These boots are great--typical La Canadienne comfort and quality. They look good with jeans but especially cute with dresses. Don't be put off by the heel. The height makes the boot look sleeker and more flattering than an Ugg or similar boot.

This is a great boot. I ordered half a size larger, as they were out of my size, and as the first reviewer mentioned, they fit perfectly. I had to send the first back however as the first pair arrived scuffed and damaged. Zappos customer service was very professional and handled the exchange with incredible speed. La Canadienne is a well made brand and Zappos is a well run business.
Brands I'd also recommend: You can't go wrong with La Canadienne!

Amazing boots! Slim looking on my calves, comfortable, and really warm. I wear a 9.5 in shoes and ordered the same in these boots (10 not available). I can wear a warm but not bulky sock in them without any problem.
