I stand for 12 hours a day, so bought these shoes for the arch support. They have excellent support and my feet don't get tired. However, my toes kill me. Because there is a heel, my feet slide downward into the toe box, which is hard as a rock. The top of the shoe also fits very tightly. If I wear them 2 days in a row, I will have bruises on the tops of my feet.

Comfy - Shoes fit true to size, are comfy and look great with jeans. I'm a fan of Dansko, and these shoes didn't disappoint!

Good, but squeaky! The shoes are really comfortable and look great, but they're quite embarrassing walking around in them as one of them squeaks every time I lift my foot. Strange and embarrassing... otherwise, they're fine.

Great shoe - Bought the shoe because of plantar fasciitis, and they have been wonderful for that, plus they are just really comfortable shoes.

Perfect but got a lemon - I like Danskos for their comfortable height. May not be the most stylish shoes in my closet, but they're the most worn. Phoebe fit perfectly, but I got a defective lump on the top of the left toe and unfortunately Brown is no longer offered. Sniff...

It's what you expect from Dansko - These shoes are an upgrade from the Professional clog. They have the same foot bed and arch support, but the addition of elastic allows for even more comfort as the shoe moves with your foot. The only complaint that I have is that they scuff way too easily. The leather is extremely soft, but so much so that the slightest rub against anything leaves them visibly scuffed. Nothing a little polish can't fix, but somewhat annoying.

Trusty dansko - The nice thing about dansko, you find a size that fits and it works right every time. This is my third pair of dankso shoes and I love them like they were my first. These are more casual than most... but the flexibility of the elastic makes them so comfy. Would definitely recommend to others.

This shoe looks great, but is extremely uncomfortable. Even after taking out the liner and adding my own, and then adding in heel liners, this shoe is still so uncomfortable that I can't wear it for more than a few minutes. Socks don't help...nothing does. The leather is too stiff.

Hoping for the best... Much like other posters, I love Danskos. I've finally decided to replace my well-worn professional clogs. I was excited for the Phoebe because of the elastic goring, as the original clogs were slightly tight over the top of my foot - especially after 14 hours on my feet all day! The new pair was comfortable with solid arch support and the top of my foot wasn't suffocated. The only problem was, on day four of wear, the seam atop the left upper SPLIT apart and ran nearly from my little toe to the goring! I didn't want to believe what other reviewers mentioned about the slippage in workmanship in recent years (my last pair is 4 years old). As always, Zappos customer service has been fantastic, and I am anxiously awaiting my replacement pair. I hope these are sturdier and I can go on wearing my Danskos, worry-free!

Best Investment for You! These shoes are the best investment I've made for ME! I can be on my feet all day now. When your feet hurt, everything else hurts. These shoes can revive you and let you be on your feet all day.

Dansko phoebe - This is just the shoe I was looking for- comfortable for standing all day, Only problem is size 39 is a little big but 38 seems tight after being on my feet for 10-12 hours. Price was the best I could find.

I love Danskos - I have been diagnosed with plantar fasciitis (sore heel bottom) but the orthotics no longer helped. My daughter has the same problem and was advised to try Dansko. They are great.

The perfect Dansko for me! Dansko is the only shoe that allows me to be pain-free on my feet all day! The Phoebe style is best for me...the professional oiled style with the rolled band would create pressure on the top of my foot, but the Phoebe has an elastic insert that gives a little bit when I move! It is the most comfortable style I've tried! Love it!!! I hope you keep this style in stock! Zappos is the best online store I have ever used! FAST! Great customer service! Great New Look for Clogs - I have several pairs of Dansko clogs over the past several years and finally needed to replace my black ones. I really like the details of Phoebe style. My only complaint is that they squeak - I have not had this issue with other Dansko shoes.

Waiting for final opinion - I chose this style because it was advertised as designed for people with high insteps. I have very high insteps and now have a blister from the shoe - but am hopeful that as the shoes break in they will work for me. Otherwise...I wish they'd add more/stretchier elastic.
