Really hurt my feet right away. Put in some Aetrex training inserts and that helped some but still feel very unstable and a lot of pain the the metatarsal area still. Unfortunately customer service said they weren't returnable. Would be nice if Asics backed the product a bit more like Brooks, Hoka, or even Running Warehouse as now I have a pair of shoes with 3 miles on them that won't be worn.

I tried the Novablast 4 just days before the 5 was unveiled. The 4 seemed excellent but fell short in a couple ways, so I returned them and pre-ordered the 5. The cushioning is noticeably softer, I much prefer the new tongue and the overall feel is subjectively better. I'm not a runner, these are purely everyday casual shoe impressions. The Novablast 5 is the shoe I'd been shopping for over the course of a couple months after rejecting several models from Hoka, New Balance and others. I even love the polarizing purple/coral color!

Got my first 5 miles in, feel great, nice bounce from foam, 11.5 wide going up 1/2 size and fit perfect. ASICS wides tend to sell out fast so Ill be ordering another pair

A bit "snug" for a size 13. No extra wiggle

Toe box a little wide — 'D' is only width — requiring wearer to really crunch down the laces there to squelch any wiggle. These are pillow-soft, so seemingly more geared toward comfort for the non-runner, although they're probably easy on the knees while providing extra workout for the calves, like running barefoot in the sand. I'm not used to such cushy joggers, so I guess time will tell.

The upper materials tore and got holes relatively early on. The shoe was great but it looked horrible with the torn material.

These were good for about a month, but the support was lacking. I put some medical insoles in the shoes, ones that have helped in the past. They were good for another month. Now I can't wear them without pain. I put on a pair of steel-toes with the insoles and I'm fine. Avoid these shoes if your require extra support for your arch

The shoe is marked a 11EE NO WAY! It's a D width. Opened box looked at the shoe and knew it never fit. Wore myb thinnest socks to try and the toes and foot were squished. Hoping I caught a great deal with 30% off.

First off, I walk a lot. About 5 miles a day. Usually my shoes last a while. At least 6-12 months. . These did not. The novablast 4 shoes would last at least 6-8 months. These novablast 5 shoes lasted 2 months. The soles were wearing out and my toe was poking through the top netting. Very cheaply made. Do not recommend.
