The shoes fix not like novablast4 not comfortable and too hot.

What a great improvement over the 4s. The toe box is so similar to the Superblast hard to tell the difference. The upper is so much softer and much more breathable than the 4s. The midsole: perfect !!!! The FF blast foam is so comfortable. I stretch my ten mile runs with ease. CHANGE NOTHING!!! Ono Margioni

Hands down, these are the best daily trainer running shoes I have ever worn! Everything about this shoe is fantastic. The comfort is unmatched, providing a perfect fit that makes running a pleasurable experience. The cushioning is excellent, absorbing the impact of each step and helping to reduce leg fatigue. Additionally, the durability is impressive; after several months of daily use, the shoes are still in great condition. The design is also very attractive and modern. I love them and will definitely get another pair. Five stars well deserved!

Soft enough for a long run, but gives a great energy return to help power through when you feel like youve got nothing in the tank!

I have had all the Novablast versions except 4, and 5 is my favorite. Soft but springy. It does run slighty large.

Responsive, comfortable, can go long and keep legs fresh.

Ive owned NB4s 2 pairs I have put 500 each never looked at any other daily trainer since then now with the NB5s put 7 miles so far i hit PRs the first run I went on them the game has changed for the better exactly what I expected from these jawns light as feather, responsive to any terrain and feels like you floating on clouds nuff said.

So happy I got these. I needed help with changing my stride to forefoot/midfoot and these did the trick. I was able to finish my first half marathon without my hip being in pain (I have a hip replacement). I'd definitely buy these again!

Ive had two great double digit mile runs with these so far. If you liked the Novablast 4s youll love the 5s.

I like this running shoe as a daily trainer better than I do the SuperBlast 2 because it is not as stiff and much more comfortable to run in .

I've run on Asics (mostly Kayanos and Nimbus' and GT-2000) for 30+ years. I live these (Novablast 5) shoes. Might be my favorites yet. Perfect combination of stability, cushioning and energy return. A joy to run in. I do a lot of mile. I am 68 years old. These are great for both training runs and my upcoming 1/2 marathon. Just Great shoes.

I've bought Asics for 20+ years, they just always fit and feel the best, in my opinion. During those last 20+ years I have ALWAYS only ever purchased a men's size 10.5 (I always buy running shoes), in fact, my current Noosa Tri 16's are a size 10.5 (men's). So, naturally I ordered a 10.5 in both the Novablast 5 & Dynablast 5 and both were at least a FULL SIZE off (too big) I have darn near 2-inches from the end of my big toe to the end of the toe box. I called to see if there is a manufacturing issue and was told by an Asic rep that "the shoes aren't bigger they're just made differently and appear bigger." Yes, word for word, that's what I was told. Well, I wish she could convince my imagination (and the tape measure) that the nearly 2-inches of empty space from the tip of my big toe to the end of the box that!!! What kind of response is that, you're really going to tell a customer that it's a figment of their imagination, that they're just made differently? She actually said, "they're NOT bigger, they're just made differently, so they appear bigger." Well, they definitely appear bigger and also ARE bigger! I was told that Asics does NOT do exchanges, that I had to return the shoes and then re-purchase different sizes, really??? I then found out that it was going to take 8-days to receive replacement sizes, these are for my dad for Christmas, who wears the same size as I do. I asked if Asics could expedite the new order because as you can see in my order history, I always order size 10.5, I was told that if I wanted them sooner I would have to pay an additional $30 for faster shipping. So after a phone call to Asics for assistance I learned; the 2-inches (per actual measurement) is a figment of my imagination due to new designs, Asics can't help with an exchange and Asics won't speed up shipping unless I pay an additional $30.00...I can honestly say I don't think I've ever had an exchange with a customer service rep such as that before. Choose wisely when selecting sizes and don't expect much help if shoes suddenly change sizes, maybe Asics should have a disclaimer for some shoes like car side mirrors, with the message "object's aren't as big as they appear."

My pair of Novablast 5 shoes arrived two after I completed a marathon, so I didnt get right out there upon arrival. But now that I have had them for a week, I have completed 3 runs in them with the longest being 10 miles. They fit true to size and feel very comfortable when wearing. The rubber seems to give a nice grip on the road. The foam adds a nice bounce to each step and feels soft but not squishy. I see these as being a very durable trainer.

This will easily be my favorite daily trainer moving forward. I ran the bulk of my miles in the 4 and the 5 has some great improvements! The FF Blast Max is a nice addition and creates a soft but responsive toe off. In most situations a softer foam isnt ideal, but it works perfectly in the Novablast 5. The fit is true to size.

Just what I was looking for. Extremely comfortable daily trainer. Using for recovery runs / steady.

AMAZING! Really versatile shoe. Feels super comfortable, plush, but still has great energy return. Shoe works great for easy runs and also picking up the pace. The cushion and bounce helps saves my legs, feeling more fresh. In addition, the tongue feels real nice. I wasn't a huge fan of the colorway initially but it's definitely grown on me. Very satisfied with this shoe overall!

The Asics Novablast 5 are hands down some of the best shoes Ive ever owned. Right out of the box, the fit was absolutely perfecttrue to size with no pinching or slipping. They hug your feet comfortably without feeling restrictive, and the cushioning is just right. What really stands out is how great they feel underfoot. The bounce and responsiveness of the midsole are incredible, making every step feel light and effortless. Whether youre going for a casual walk, a long run, or just wearing them around, they provide outstanding comfort and support. The design and build quality are top-notch, with a sleek look that works just as well for workouts as for everyday wear. Fit is larger than my pair of original Novablasts so hopefully able to return these and order a size smaller.

5 star - much better fit than Novablast 4 Wide. Thanks for paying attention to the tight fit of the Novablast 4 customer comments. Now ASICs has announced a superior running shoe in the mid price range. The option for a blue color is much better than Novablast 4 wide.

I have had multiple pairs Asics Novablasts. A few of the 3s and then the 4s and now just received the 5s. Ive only done a few runs, but love them. Asics keeps moving in the right direction with each new generation. I find these to still have plenty of cushion, but to also be a little more supportive and seem to have a little more bounce and return than previous generations. This is a great all-around daily running shoe. Great for slow and easy miles but I just did a speed workout and it fit that bill as well. My son is a soon to be division one college distance runner and uses these as daily trainers for his easy runs.
