I really wanted this boot to fit. So pretty the dark red. I wear a Wide. But it is narrower than what Wides run. The WW fit, but too loose in the heel. Just need some tweeking. As I said, beautiful boot.

want to try a wider and bigger size

I ordered the dark "red." It was a hideous dark pink (and I like pink, but this is really not dark red and ugly). Wait until the red goes on clearance, then get it. Good fit, cute style/

Cute bootie but odd fit. I’m a true 9.5 but this felt very small in the toe, yet was loose in the ankle. It would have slid uncomfortably.

UGH!!! Right out of the box I hated these boots. The brown boots look like they are made of plastic! I honestly cannot tell if they are made of leather or microfiber material. I ordered a size 8N and they are very tight with a sock, felt like a whole size too small. For the price of these boots I do NOT recommend them.

Fake Zipper! Only the inside zipper actually opens the other is for looks only. I wear a 10.5W but have a high instep with issues getting my foot into many boots, so when I saw a boot style with 2 zippers I thought this SHOULD be perfect allowing me to get my foot into the boot. A huge disappointment when I opened the box and realized only 1 of the zippers actually opened and I couldn't get my foot into the boot due to the sharp angle. Since I can't submit a review without a rating for every category, it seemed fair to I gave the boot a medium comfort rating for something I couldn't even get my foot into. Luckily I also ordered Softwalk Wesley which had a zipper and an elastic gore that allowed my foot into the boot.

I bought 3 pairs of boots at the same time. I kept the Rockports and the Dr. Scholls but had to return these. I got both shoes on, however, could only zip one of them up! Not a good look. For a wide shoes, makes sense if the ankle is a bit wider as well. just a thought....

This is a very stylish and comfortable flat boot, but I paid full price for them and st well over $100 bucks they should be lasting much longer! I have only been wearing them a few months and the runner bottom is pulling away at the toe and the chunky heel is wearing down. I am not at all hard on shoes and often keep them for years. I felt like I was purchasing a quality boot but I am very disappointed in how they are wearing! Too bad cuz they are exactly what I wanted!

Purchased 9M in Black Smooth Leather and in Dark Red. Returned both pairs. Could not get my right foot in corresponding boot for either pair and it was a struggle to put on the left ones. My feet are narrow, especially the heels. Tried them on wearing thin dress socks. What a shame because, fit aside, the boots appear to be well-constructed; beautiful leather; quality seen in more upscale products and what I had come to expect from Trotters. So disappointed because I need a boot with a very low heel. I could have ordered a larger size, but the boot would look too long and weird- the pointed toe already adds length. From what I could tell the medium width fit was true to size for the left ankle.

The comfort is so-so at best...I have a narrow foot so I need narrow shoes, and in my opinion the lack of comfort doesn't come from the shoe being narrow but rather it because it's cheaply made. After only the second use I could feel the inner sole falling apart. I recently ordered Trotters for my daughter as well and they gave her blisters. For a brand that's supposed to be known for comfort this is pretty disappointing, I think we'll move on from it.

I ordered 7 WIDE but got 7 MEDIUM! Way too narrow.

Shoe sole was narrow but the shoe itself was more of a medium width. I was able to place my finger inside and touch my toe if this was a true narrow width I wouldn’t be able to stick my finger into toe portion of the boot.

The left shoe was marked a size 8.5 but it is weirdly much bigger than the right shoe, also marked 8.5 FYI I have a pair of Trotters that I just ordered from Zappos in size 8.5 and it fits perfectly.

I usually wear narrow but these were too narrow. These boots have 4 zippers but only one worked. The other 3 could not be moved.

Ordered these in double wide but even though they were marked double wide I could not even get my foot inside at all.

Very hard to put these boots on as they sit so low. They have 2 zippers but only one opens why? They would be much easier to put on if both zippers opened. I found these boots very uncomfortable to walk in also. These are being returned.

I could not try on both shoes. The zippers on the sides are extremely difficult, in fact, I could not even unzip both sides to get the shoe on! Extremely disappointed about the quality since they cost over $100. I wish Zappos had a better selection of wide shoes for the younger generation!

This was a nice looking boot; however, the opening was so tight I couldn't get my foot into the boot. Very disappointed with Trotters with regard to this boot. Have to return.

These boots run very small. I'm a classic ten, and could not fit into these boots, even with just stocking feet.

I ordered an 8M. The box was marked 8M, but the size of the boot was 8W. Since I was sent the wrong size, I am unable to rate this bootie honestly. This is not the first time I have received a different size than the size indicated on the box. I give Zappos one star for the lack of attention given to their returns.

I could not even get my foot in this wide shoe.
