Midsole foam is way better than last year. A touch softer and more bounce. The fit is slightly roomier through the midfoot which suits my foot well. Seems to breathe a little better than the novablast 4 as well.

I love the Superblast 2 as my all-rounder and especially for faster long runs, so I was curious how the Novablast 5 would be like. I liked the Novablast 3 from a few years ago but had skipped v4. I'm glad I got the NB5 as it's a perfect complement to the Superblast 2 as well as the Metaspeed Edge & Sky Paris for speed workouts and racing. The NB5's cushioning is soft and great for easy runs but can also pick up the pace very well, which was surprising. The ride is very different from the SB2, which is what makes it so complementary. Very happy to add the NB5 to my rotation.

Would give 5 stars except it does run a half size larger. Don't let this keep you from getting this shoe, just had to go through the return process which is in work but simple. Def go a half size down!

Such a great daily training running shoe! Very comfortable, I find it more comfortable than the Superblast 2, the Nike zoomfly 6, and the NB trainer V3. The ride is very natural, smooth, cushioned, and a little energy. You wont he disappointed

It helped me cut my pace from 8:30 to 7:55 on my first trial.

Overall good shoe. Definitely a step up from last year's model. I would say it's a great daily trainer.

Amazing feel, feels like running on plush pillows.

Super nice! Greater plush than kayanos 30 with amazing stability and uniformity to my feet when in running action. I bought wide and its not as narrow as the kayano 30s extra wide. Novablast 5 is definitely better in every way than kayano 30s.

Very comfortable shoe, however my son has shown me the souls are already starting to wear down pretty significantly and he's only had them for a few weeks.

Novablast 4, but better in every way. Incredible running shoe. Fits right into my rotation for easy, enjoyable runs.

Not worth the money. The tongue slides down. They feel cheap.

I was told that these shoes replaced the Asics gel ds-trainers the person that talked to has no idea what a running shoe is these shoes come no where close to replacing the Gel DS-trainers

Wonderful shoes, comfortable and lightweight, according to specs and upgrade from the Novablast 4. As expected this fulfill the long run shoes requirements

Consistent with the previous Novablast models . . . just the right amount of cushion; not too bouncy and not too stiff. I especially like that the laces secure the tongue in place.

I love my new novablast 5. I was holding out to wear them until Christmas but my old shoes (non ASICS) were rapidly going flat. I switched and immediately remembered why I have worn Novablasts for years. I like the new lacing design on the tongue. It feels like the support and cushioning are improved. My whole family runs on ASICS. Highly recommend the Nblast 5!

I've been a fan of the Novablast line for a few years now, and it never ceases to amaze me how ASICS manages to improve with every new version. The Novablast 5 keeps the comfort and lightweight feel that Ive always loved, but with noticeable enhancements in stability and responsiveness. The design has also evolved, looking even more modern and sleek. Its a shoe that delivers top-notch performance on any terrain, perfect for long runs and daily training. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a premium running experience

the shoes is super comfortable and superlight. I am enjoying it very much on the road.

Fits well. The bottom has good grip and the padding on the bottom feels soft, but not too soft to were you just sink standing still.The top half of the shoe lining feels a little on the thin side; so it doesn't rub off on you and can breath extremely well when running or being on long walks for my exercise.

Great comfort and feel with this version. I had the NovaBlast 4 which were also great, but these blow them out of the water in my opinion. I have issues with my Achilles and knees, but havent had any problems since I started using the NovaBlast series.

These are without a doubt the most comfortable running shoes I have ever owned. They are springy and soft but you can still feel the ground. I usually wear wide shoes but the standard width fits me perfectly. They seem to be true to size. I love running in these.

Im truly surprised how it performs, i love the trampoline effect. Highly recommended

The best novablast from ASICS so far. ASICS brings back the responsiveness of the first generation while addressing stability concerns. The shoe also gives a nice soft ride while feeling snappy underfoot.
