Have been wearing Hokas for years and they really help my arthritic/bunion feet to walk easier. I'm enjoying the fit of the Bondi 9 a bit more than the Bondi 8. It seems to be a bit deeper and the tongue is longer which I prefer. I wear a wide and It does seem a bit narrower than I remember my last new pair being. I may have to switch to double wide. Love the color selection. My local store only had them in black or white.

I returned the regular width in exchange for the wide hoka bondi nine. The hoka 7 had a nice wide toe box and was a perfect fit. Had three pairs! The hoka bondi 9 is much narrower and the wide does not seem any wider in the toe box than the regular width. . May return. Wished Hoka would leave the width of the toe box alone. May go back to brooks! Really disappointed in the bondi 9.

This is my second pair of Hoka Bondis and it will not be my last. I especially like the light gray color which is so close to white you can hardly tell the difference.

I was not able to try the shoes because one of the insert was missing.. seems like that was returned item, and was sent to me without checking if it has everything in it.. very disappointing..

I loved hoka bondi 7, but the bondi 9 was too narrow. I returned it and ordered wide. The wide seems to be the same width around the toe box as the regular width. Don’t know if I’m going to keep. I wished they would keep the wide toe box, but the manufacturer has narrowed the bondi 9. Not happy with the results. May have to find a different brand.

Toe box has been changed. Lower and narrower toe box. No longer fit my feet.

Very uncomfortable, causes my Achilles tendons to feel like they are being ripped apart. Makes my feet feel extremely heavy and did really poor on a muddy trail. Rock poked a hole in the shoe ruining them. I know they are not rated for trail running but rocks on any day should not poke a hole in a shoe that is new.

Very comfortable, just right. Feels stable and helps balance (I'm a senior). Love them. Normally wear 41 in dansko sandals/shoes, 40 dansko clogs, 42 sanita clogs, 10 in Teva, 42 Hoka Bondi 9.

These shoes are so comfortable. Good arch support. Had my knee replaced recently and these shoes gave me the stability I was looking for when walking.

Love these shoes! They are sooo comfortable and I can walk all day without pain in the ball of my foot. They aren't the cheapest or most fashionable sneakers out there, but they're comfy as can be!

No more Hokas for me. Changed the toe box so now they don’t fit. Toe box is narrower and lower. Had to return and move onto another brand

I have a lot of trouble finding shoes. These work great so far.

Great! Very comfortable shoe

Long time Hoka Bondi fan here, so know that up front, these Bondi 9's are a HUGE update/ upgrade from the previous! Oh my goodness, these shoes provide significantly more cushioning and pure comfort! Frankly I never really noticed differences better the 6, the 7 or 8. These however are next level.

I absolutely love the Bondi 9’s. They have great support and cushion. I want to order a few pairs! Your back and feet will thank you.

Disappointed in the new design for Bondi 9. Have worn Bondi for 5 years. The heel change is very uncomfortable. Price has also increased. Have now moved to Brooks.

First of all, kudos to Zappos. They did a terrific job getting this to me in almost 24 hours, and I live in the hinterlands of the North Country! I ordered the size 10.5D wide that I also find comfortable in Hoka Challenger 7 which I have worn for two years. (I also purchased a while back from Zappos Hoka Bondi 8 in black size 11D. They were a bit large, but I kept them and wore them with thick socks.) This time I ordered this pair of Bondi 9 in white for my trip to Europe in the 10.5 wide (D). Sadly I had to send them back: they were way narrower and shorter in the toe than the Challenger 7 10.5 D and the Bondi 8, the toe box is smaller and comes to more of a point.

I was so disappointed with this shoe! Why did they change it? I love the Bondi 8, however the Bondi 9 is completely different. My toes and feet are sore after wearing them. I think it's because they cause me to walk differently, a very extreme rolling motion that places a lot of pressure on my toes and forefoot. An example of how changing something doesn't always make it better. I'm now stuck with a very expensive pair of shoes that I can't wear.

Big (negative) change from Bondi 8. Gone is the super plush comfort. There's less padding beneath the ball of your foot and instead of ultra cushioning, it's like walking on a firm air mattress. Nowhere near as comfortable.

What happened to the sizing? I wore a 7 wide in previous Bondi models but now both the wides and extra wides are far too narrow. Also, the 7s are too short and the 7.5s are nearly an inch too long. Really disappointed

I felt like I was walking on boats. 81/2W is my perfect size in the Bondi 7. These 9s are a bit too snug on the toes in my size. It was more difficult to balance. I tried an 81/2 XW for my toes but they were huge. I might try an 8 but it could be that the cut of the sneaker is off for me. I hope the next style is more like the bondi 7. I have a similar problem with new Cliftons.

True to size, lightweight and lots of cushioning

fit and felt great. Coconut/off white color looks like an orthopedic shoe.
