I bought these because I wanted something different from the square-toed look. I wear them to work every day now, and even though I have to walk through a semi-dangerous neighborhood, I don\'t get bothered anymore. Is it because people think I\'m an off-duty cop? Oh, well, they\'re cool, light and comfortable, so who cares?
Brands I'd also recommend: Florsheim, Corcoran

I have had many pair of Bates Lites for work and they last quite a while before the soles wear down. They are very comfortable and are very light. And as usual, Zappos service is second to none!

Excellent service...I ordered the shoes on Thursday and on Tuesday morning they were are my doorstep. The shoes are worth every penny.

These are great shoes. I wore them around the house for a couple of hours to break them in. I bought these because I didn't want to rent shoes with a tux. I can use them a few times a year. My UPS driver tells me he delivers a lot of product from Zappos.
