AMAZING! AMAZING! AMAZING! This is my first brooks shoe, AMAZING SHOE! The Brooks Glycerin Max truly showcases cutting-edge innovation with its DNA Tuned cushioning its great for long runs, its very comfortable, foamy, buttery smooth, responsive and a good bouncy spring. The combination of cushioning, responsiveness, and secure fit really makes it stand out for long runs, especially when comfort is your top priority. offering plush cushioning in the heel and energetic responsiveness in the forefoot. This provides an ideal mix of comfort and responsiveness, making every step feel smoother and more efficient. The GlideRoll Rocker geometry ensures seamless transitions, reducing fatigue over longer distances. The laces are amazingly secure. The tongue is cushy and long enough. Overall this Max cushion shoe feels very well built, top of the line premium running shoe. These might be the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn to this day. Im a bigger guy 6'2" 250+ lbs and wanted something that would make my back, legs, knees, joints, and feet feel great all day even after a long run. I wasn't looking for speedy shoe however I was looking for comfort and this is it! This shoe seems to be a perfect match, especially for someone looking for that premium, all-day wear feel. In essence, the Brooks Glycerin Max combines innovation, comfort, and performance into a shoe that feels as good as it looks, giving you the freedom to focus on enjoying the run, mile after mile. It The Brooks Glycerine Max really excels in providing solid traction, even in challenging conditions. Running in fog, wet surfaces, and over fallen leaves can be tricky, but with that kind of grip, you can tackle any terrain with confidence. That kind of grip gives you an added layer of confidence, knowing your shoes are providing stability as you tackle different terrains. It's especially reassuring on longer runs, where the added stability helps you stay focused and safe, even when the weather or surface conditions aren't ideal. It's great that the shoe offers that extra peace of mind during tougher conditions. It's always reassuring to know your shoes will keep you stable, especially on longer runs.

I never ran. Started running. Ran 4 miles max. Put on these shoes. Ran 3x longer. Seriously though, this shoe is so great, I compare it to adidas ultra boost, which is not a conventional running shoe but I'm sure there are a lot of people wondering why but a real running shoe. Trust me, you will be mind blown.

Very cushy, but doesn't slow me down much. The rocker effect could be the reason for that. I haven't run in shoes with this setup before now. Definitely faster than my Hoka Bondi. Pretty stable for the height, but I have had a couple moments where I nearly rolled my ankle on uneven surfaces. That was when I was first breaking them in though. I'm surprised how light they are for the size. They look very nice in white, but I don't think that's going to last. I tend to rub up against or spill things that will get my feat dirty. Already have a stripe from my suitcase wheel running over my foot. Comfy for traveling BTW.

Excellent shoe if you're in the market for maximum cushioning. I now find myself using these shoes for running, casual work days, and as house slippers. Quite the combination.

I bought my 1st pair which were the women's model and loved them so much when I saw there were new colors , I had to get another pair so I could rotate them. Because I prefer black shoes, I ordered the men's version and again am extremely pleased at their fit, style and cushioning.

I am 40 yrs male. I did all my training runs on Glycerin Max and used it for my race day - Philly Marathon. I completed my first marathon with no injuries in 5 hrs 33 mins. My leg recovery was quick too. Thank you Brooks for making excellent sneakers.

This is the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn! Since getting this shoe, it has become my #1 shoe for long runs and even more so for the 2nd day of back to back run days. I would 1000% recommend these to anyone who likes running in max cushion shoes. The comfort level is insane!

I have to agree, Brooks make some seriously comfortable running shoes! I was hesitant to spend the money at first, but I'm so glad I did. My feet have never felt better, and my runs are so much more enjoyable. I can definitely see why people rave about them. They are worth every penny!

I bought these because I am big fan of Max Cushion shoes. With a bad knee and hips that don't always feel the best, these types of shoes always help. I have never owned a pair of Brooks prior to these, so I have no frame of reference when it comes to how these feel in comparison to other Brooks. What I can compare these to is almost every Max Cushion shoe that has come out this year from all the major brands. These definitely stand out in a crowded market. They have a very unique feel. Being extremely soft and plush without feeling over squishy or unstable. The very first day I had them I wore them to work for a ten hour shift, to break them in a bit before actually going out and jogging in them. I finished my shift, went home, knocked out a five mile jog, and still felt fresh after it was all said and done. No foot, leg, knee, or lower back pain to speak of. Every other pair I have had this year of the competitors brands always felt good at the beginning of the day but, never could take me all the way through without them giving up in one or multiples of those categories. Despite the price, I was so impressed and convinced these would be amazing for my use cases, I bought them in two colors. My Only draw back with these is they are not as breathable as I would like them to be but the plush step in feel and overall comfort after wearing them all day is a small sacrifice. You might scoff at the price or even the styling but these are a Absolute Must Have for people searching for Ultra Comfort and an Unrivaled Feel overall that you will not find in any shoe of its kind. Keep making these Brooks, and you will have a long term customer.

***Probably the best running shoe I've ever purchased***, Just to preface, I am 6'4 240 pounds I run 2-4 times a week 3-4mi and these glycerin max hold up so well (I wear out most pairs of shoes within two months), extremely comfortable/stable good response when I pick up speed, I read a couple reviews before I purchase people said they were a little on the Heavier side I think they're perfect weight, good room in the Tow box, the tongue and heel are very plush and comfortable your feet do not slide around like other brands would and this similar style of every day running shoe! Huge shout out to Brooks did a killer job on the shoe

Excellent shoe for recovery and easy runs, or those moments where you're recovering from an injury (like me at this moment) and you need to start running soft and slow again. I like the impact absorption this shoe has, your knees and joints will thank you.

I run a lot (70~80 miles per week) and the great majority of those miles are in the Zone 2 easy run category, so I'm a big fan of max-stack shoes that provide protection for the legs and joints but are also fun to run in. I have several max-stack shoes from other brands that I like very much, but I decided to add the Glycerin Max as well based on the very positive experience I had Hyperion Max 2 that I love for tempo runs. Although I didn't need yet another max-stack max-cushioned shoes, I'm really glad that I got the Glycerin Max as it is so comfortable, protective, and has the fun factor for long easy cruises covering over 15 miles. It's obviously great for set-and-forget cruising paces but can also pick up the pace seamlessly when I want to do so. It doesn't force me to pick up the pace or go faster than I want to and it doesn't bog me down either at recovery pace as some max-stack shoes tend to do. It's perfectly in the middle. It also feels the better for walking and standing than the other max-stack shoes I have and I'll be wearing this for an upcoming trade show where I'll need to stand by a booth most of the three days of the show and do a lot of walking around as well. The only thing I wish the Glycerin Max had is a gusseted tongue, but I understand that could add more bulk and weight to the upper. The feel and ride is smooth but can get peppy when picking up the pace. This DNA Tuned foam is something special. I look forward to more shoes from Brooks with this foam. In the meanwhile, I'll be putting a lot of miles into the Glycerin Max. Brooks nailed the max-stack max-cushioned shoe with this one.

Light as a feather, and these shoes were just what I needed. For reference, I'm a heavier set guy with a powerlifting background and this was my first 1/2 marathon at the inaugural Las Vegas Half Maratjon! I don't think I'd be able to get thru my half marathon this past weekend with another pair of shoes on! These were spot on!

These are my new go-to shoes. I typically wear women's shoes in D width, but that wasn't an option for the glycerine max. Once I realized that women's D width was the same as a normal men's width, I did the size conversion and ordered the men's.and I am so glad I did! They are light with an amazing amount of cushionperfect for my long runs. Best shoe to date!

It has incredible support and an overall bouncy feel. I could pick up the pace when I needed to; I raced in this shoe for a half-marathon and did not feel fatigued at the end. Overall, it is a fantastic shoe to wear for race day. It was comfortable, and the tongue did not slip, which made it uncomfortable. I use it for my longer sessions, and it works very well. I need to put it in the second hole for lockdown on the laces.

I am a lifetime runner who cannot run anymore. Knees. My Ortho says no hi impact running or surgery. I have been looking for a supportive shoe with the best possible pavement impact protection. Have owned many Hoka shoes and they were OK. Decided to try the new Glycerin max. First few feet on the pavement and you immediately notice the difference. Very soft isolated pavement feel but not marshmallow like. Great support. Soft impact and the front cut in the shoe helps to push you off. Love the color as well. Last week got caught in the rain and the shoe was excellent on a slippery wet road. I'm enjoying my time in the shoes. looking forward to hitting the pavement again. Now to find a model that this good for every day walking .

Nice and bouncy, good rocker, propels me along at a brisk pace, with a sensation of less effort. Great cushioning, not too spongy, perfect for larger runners too (I am 5'10" 200lbs) .

From the look to the feel, this shoe is amazing and just might get me running again. I use them for daily wear for work and out & about. The fit, feel, and style is sooooo good. I want to buy 10 pair to keep me stocked up for awhilebut I'm also excited for how this shoe will be tinkererd with and other color ways that may come. FWIW I'm not a tiny fella & the support from these shoes is magnificent. Awesome jobs all around!

The bottom line: this is one of the best trainers of the year from any brand. The stack is high, soft, and stable with nice energy return. Plenty of protection to run your longest training runs. The upper fits like a glove; it really feels like sliding your foot into a plush, secure, pillow. But it is decently breathable as well. I took these on a 6 1/2 mile steady-run right out of the box and they felt amazing at 9-minute paces all the way down to 7:30 per-mile. Not sure I'd want to go much faster than that due to the weight But this is not a speed trainer. I needed a new recovery day/long run shoe after retiring a pair of 1080v13s and the Glycerin Max puts those to SHAME for that purpose. I tried this against the Skyward X, Glycerin 21, Ghost Max 2, Super Blast 2, and Magic Speed 2. I walked out with these and have absolutely no regrets. It perfectly fills the space in my rotation alongside some Mach 6s, Endorphin Speed 3s, and Cielo X1s. Buy now for maximum comfort over distance!

These were a big jump for me from the Adrenaline GTS I've been wearing for years. They are AMAZING. love these for anything over 45min of running (I'd wear them all the time but I try to change it up, for shorter runs and speed work). They feel like running on clouds; very fast, energetic clouds. The heel-toe transition is dialed. I love running, these shoes make me love running more. Oddly while they feel amazing for running they feel kind of awkward for walking. so wouldn't recommend as a walking shoe or a work shoe - but that's just, like, my opinion.
