I wear 8.5 and never had to order wide but return the regular 8.5 and ordered the wide and they fit so much better. It was a little snug with the regular size and after reading some of the reviews they are right, the Bondi 9 is kinda narrow but if you order the wide they are perfect.

They are very pretty. White and gray combo are nice colors. I have high arch so shoe strings could sure be longer. I can't tie them with my feet and arch supports in the shoes. I will keep these and they will replace my W Cllifton 9W.

Great shoe just definitely not wide enough, and maybe too much arch?

First time buying Hokas. I tried the Clifton 9 and the Bondi 9. I love them both, but this one has a bit more arch support. I shouldn’t keep both at this price, but I probably will! I tell my feet they deserve it.

Love the extra width in the EE. Just what I needed for maximum comfort. I think I like the Bondi 9 even better than the old versions of Bondi - I might have to order another pair.

The Hoka Bondi 9 are just as good, if not better than the Bondi 8. Very comfortable to wear while working on concrete floors all day!

Have worn Hokas for years-- after having both hips replaced-- Hokas have been the BEST for comfort/support. But the Bondi 9s have a very narrow toe box-- which causes bunions-- and just overall too tight. Truly hurt my feet. Even after going up a 1/2 size.

Sorry to see the Bondi 8 replaced by a sneaker which doesn't have the wide toe box. The Gaviotta 5 is much more like the Bondi 8 than the Bondi 9.

These are BIG shoes, but they are comfy. Sole is squishy which I like too. The sole is very thick, so while I'm tall already, these make me really very tall. So far a very good sneaker!

I use my Hokas mainly for walking 4-5 miles per day. I have long been a Bondi 8 fan. I have received my Bondi 9 as a gift from my husband. They are beautiful and I have only worn them around the house so far. I guess you would say I am saving them for when my Bondi 8's wear out. They fit the same as Bondi 8 which is a big concern and the color is lovely. Thank you Hoka!

Love them so comfortable and no break in period. I found these to be more comfortable than the bondi 8. Can't wait for more colors to come out so I can get more. Love my Hoka shoes. Great for being on feet for long shifts

So far these are the worst of the Bondi "upgrades". I have a pair of Bondi 5 (or 6) , that I use for yard work, that are more "plush" than these. The hard high heel back was awful. The color was nice. I guess it's time to start looking for a new "plush" shoe.

I wanted to love these and planned to wear them for a three-week trip to Europe, but the tongue came very high up on my ankle and irritated my tendons. I tried tying the shoes many different ways and could eliminate the irritation on the right foot but not the left. I am sad to return my first pair of Hokas and to resume the hunt for cushiony shoes to wear on cobblestones.

Had to go a half size down and wide from what I normally wear. But these shoes are extremely supportive and make you feel like you’re running on clouds!

On a positive note, my 4'10" has reached new heights. I must be at least 5' tall again, having shrunk over the past 60 or more years. Thanks, Hoka. Not only are my new Hokas very attractive in the silvery hue, but they are comfy as well. Only problem is, they are too chic for me to wear often for fear of soiling them with every footstep. Besides this not as desirable aspect, I have an old-woman balance issue which is exaggerated by the rolling contour of the Clifton's soles.

My dog got a little dirt on them and it would not wipe off. I had to wash them and kept them spotless but something keeps causing a discoloration on them. I can't stop it. I also hate the fact that white on white is purple.

Luckily I stocked up on pretty Bondi 8 colors because there aren't any Bondi 9 colors that are appealing. What on earth happened? Ugh.

I've been using Bondi for many years- consistently replacing every 3-4 months until Bondi 8. The look of the shoe started becoming too over the top, but at least still comfortable. However, as soon as the 7s were re released, I returned to those. I decided to give the 9 a try and I was so disappointed. Why does Hoka feel the need to exaggerate an already chunky sneaker? Surely you can incorporate new technology without trying to look trendy. Besides the look, the comfort just isn't there for me. My knees and hips hurt after wearing them and while I feel secure when walking and running in the 7 and 8, I found myself constantly checking my balance with the 9. This might be a good shoe for others but it is a frustrated and discouraged no for me.

The Bondi 9 style change didn't work for my width needs. This 9D Hoka Bondi 9 is tighter than my Bondi 8 D sneakers. I tried this 9D on late in the day, when my feet are at their widest. A smidge too tight, and I can''t risk they'd get better on an upcoming long trip with lots of walking planned. I own Bondi 8's, size 8.5D and 9D and they fit great. Style changes are always iffy in my experience. YMMV
