Unable to wear shoes because the new design rubs On my feet causing sores. I have a pair of original design shoes and have no problems.

I am so disappointed in my new Classic Sandals from Dr Scholl's. I miss the wooden sole which had a certain weight to them. Where's the dip and toe ridge which gave a more comfortable fit? Why is there Velcro which makes the appearance look cheap instead of the actual functioning buckle? Why mess with perfection when the original Exersoles were perfect?

Initially I ordered 9 M but they were bigger than my foot size so I exchanged to 8 M assuming these will fit but no 8M is sane as 9M but the box indicates 8 M so I do not know why 9 M snd 8 M have the same length and same width. I do not think that I can drive with them at all, only ride with someone while wearing these sandals

I just brought a pair of the floral pair and these sandals are very exact I wear a size 9 had to exchange them for a 10 and they were exact. If you wear a size 9 and plan on buying these sandals you may need to get a size 11. I was very disappointed since I wore these sandals in different colors as a young teen.

Very awkward in comparison to the old originals. I did not feel safe walking in them.

They are great for my heel pain, otherwise they are just ok, rather unattractive.

Not wonderful for me. I was looking for a lighter weight original Dr. Scholl's; these indeed are lighter weight, but they also have a good deal of give in the sole; rather squishy. Someone else might like that, but I wanted the firmness of wood. Something I don't think anyone would like is the texture of the strap. It's an un-gentle plastic that bites into the skin. I returned them.

Pretty shoes but strap is a bother and causes blisters. Painful to wait due to the strap being unlike past models.

I was disappointed that the shoes are not like the Dr Scholl's Original Exercise Sandals from the '70 & '80's. The shoes I brought do not have the same grips for the toes and arch as I remember how the were. These seam flatter.

I have been wearing Dr. Scholl’s sandals forever, first the wooden soles, then the new flexible ones. I bought these thinking they were the new flexible ones I had loved, just in a cool color. They are cheap, cheap, cheap. Flimsy sole. The part that looks like a buckle is just for show - it actually closes with Velcro. The rivets started coming out, and they’re not even that comfy. I’m so disappointed that Dr. Scholl’s has cheaped out.

I was very disappointed to discover that the base of these shoes is made from rubber and not from wood like the original Dr. Scholl's. That is why I am sending them back.

I shouldn't have expected this to be the same thing I remember from 30 years ago. I should have known better. The whole footbed is plastic now not wood. the strap on the top is velcro closure, which sticks to my pants-hem, like the old buckle didn't. The plastic footbed bends in a weird way when i take a step. I'm really not into these at all. They were so much better when they were wood and you could buy them for $10-15 in the supermarket.

I have work Dr. Scholl's for years. The strap on the model I received adjusts with velcro - not with the buckle as I expected and as has always been the case in the past. The velcro was a disappointing downgrade...

Over the years, I have owned several pairs of this basic one strap sandal style with various footbed materials. This model, however, was not the same as the others--there is no toe bar or arch bump, and the shape of the toe is not as round as other models, so it won't work for my foot shape. The actual strap (cut-out black leather) I liked a lot, but not the shiny gold colored buckle. If the footbed was what I was expecting, I would have kept them and painted the buckle, but sadly, I was disappointed and will be returning them.

I purchased my first pair of Dr. Scholls in the 1970s. Loved them...wore them all the time until they finally wore out sometime in the mid 90s. Life goes on with children and marriages, when you're too busy to think about yourself. Recently, I decided to reward myself with a new pair. Went online; found the shoe; ordered. To my surprise and extreme disappointment, they are not the shoe I remember. Soles are foam-based, not wood. Straps are velcro, not slide-and-clasp. Wanted to return, but decided it would be too much trouble to return. Upon further investigating, learned that I can order the wooden shoe for much, much more money. Bottom line, I wished the description on the website had made it clearer that this was a foam sole, and that this shoe was not the original design. Having said that, I take responsibility for perhaps misinterpreting the information, or not just purchasing them at a store where I could have seen for myself. Lesson learned.

Too loose. Velcro cloudier does not allow you to tighten the shoes enough. Constantly walk out of them. Cute for sitting around in.

Very disappointed. I thought they would have been exactly like the ones I had as a kid and loved. They just resemble them they do not have the comfort felt just under your toes.
