I was very disappointed because last year's Ultraventure 3 fit perfect! It also had more cushioning. This new one #4 runs wider in the toe box and throughout the shoe. The Ultaventure 3 was my favorite Topo shoe! So sad they changed it!! The only downside to the older model was that the heel wore out in just six months. The rest of the shoe was in perfect condition! I used them for walking three miles a day on pavement.

Great walking shoes, extra toe space with average heel width, great. Removable insoles.

I love these shoes! They have a roomy toe box, lots of cushioning and arch support, good traction, and fit snugly on my heels. I’m wearing them for neighborhood walks and hikes on well maintained trails. These are my first pair of Topos, but I’m already planning to buy a second pair in a different style for casual daily wear.

I have been running in version3 for couple of years. I wear a 9.5w. This version 4 is poorly made. The left and right don’t match! I have tried 3 pairs and there is obviously a manufacturing issue on this shoe. I think it’s the wide shoes since my friend has a 10.5 size M and hers look identical.

Fantastic shoes, especially if you have a narrow heel and foot but a very wide toe box or bunions. The zero drop feels great also! My feet are finally happy!!!

I loved the Ultraventure 3 and anxiously awaited version 4. Slight disappointment but not a bad shoe. The purple is subtle and nice looking. This version 4 feels a bit more structured than the v3, and beefier. When I tried them on, I thought they were awesome. I wear them, but I prefer the 3. The 3 had a better feel of the ground, not being beefy. The v4 reminds me of wearing the men’s v3. V4 is almost approaching hoka styling and fit, which doesn’t work for me. V4 also inflames that little bone on the side of the foot, on both feet, darned it. So, I hope the next iteration is more like the v3. The flexibility of that version, along with decent cushioning that still allowed for excellent ground feel was the cat’s meow. I might order a pair of men’s v4, just to try them out. I wear a women’s 8M street shoe, and an 8.5 in all topos. (a 7 in men’s)

So comfortable for my wide toe splay. This is a great shoe for people with low volume feet but wide toe areas.

I wear my custom orthotics in these and with those, the fit is excellent and supportive. I love the wider toe box but not huge in mid foot and heel. These fit me way better than Hoka which are just big all over. My feet are narrow, especially in the heels. The subdued purple is a great color!

Plenty of room in the toe box. Color is deep purple. Very happy with them!
