I've worn Ghosts for many years but this year and last years versions didn't fit quite right so tried these and they're solid. I wear them to run around the neighborhood and for hikes in the hills. The overall length and placement of the arch is great, plenty of room in the toes and a narrower heel which I need. My only complaint is that they are a little loose around the ankle and even cinched up using the extra hole I get little pebbles and burrs from the trail falling in the sides. I thought about returning them, but they're really comfy, so I'm keeping them and just wishing the ankle was more secure.

I ordered a few pair of shoes and these came out the winner. Very comfortable and a great replacement for the Brooks Ghost. I haven't been happy with changes to the Ghost line and I am happy that I tried the Glycerin. I'm looking forward to many long walks with my dog. The only thing I wasn't thrilled with was the very white sole but I can live with it for the comfort.

I love these shoes and wish I could keep them. They’re very comfortable with good cushioning and moderate arch support. However, due to metatarslgia, I need a wide toe box and these are not quite wide enough. Sadly, I’m returning but I do think they are wonderful for most people.
