The Aravon Katy shoes feel great. They are very comfortable with great arch support. I have not had any problems with my heel pain wearing these sandals. The color (bronze) is also very cool and I have received lots of compliments. The only problem is that one of the shoes squeaks when I walk. It is very annoying when it is quiet otherwise.

Along with needing a wide shoe, I have several other foot issues so shoes have always been difficult to buy. I purchased several pairs of sandals in various widths and these were like comfy, broken in shoes the minute I put them on. The thicker sole makes walking in them very, very comfortable. (I practically live in heavy duty walking shoes, but that is not always appropriate footwear)! The adjustable straps make them easy to tighten or loosen where needed. Will consider another pair in different color. Just wish they weren't quite so pricey.

This shoe had to be great, was made with help from New Balance which makes the best walking shoes, thanks NB for coming up with this shoe, sure wish Zappos had more colors, I ordered the bronze but would like to have the tan. I have a very bad back and my legs hurt but these shoes help my back so my legs do not hurt as bad.

Brands I'd also recommend: Some of the Clarks but most of them have too high of heel for someone with back problems.

I LOVE these shoes -- they are comparable to wearing sneakers all day in terms of support and comfort. A day at the zoo or walking around sightseeing is just as comfortable as in athletic shoes - but with style!

I have back, leg and foot problems; this is the best sandal I have found. I wear New Balance all the time, sure was happy to locate this shoe and that it was engineered by NB.

Brands I'd also recommend: Anything made with the New Balance name.

The Katy shoe in bronze are great looking. I also have these in black and they are both very comfortable. The only problem is that they squeak! Otherwise they are a great shoe and very good for problem feet. Zappos surprised me and sent them overnight. Thank you for the excellent service!

This sandal has great support and is very comfortable but I was disappointed because I bought it for a sandal to wear when traveling and doing a lot of walking and when it is hot out the strap rubs on the top of my foot. I was hoping as they got broken in that it wouldn\'t happen any more, but it continues to be a problem. They are great if I am wearing them indoors in air conditioning or on a day when it isn\'t hot, but they don\'t serve the purpose for which I bought them.

I was having foot& problems, could hardly walk. I needed a sandal with good support. That would have been very hard to find in a 13 narrow but I went on line and had my shoe ordered in short time and it was delivered in exactly 26 hours from the time I ordered it. On top of that it was the comfortable shoe I needed. The fit, quality and service is AAAAA.

These sandals are exceptionally comfortable. The straps are adjustable. The sole beds are removable, if you use custom inserts. However, the removable sole beds that come with the sandals are very supportive as well. I originally purchased a pair in bronze, my preferred color. I decided to purchase black as well, because of the superior comfort, although stylistically they are not as good as the bronze color.

I bought my first pair of Aravon Katys for summer and wore them as my everyday walking shoe. They are great for travel because of the wonderful supportand they look feminine. I have gotten the black ones to use for winter and will likely wear them with socks so I can continue to have the comfort and support.\r\nLike others who have reviewed these shoes, I found the squeeking to be bothersome but finally learned to remove the insole and spray the underside with WD-40. Part of the secret to the shoes comfort seems to be the combination of pieces in the insole, but they do rub against each other. Putting WD-40 between the sections took care of the squeek!

I\'ve newly discovered this brand and love it. This sandal allows the foot to sit down inside of the cupped footbed and provides great arch support. It\'s waiting in my closet for next summer.
