Super comfortable, good cushion with excellent support. Keeps my feet feeling good and it also helps my back.

I am normally a 9 Wide in Brooks Glycerin but these are so snug it hurts to put them on! Otherwise I love every other version!

Insole softer than other shoes I have; I would always like softer. I would buy this model again.

A bit stiffer than Glycerine 21. I prefer the softer show

Not a runner but walker. These are supreme comfort without being too much as far as height. The arch is not aggressive and the toe-off makes walking easier. Ive been loyal to the Glycerin for years now. Have tried others but always come back to Glycerin. The only negative is the need the 22 needs to come in more colors, an all pink would be amazing.

Love the purple color but disappointed in the new heel collar design. The heel collar is too high and rubs the ankle and Achilles very badly, even with higher socks, making them very uncomfortable.

I stocked up on the 20s, didnt like the 21s, and love the 22s! So much cushion! Now I have 10 pair of the 20s I dont like a well! Oops!

I am a Brooks runner through and through - Ive tried Levitate, Ghost, and Adrenaline styles in the past. I have thoroughly enjoyed my latest training runs using the Glycerine 22. I wore the shoes out and about to start to break them in and was pleasantly surprised by the spring in my step when doing normal everyday errands. This cushion and spring was welcome when I took them out for a few runs! I am training, but at a lower mileage with my runs, so on my 4 to 5 mile runs I was comfortable and certainly felt the advertised cushion as my feet landed. One thing that was different from my other Brooks shoes is the laces. These laces have a very elastic quality to them, so it took me a few tries to find the best way to tie them so they were comfortable across the top of my foot and not too loose or too tight. Just be aware of this, or swap out for your preferred laces if you dont want a stretch.

I absolutely love this shoe. I'm a casual runner, I don't run fast, and I'm carrying some extra weight I'd love to shed eventually. I'm purely running for exercise and for fun, so comfort is definitely a top priority for me. I'd been finding that my feet were starting to get sore after running and I was having some occasional knee pain. I attributed this to the extra weight I've put on, and so a more cushioned shoe seemed a natural solution. WOW was I impressed with just how much of a difference these shoes made! I'd been hesitant in the past to buy some of the "max" cushioned styles that have been popping up lately, because when I would try them on they often felt so soft that they felt unstable and like I was going to twist an ankle at any minute. Not with the Glycerin 22! It feels plush but perfectly stable while walking, like I could walk forever. However, with running they really shine. My heel strike is so soft that I don't feel the impact in my feet or knees at all (even in the cold, when those impacts can be brutal!), but then I feel a really smooth transition to my forefoot and even a little bit of propulsion from the shoe at toe-off! I was hoping for a shoe that could give me cushion without feeling (or looking) like a massive pillow under my feet, and this shoe delivers that and then some! I feel like they are helping my stride push me forward, and I have been putting in more miles than usual without any of that foot pain I had before. The upper is more cushioned than I'm used to, but never makes my feet hot and the heel collar does a great job locking my narrow heels into the shoe. The toe box accommodates my slightly wide forefoot and bunions without any friction. These run true to size compared with other Brooks styles I've worn in the past. It also helps that the shoes look cute and that I love the color (limpet shell-amparo blue) - It will make me think of spring all winter long! These are now my new go-to running shoe for comfort that doesn't make me feel unstable. They are just the right mix of soft and stable. Now I just need to get another pair to use for walking the hospital halls at work!
