I have had at least one pair of La Canadiennes in my closet for years - usually one short pair and one tall. I love that they are comfortable, durable, waterproof, warm, and stylish. I have never regretted investing in them. When I saw that these were on sale, I couldn't resist. Now I have two short and one tall. But only one red [rationalization]. These were comfortable and wearable from day one. I have narrow ankles, so I didn't have the issues with tightness around the ankle that a couple of other reviewers mentioned. I also don't have arch issues, so I can't speak to that.

Got these boots in the Cherry Crinkle leather. They are adorable and surprisingly comfortable. The color is more versatile than you might imagine, and brightens up a drab outfit instantly. Have gotten tons of compliments on them, and have only been wearing them for a week. Grabbed them at the sale price. They were pricey, but worth it if you wear boots a lot in the winter. Great with slacks. Perfectly sized heel. Great boots!

These shoes are as comfortable as they are stylish. They're a deep lovely red patent leather, comfortable for walking long distances and standing a lot, and can be worn in horrendous winter weather. They're even more comfortable than my older La Canadienne boots, which is really saying something. However, the ankles seemed tight when I first tried them on, and I've got pretty small ankles. They stretched out quite a bit after wearing, so if they seem a bit tight, you might want to try wearing them around a bit indoors before deciding whether they're too tight.

I bought these boots in Cherry Crinkle. So stylish, classy, well-made and comfortable! I have a fairly wide foot and found these to be just perfect!

Great boot! Pretty as could be! Comfortable, stylish and great for wearing with leggings. I'm tall and I was looking for a boot that covers any space between the legging and the ankle. These are high enough to do that. Nice for casual/dress.
