I'm 5'9" and 125lbs and the 34" inseam is just not quite long enough - I wish they came in a 35" or 36"! Sadly these must go back.

These are nice true to size jeans and good compromise for those who agree that skinny jeans are an unfortunate trend for men. Caveat, that having owned several pairs, these are not made from the most durable denim...lighter basis weight fabric and pre-washing are likely cause. So be willing to trade durability for comfort.

Love them! Fit great through waist and hip, not too low rise for this mom! :) Color is great, I ordered the longest they had,and it is perfect then with heels! I was nervous spending this much without trying, but worth every penny!

I've finally found a pair of jeans I'm happy with! I'm 5' 6", 155 lb, with a waist, an ample butt and muscular thighs, but not much hip to speak of. Because of the waist and butt, "curvy" fits work best to prevent gapping, but sometimes I get balloon-y hips. Not so here. The jeans fit well through the waist, butt, and thighs with minimal gappage. Like, a few millimeters' worth (I'll take it)! Also, I've noticed that a lot of jeans nowadays have back pockets that ride far too low, sometimes creasing below the butt. Uncool! Again, not here. Also, I was so glad to find bootcuts in the land of skinny jeans aplenty. I bought these in the 30" inseam, and they're perfect for Converses or flats. The Bloomsbury color is dark and sophisticated. The whiskering is subtle and flattering. I also noticed that the waistband is very...sturdy. Like strong, true denim. In fact, I should probably note that these jeans actually feel a bit unstretchy. I did some research on "eme," part of the fabric composition along with cotton. Turns out that eme is a synthetic fabric related to polyester that provides some stretch, as an alternative to the oft-present lycra/spandex in jeans. I imagine that these will take a few hours of wear to break them in a little. But frankly, I'm glad to be wearing jeans that feel sturdy and structured -- more like the jeans of old -- than ones with lycra/spandex that feel stretchy and comfy but get baggy in a matter of hours. Thank you, Zappos, for the super-fast shipping!

I love them! Perfect fit for a shorter girl. I'm 5'2 about a size 10 (I bought a 31 in Mavi size) These are super comfy, don't stretch, look great on. I purchased the length in 30 which is hard to find when you are short. They still are plenty long with a 2 inch heel.

I love these jeans! I'm curvy on the bottom, with muscular thighs and wider hips, and these fit me so well. They are very flattering and not cut too low or too high. They look trendy without being too tight or low cut. I wish the color was a little bit darker, but it still looks nice. I'd highly recommend these to anyone looking for a modern, flattering fit in a dark wash (especially women with some curves).

I'm reluctant to spend this much on jeans even if they are "premium denim," so these cheaper jeans were a stretch for me. That said though, they fit great on my size 6 - 8 pear shaped body, and the vertical striations in the fabric are slimming. An added bonus is that although I'm only of average height (5'5.5"), I'm able to wear these jeans with higher type shoes (Dansko clogs) without hemming. Also, they don't seem to stretch out as much as other "non-premium" jeans and the waist fits reasonably well with a belt -- not too tight, not too loose, and not prohibitively low cut. Overall, they provide a higher end look for about $90. I guess that's not too bad in the world of denim these days.

These jeans are amazing and they are now one of my favorite pairs. They are super comfy and they don't gap in the waist!

I have an old pair of Mavi jeans named Zoe and I have never been able to replace them. These are close. They come up high enough on the hips that I don't feel like a teenager with a muffin top. I got the short length and they are perfect. I love the stretch and fit of these jeans.

The Mavi jeans are great! My size is very hard to find, Zappos to the rescue. The ordering process is as simple as it gets. Thanks Zappos!

I used to be a big fan of Mavi Jeans and after many years of choosing different brands, I came back. The quality is great, the color is perfect, the mid-rise is just right (not too high, not too low), but the cut of the thighs was a little baggy. I'm 5'6" and 130 lbs. I didn't notice the baggy thigh issue until a few weeks after wearing them. Now, the back of the thigh area sags and looks like I'm wearing jeans that are too big. Not sure if this is an issue with the pair I got or if this is how the cut is but I've never had a problem like this previously. The regular length is great with heels, but if I'm looking to wear a flat and these are a no-go. The short length is about a 1/2 to an inch too short for me and the regular is about an inch too long. Not sure if I'll be ordering again...

Great pants for the pear shaped. Nice color to wear out or to work on casual days. These are made for flats though. I am 5'7 and I would not be able to wear heels with these. They run one size larger than you normally wear. I bought another pair one size smaller and fit great. No gapping in the back.

Love these jeans, it's a nice wash. I have always had good luck with Mavi in the past for quality in the past but then they changed all their cuts, these ones fit again. This is a flattering and modest cut, it is definitely a higher waist than most of their items.

Fabulous fit with stylish look. I am petite, but pear shaped and these are nicely fitted at the waist, but fit around the hips perfectly!

These jeans are amazing. The pockets of these jeans (rear pockets) are actually in the "correct" position to give the illusion of lift. They are incredibly comfy and have a bit of stretch so I would consider a size down if you are one of those people are are between sizes. I ordered a size two. I wear a 2 or a 4 depending on the fit/cut and the size 2 were perfect and kept their shape all day. The boot cut is very flattering and made my legs look longer and thinner than they are. I own jeans that are twice this price and these fit and feel much better. They are my new favorite jeans.

Finally found the perfect pair of white skinnies I have been searching for! Great, comfy fit. Only con is they do stretch out after long wear. Great quality and thick enough you don't have that dreadful panty line. I recommend. Great for the price!

I love these white jeans. I have a white bootcut from another company, but wanted a skinny and these fit the bill. I am a solid 26 (2) in every brand, except Mavi! In Mavi i have to go up one size, so I do recommend this. The best part about these jeans is the size of the pockets and their placement, very flattering to the rear!

I love these jeans! I love the color - I just purchased my second pair from Zappos today so that I have an extra in case they stop carrying them. I am 5'3 and have a small waist but larger hips/thighs. It is hard for me to find jeans that do not have the huge gap in the back of the waist. These jeans are so flattering! I suggest going a size down in these jeans because they do stretch out after wearing for a few hours and tend to look baggy and sloppy in the back.

Great fit! I love these jeans! Rise not to low or too high (about 2 fingers below my belly button). Hugs the curves perfectly. My husband says they make my butt look 'hot'. Comfortable too and they stay put. FYI, I am about 5'8, 140lbs, have a 30 inch waist, and 38 inch hips.
