Fit is great - Bondi 9 has less excess width so less bulky that Bondi 8.

I have purchased 4 pair of Bondi 8 shoes. Loved them. I just purchased the Bondi 9 and WOW!!!! I love them. They hug my feet and have fantastic cushion and support. I notice the difference after a long walk in that I still feel energized. Thanks so much HOKA!!!

True to size and great support.

They are comfortable and supportive. I am an elementary school teacher and on my feet all day. I love how they hug my ankle but don’t restrict my toes. The new design is great, this is my 2nd pair of the 9’s.

I got these for my wife and she loves them. The fit and appearance are excellent.

This Hoka Bondi 9 could stand to be a tad wider. I usually wear a 4E in another brand but I think it might end up ok - time and wear will tell. If it actually still comfortable after my walking routine and they are still not tight on my feet after they swell, I will be getting another pair.

The Bondi last fits my narrow foot!

The Bondi 9 comes up higher on the ankle area than the Bondi 8 and rubs against my ankle.

Had Bondis in 2020, reordered in 2023 and the style had changed. After reading recent reviews decided to try them again, and I now need wide, which was available. Happy to have the fit and cushioning and arch support I had with my old Bondis. Will order a second pair next month.

Very comfortable. Super cushioned and great for plantar fasciitis. The are a little clunky like nurse's shoes, but I love them!

Did not like color

I've owned Bondi 7 and 8 with no issues. Bondi 9 is a different story. Aesthetically they look better than Bondi 8. Bondi 8 look very wide. With that said, the Bondi 9 width is noticeably narrower (and I have narrow feet) to a point that the top of my foot started cramping and then ended up swelling. It took a few days for the pain to go away. The heel area is wide so my heels kept slipping out every time I took a step. I ordered 2 pairs but sent both back. I ordered another pair of Bondi 8 but I'm thinking of trying other models from HOKA since Bondi sneakers in general didn't provide much arch support for me.

Great shoe. Only wish Hoka had not removed the loop in the back to help you pull the shoe on

They put my feet to sleep - could not figure out why, but after an hour of having them on inside the house my feet were asleep and HURT

I'm always worried when they revamp a style that has worked for me but I actually like the bondi9. They are as good as the bondi8. Great support and work for feet issues like arthritis, bunions and hammertoe. Also like the fun color of lilac. My local store only carried the vanilla and black which didn't work for me.

These are very uncomfortable, I do not see how anyone thinks they’re comfortable in any way.

I like the shoea lot!

The shoes are very attractive and lightweight but I'm spoiled to step in shoes now and they are just far too hard to put on in a hurry

Very happy... I have several issues with my feet, these Hokas seem to address all of them, arthritis, neuromas, over pronation, and flat feet. At a recent podiatry visit I was told I am lacking fat pads in my feet (that must be the only place, lol) and I needed the extra cushion these would provide. I was hesitant at the cost, but they do work and are worth every penny. Seem to be helping with hip and back pain too. I wear an 8 Reg. in Reeboks, an 8.5 D in Saucony, an 8 wide in boots and went with size 8.5 wide in these. I hope that info helps you decide on your size. That said, Zappos is great with returns. I am 71 yrs old.

The fit was correct and one of the most comfortable and supportive shoes for walking.

My 2nd pair of Hoka Bondi’s. I got them for walking and weight training as they provide excellent support and are super comfortable. I have fully complete osteoarthritis in my right foot and these shoes keep my feet well supported. I wear a 7W so they look a bit like snowshoes across the top of my foot, but I overlook it for the benefits. I find this Bondi 9 is less wide looking than the Bondi.

Love these! Immediately comfortable when I walked in them, which says alot since my ankles and feet are absolute train wrecks! Real keepers

I've had several pairs of the Bondi 8 and would have purchased another pair, but they are not available. The Bondi 9 is just as good, if not better than the 8. The toe box is just as roomy, the shoes are light weight and the footbed cushioning is outstanding.
