These are very good, sexy sandals that fall somewhere in between dressy and casual. Although they are slightly too wide (and my feet are not narrow, they are average).
Love these sandals! I wanted a gray pair of sandals, and the color of these is perfect and not too dark gray and not too shiny silver. They are very comfortable for all-day wear, and the heel is a nice height. I have bunions, and the straps fall in just the right place so there is no pressure anywhere. I get compliments every time I wear them and have referred women to Zappos.com if they want a pair of their own. Fabulous shoes! I have 4 other pair of Donald J. Pliner, including boots, and all are both comfortable and high-quality craftsmanship and well worth the price tag.

The most comfortable. Love these shoes. They are sexy, but like wearing slippers.
These shoes are awesome, and I\'m really bummed that the 6.5 is a little too small for me...no 7 available. They are as comfortable as they are beautiful and would go with everything. Great for a narrow foot and in my opinion they run slightly small.
This is the sexiest shoe I have. I work out back of a restaurant as a waitress and wear these whenever I know I'm going to get some big tips. They are comfy, stylish, and you don't even need to wear shorts/pants/skirt, just like bikini bottoms, and a top. They are flexible and will go with anything. What's even better is the guy I'm dating loves me to wear these late at night. I swear these boots have made me so much money. Definitely, a must buy!
Do not buy this shoe; it wears in no time. Great shoe but it is the worst wearing shoe I have ever bought. It wears out so quick.
I bought these cool boots for out trips to Colorado each year. I have not worn them yet but will cant wait to wear them this winter. they look great!
Beautiful leathers, superior craftsmanship and so very comfortable! The lettering is very subtle and discreet which I love.
I love these! They are comfortable and balanced. Of course they are made well. The color is a little lighter than the picture. I wear a 5.5, but the 6 still feels good. I can tell I will wear these boots a lot!
Gorgeous shoes that are a bit greener in person than in the photo. I returned them, however, because they were small.
Ugly in person. Looks like something my grandmother would wear. These are also very expensive. They look like they'd be on the cheap side. No bueno, gals!
This is a beautiful shoe -- even better than it appears in the photo. Unfortunately, I had to return mine because it was very uncomfortable. The binding around the top of the shoe bit into my heel in both a 7 and a 7.5. I wanted the shoe badly and tried to make it feel good, but no use. There is a very comfortable padded innersole in the shoe with arch support.
The Pliner shoe is probably the only shoe that has given me a consistent fit -- a 9 has always been a 9. Although a bit pricey, they have always been a comfortable and favored shoe for me. The Nona, however, falls short a bit. The length and width are great, but the elastic band in the back quickly pushes my foot through the front of the shoe, where the bottom strap begins to cut into the sides of my feet. I think these are really cute shoes, but I don't know what I can do, at this point, about keeping my foot from sliding forward.
Class with comfort: That is Donald J Pliner's Jamila western boot. I have several pair of Pliner's western boots and wear them all day in total comfort. Pliner's boots top all other brands I have tried. Pliner's boots fit true to size. Don't be overwhelmed by the out-pouring of compliments you'll receive! Be ready! Donald J. Pliner's boots are eye-catchers!
Bought these shoes years ago for work, lived in them! Bought them again here in brown and black! Comfort, quality leather, they stretch if you have a bunion or bone issue, and you can wear them with tights and a skirt, or gives height with pants or a suit. Great shoe, highly recommended, lasts for years.
These shoes were perfect! Have sore feet. I wanted something a little fun, yet comfortable for a wedding. There is a bit of a cushion and arch. They stay on pretty well for backless shoes. Love them.
Please don't let the price stop you -- these have to be the most comfortable, flattering sandals I have ever purchased! The first time I wore these was in New York City. I walked from our hotel (West 53rd and 6th) to and through Times Square, and not one of the little piggies squealed at all! They are beautifully dressy, and yet look wonderful with jeans -- skinny or bootcut. I will never be afraid to pay the price for a pair of DP shoes again. They are worth every cent!
I have loved these shoes for as long as Donald has made them starting in New York years ago. I have them in Navy, dark brown (fab color) and dark real French navy. And now, I am truly sad to say they seem to have stopped making them. Tragically for my poor sore feet. These are the only dress shoes I can wear with any comfort at all. If they are truly gone, anyone have any ideas about alternatives. DONALD< Je Suis Desole! You are abandoning comfort for wild style and young styles with too many straps, and high, high heels. Remember comfort, darlings. These have been my fall back shoes for years; when nothing else felt good, these worked! Not only do women with problem feet need these, practical women who walk and do not wear crazy high heels are going to be as sad as I, please rethink!
Bought these in rust, which is very subtle and acts as a highlight to the neutral gray-blue. Despite the beautiful coloring and elegant style, I had to return these sandals because I couldn't even get them on. My feet are size 11 and a tad wider than average. Given that I own two other Pliner sandals, the narrowness of these was a real disappointment.
