Love this line from Brooks! As a busy physical therapist and runner, they are the only shoes I wear!

I have every edition of the glycerin and the 22s are by far the best so far. Absolutely the best. Just when I think they have made the perfect shoe and cant top it, they do. I have tried every brand and even had special built running shoes. These are the best! Super cushioned, extremely light weight, great new design around the ankle and no tightness or construction on top of foot where the laces begin. Roomy toe box but not too big that there is a lot of room to cause instability.

The Glycerin 22.is improved vs the 21. It has more/deeper cushioning which helps my plantar facitis. It is a little longer in the toe area than the 21 which makes it more comfortable in the front. The laceing system is unevenly spaced. There is too much space between the2nd and third crossing which leaves a bubble of tongue materially popping out. The shoe laces are too short. I have a problem tyingthem well because of that. I wish Brooks would stop trying to save money on shoe laces and provided nice ones in complimentary colors with ample length.

I did not buy these shoes to run. I bought them for long nursing days on my feet and they are absolutely glorious!! I feel like I am walking on pillows. I couldn't recommend them enougth to anyone who needs comfort and support. I do haved multiple pairs of Brooks and I love them all, but these are the softest walk.

I've recently returned to Brooks running shoes after trying some other brands for a few years and I'm so happy to be back. I've been running in the Glycerin 21's and am happy to say the 22's might be even better. The fit feels great, and they feel even springier than the previous version. There's also a bit of extra padding around the ankle which makes my foot feel very snug and locked in.

Have worn Brooks for a number of years while walking 12 hours in a hospital. These shoes give great cushioning for walking on hard surfaces. I like that the Glycerin 22 has an Extra wide size.

Love these new Glycerin 22 shoes! Cushioning is just right- Im on my feet all day. I really like the extra padding around the heel. The only thing I would ask is to have more color options.

Great shoes! These seem to have a bit more cushioning than the 21s and thats a huge win. Please take note, the back portion (its in the picture but I missed it) and on sides of ankle is raised and rubs on skin. If you have sensitive skin keep this and your favorite socks in mind.

I was so hoping the Glycerin 22 was going to be like the Glycerin 20. I bought up multiple pairs of Glycerin 20 in my size that I have worn for two years. I couldnt wear the Glycerin 21 with my orthotics. I was anxiously awaiting the 22 for an entire year. The Glycerin 22 however hurt underneath my toes. I tried them on and they accommodated the orthotic ok and I had enough room in my toe area but I also need a semi rigid platform and these were too soft for my foot and not good enough support for my metatarsals, which the 20 was. They also didnt have much ankle support. I will have to find another shoe or brand and say good-bye to the Glycerin, unfortunately. Not sure why they change them so much each year. It doesnt necessarily improve them. People rely on a specific model for a reason. Im disappointed Brooks.

Dislike it intensely. Spongy insole and zero support. Felt flimsy and inadequate. Exceedingly disappointing, given that Ive worn Glycerin for years and always promoted the style for its arch support, cushioning, and longevity. No more, however. The new sock type thing on the back is the feature I dislike most about other Brooks styles. Now that it also extends to Glycerin, I may not find another Brooks style to work. Couldnt return my pre-ordered Glycerin 22s fast enough.

Had to return. Not sure what I thought of this new model. They did narrow the shoe once again after making it wider the past few years. I am not heavy. I weigh 110lbs but this version is much more narrow than the previous models. I also really dont know what to say about the new heal. It does make it look like your shoes are to big. As the heal that is fitting your foot is more inset than the outside of the shoe. None the less.here goes another year that I am buying and storing last years model to get through to the next change to the Glycerin 23. Or I find a new shoe / different brand?

No complaints other than I have to wear custom orthotics which makes the shoes squeak. I have 3 other Brooks running shoes that dont do this. I thought that after wearing several times that the squeaking would subside, but it hasnt.

Very disappointed in these. The new portion around the heel was very uncomfortable and rubbed the side of my ankle. I'm a long time Glycerin wearer and it's been a bit of whiplash of changes between Glycerin 19 and 22. The 20s had sizing issues (felt way roomier than the 19), but the 21 seemed to solve that. And now the 22 is another step back. Good thing the 21s are on sale now! Hopefully the 23 will have some adjustments: otherwise I may finally have to find another brand.

These are literally the most comfortable sneakers I have ever worn - hands down. From the moment I slipped my foot in, it felt as thought I was walking on air. The bounces and shock absorbency is out of this world, and I even find that I pronate less when running. I also like that there is a wider toe box which makes them great for people with wider feet like me, they do not pinch or cause discomfort in the toe or any other area of the foot. I would love to see more darker colors - the white is hard to keep clean and show will eventually show dirt very easily. But all in all, these sneakers are perfect and they have inspired me to get back to my love of running and exercise.

Typically I wear the Glycerin GTS to help correct my foot supination. I can tell that this does not have the GTS technology, but my foot/ankle does still feel very well supported. I love the colors, but would be ok if the colors were a bit bolder. The fabric is comfortable and flexible, but still sturdy. I just had a baby and am starting to train for a half marathon, so my mileage is currently low, but I feel good about these shoes lasting during my race training.

Im a newer running training in Minnesota in the winter for a half marathon, so I deal with all sorts of conditions. Ive found the Glycerin 22 shoes to be extremely comfortable during my runs. They are much more cushioned than my previous shoes, making each step less stressful on my knees and legs. I didnt find these shoes particularly great on icy roadways/sidewalks, partially due to the more severe angle of the front of the shoe. They angle up more than Im used to and made me feel less stable in slippery conditions. In non-icy conditions, I found the angle helped propel me forward, so a positive all things considered! Lastly, I have very narrow feet and had to tie these rather tight, but they felt great and fit well. I definitely recommend these running shoes due to the amount of comfort they provide, their shape, and their fit!

I have previously used a different brand of running shoe, and was even professionally fitted for them. However, there was an immediate difference I noticed when I put on the Gylcerin 22. The fit was perfect. I have a wide foot typically, and though these are not wide sizing, they fit perfectly to my foot. If you have a narrow foot- you may find these too wide for you. My first 2 mile run in the shoes, I did not experience any rubbing and the shoes had a "broken in" feel. In the shoes, I did not experience any pain or fatigue that impacted my performance. They are my new go to!

9 W has fit perfectly over last two generations of Glycerins. The 9W Glycerin 21 was the most perfect shoe I've had in a long time. This 9W feels tighter in the toe box and a half-inch longer. Very similar to the change from Ghost 13 to Ghost 14 (when I switched to Glycerins). Returning, will be on the search for another shoe, but wide sizes are hard to come by.
I'd also recommend:

I bought these shoes for working on hard concrete type floors. They have a lot of cushion for that, so that part is good. However, the cushion is very soft and non-supportive. I started having pain around and above my ankles because the muscles are constantly trying to keep me supported. The left shoe is worse because at the inside area of the heel, it’s even softer and feels like my ankle is rotated inward (pronated). I have become very disappointed in Brooks’ quality.
