I've been wearing max cushioned shoes for a few years. The last pair was my Nike zoomx invincible v2's. Unfortunately Nike changed the missile with v3 and I had to start my search once again. Fortunately for me Brooks created the Glycerin max. Probably the best shoes ever made. The cushioning is next level. One thing I wish it had a little more arch support . But honestly don't change a thing. Brooks just keep this midsole as is and you'll have a customer for life.

Cushy support and nice rocker action for my long training runs (goal is Marathon this fall) there is definitely a ceiling on speed before you start to feel the imbalance of comfort over grip, but that's what tempo shoes are for. So far I've gotten as far as a half marathon long run and they felt great.

Solid shoe, I have wide feet and these fit great. Only thing I've noticed after running 50 miles in them is that there's no support for the ankles and with these being so high off the ground, I'm worried I'm going to eventually situation my ankle on these. Otherwise very happy with my purchase and would buy them again.

This is my first buy from Brooks and it didn't disappoint! The shoe performance is great, super bouncy yet super stable , wide plataform to get that stability the shoe offers, and it's super roomy inside for all those who seek a wide and super comfortable interior space for your toes and mid/front foot.

I have bone cancer of my left hip ball joint-I must have super cushioned and SPRINGY/Energy return shoes. I have tried some 10 other options before choosing these. They have the perfect cushioning and perfect amount of energy return!!! I especially love the extra springy cushion in the FOREFOOT. I will stick with these from now onwards--gonna buy the mono tone blueish new color next..

Live in Wisconsin so was running in these shoes until the snow came last fall. Cushioning is awesome; upper fit is really good. Brooks nailed the rocker sole, so transitioning for the stack height is excellent. Chose the white colorway. I couldn't be happier with the shoes. This is a way different feel than the regular glycerin, way better

My favorite max comfort shoe ever. I've purchased serval Hoka and NB max cushion shoes to get back into running after a bad IT band injury. I have the lastest from all three companies and tried them all today on a 45 min treadmill workout. The Glycerin Max was BY FAR the best for my leg and general run.

Love these shoes. I do a lot of road running and the cushion and stability of these shoes are incredible. I no longer use an added cushion insole and my long term knee pain is gone. Highly recommend. I have been running for 45 years- yea, I'm old, but can handle a lot of miles in these shoes. I've been wearing the standard glycerin for many years. but now choose the max for most of my runs. Fit is the same as with the standard glycerin- order up at least a 1/2 size from your normal shoes.

May be the best running shoe I've ever worn. A plush shoe that runs close to a race shoe. Support through midfoot, soft with heal strike, neutral through stance phase but still supportive of arch. Not a racer but had been great for long runs 8-9 min pace and tempo days 6-7min paces . Not a race shoe but my favorite shoe to running in. Makes me look good

I have been an avid fan of glycerin for several years. It is my favorite training shoe, and I have run marathons using glycerin. Upon opening the box, I was pleasantly surprised with the color and design of the shoe. I liked the white and black mixture and yellow linings. I can visually see the thickness of the sole. The shoe fits and feels like a charm. It is very cushiony and soft. I was so impressed with the softness and with the transitions. I felt like I could run forever because transitions were so easy. The shoe is not lightweight, so it's a good training shoe for long runs with maximum comfort and effortless transitions. Brooks running has done it again. The best quality and maximum cushion.

Big stack but firm enough so you won't bottom out. As a heel/mid-foot striker, these are very comfortable for easy runs. I've thrown in some speed intervals in there and they can be quite speedy too. They do tend to run a bit warm on the feet as they have a pretty thick knit to the top. Some ankle bite if you're doing the runners knot, but not really too noticeable for me once I get going (I do it for heel slippage prevention).

I got the Glycerin Max for daily wear for walks and for my work. These shoes have a lot of cushion and are very forward moving. I stand a lot and move around at work, and they have helped me reduce fatigue in my legs significantly. Highly recommend this pair to anyone who is looking for cushion and comfort

Even though I don't run anymore, I purchased my 2nd pair of Glycerine shoes. I pretty much wear them everywhere. They are unbelievably comfortable while walking and light hiking. All of my shoes are from Brooks, all 4 pairs of them. Way to go Brooks

Best running shoes ever. My only complaint would be to add a thicker tread (like you would find on a trail shoe). I am not a runner anymore, due to shin splints, but I Love walking.

My very first Brooks shoe. The hype was real in my experience, I was looking for a long distance show that would be comfy and somewhat stable. This shows is a very good match for my feet, and the styling of it is excellent. I would purchase again and plan to purchase this shoe in newer iterations.

Great daily trainer shoe for clocking easy and long runs. The cushion makes a huge difference and I feel like I notice it throughout the whole run. Makes easy miles fun and springy. Really eliminates to need to have an extensive rotation as these can cover such a wide range of runs. I still go for the Hyperion max's for workouts, but reach for these every other run of the week now. 300 miles in and they feel as springy as when they were new!

Love them! Took them out of the box and did 4 miles. These are my first max shoe and they felt a little "squishy" like they were going to be too soft and unstable when I walked in them. So I was a little worried until I started running. As soon as I started running all the hype surrounds this shoe was instantly obvious. That squishy feel went away and they felt really responsive. I didn't feel like I had to pull my foot out of quick sand like some highly cushioned shoes. They actually felt like you got a little rebound from them. The whole run felt great and I can't wait to see how they feel on my long runs. Overall I would absolutely recommend this shoe. 48yo male 25 mi/week

It is my favorite running shoe to date. I already want a few pairs on hand just to have. Perfect for my wide feet, enough room for my toes to breath and the cushioning is absolute PERFECT. I have no desire to run or train in anything currently and I'm beyond satisfied. I don't think I can find anything wrong with it.

Absolutely love these shoes, THIS is the definition of max stack/cushion. They fit true to size, they're snug, don't move around at all, great laces and are an absolute blast to run in. They're so comfortable, they truly reduce running fatigue like I've never felt. Highly recommended!
