Overall really great experience, it's shed an additional 30 seconds off my pace overall. They are SUPER light weight, really hug your get well and has a great cushion. I had hokas before this and I truly enjoy these brooks more.

these are so great honestly. switched from nike and it's a great decision i'll never go back. unfortunately i am getting slight rips in the heel but that is most likely my fault as i don't untie my shoes before ripping them off alas..

My first pair of Hyperion Max 2 did not disappoint. I like how it rolls your foot forward as I'm running. Didn't even feel like I needed to break them in for the half marathon I completed in them. Great shoe!

I am new to brooks and after liking a pair I found on sale at my military exchange mart I decided to try another pair and based on the results of my quiz went with these! They're great tempo run or race day shoes. Snappy and comfortable!

Game changer! Road or trail-this shoe gives you the support and comfort to keep going! I received these on Friday. Ran Saturday and Sunday and not one ache! Highly recommend if you prefer/need support.

The model is great, I like it better than the previos version (I had 3 pairs already) unfortunately it comes significantly smaller than the previous version. I'm always 11.5 across all models and brands. I'm using it as a rotation for now because of that and I bought in a sale the older version for my daily runs. Next time I buy it will be a 12 or 12.5. The shoe is otherwise great, I should have exchanged it when I got them but I thought they would stretch out but after a few miles they still fell tight and small. I will buy it again but a larger size.

Did a 5 k and then spent the entire day at Disney land in these shoes. I have halixus Rigidus and my feet did not hurt one bit when we got back to the hotel. Well worth the extra $$.
I'd also recommend:

I've been a die-hard Ghost fan but they are now a distant second to these! Get them! They are lightweight but very supportive. I am ready to buy another pair.

I will literally be running in Brooks for the rest of my life. I've tried out all of the other brands and in the last 10 years, I keep coming back to Brooks as they are my holy grail. This was my first time trying out the Hyperion line and I LOVED IT. I "broke them in" (we all know Brooks don't need any breaking in), with a 17 mile run this weekend and I felt so supported and speedy! I think these will definitely be my race day shoes for Chicago! I just with they had more color options.

The last time I ran, I'm quite confident something was chasing me. I bought these shoes because I have bone-on-bone arthritis in both big toe joints. These shoes are a game changer. I can walk with absolutely no pain when I wear these due to the stiff rocker bottom. I bought a second pair in a different color because I wear them almost every day. Excellent shoes for my arthritic feet!

So far the best shoes I've owned. They are extremely comfortable shoes. Best running shoes. The fit is amazing.

I love this shoe. I previously wore ghosts before trying other brands. I was looking for a shoe for faster runs and this fits that. Comfortable for mid miles. I've used them on runs 5-7 miles. These are one of my favorites in the rotation.

I was excited to try since I liked the first ones. I love them! These fit better than the first edition. There's just the right amount of stability and comfort. Brooks never lets me down. The Hyperion Max has definitely been added in my rotation for my training.

My goto independent running store ordered these to be shipped directly to me by Brooks. I expect to be buying the Hyperion 2 as well, but first I needed to replace my long run shoes. I was instantly in love with the soft, very breathable upper and its comfort factor. They run true-to-size for me in a W9 and have a Goldilocks toebox fitwide enough to splay my toes (I have medium width feet) but aren't in any way sloppy feeling. The upper disappears on my feet and even though these aren't my lightest shoes they feel light while running. The lace system is outstanding; I haven't had to adjust while on a run at all. I prefer these sawtoothed laces to some of the stretchy laces in past Hyperion line models. They will NOT come undone and the length is just right (again, Goldilocks!). The sidewalls of the midsole are a genius design. While it's not technically a stability shoe, as a neutral runner I still love the way the midsole cradles the foot, yet they are plenty nimble when making turns even at faster paces. Finally, I am not a fan of squashy marshmallowy sink-in midsoles and if you are, Brooks's nitrogen infused midsole is not for you. However, after the initial miles in these the balance of resilience/responsiveness and cushion also felt just right. While intending to run slower paces today on a 16 mi. long run, I was surprised to find my paces were faster than effort was suggesting. There is a distinct roll geometry that will either work for your biomechanics and gaitor not. I haven't always liked that in all my shoes but this one works for me. And to even have a little ground feel (in a good way) in a shoe with this much cushion is great, in my opinion. It's not ground feel in the sense of feeling stones, eg, but rather feeling in touch with the nature of the surface and feeling secure on it. Today's run included a dual surface of asphalt and packed dirt/fine gravel. They were fun on either option. They were very pleasant at easy paces but really sing at marathon and HM pace, so ideal for longer runs with goal marathon pace miles.

At first I didn't know if I would like the amount of cushioning it had but after a few runs these shoes became my favorite!

I've been running in Ghosts or Glycerins for years, but decided I wanted to try a "faster" more responsive shoe. I chose these and WOW I am so glad I did. For the same perceived effort I'm running at least 30 seconds per mile faster. Maybe it's a placebo effect, but I can certainly feel the shoe spring my foot forward with each strike. They have been so helpful with keeping my cadence up and keeping a quick turnover. I was worried that these would be too stiff coming from ghost/glycerin, but I haven't found that to be an issue at all. The shoes do fit differently, but still 100% comfortable. I might still wear ghosts for recovery runs, but I'll be using these for all others.

I'm not a runner but have foot issues; one being Hallux Limitus/Rigidus. With this shoe I can actually go for long walks with no pain in my toe, which is amazing! I even threw in a little jogging and these are awesome!! I put my orthotics in these, otherwise they probably wouldn't work for me. I usually wear a 8.5, but the 9 worked best for me. Love these!!

I've been wearing Brooks for 10 years. These are my favorite Brooks ever. I tried Hoka for speed workouts and just didn't love them. These have that feel, but better.

I liked the feel of these shoes, but unfortunately I over-pronate and so these didn't provide the stability I didn't know I needed. Which is too bad, because I thought this could be a great race shoe for me:( I'm trying the Hyperion GTS next!

I try these on and I absolutely love them, but I wish they had the color black. I check every day to see if they added the color I want because I would buy them in a heartbeat

Turns over well and tow off transitions are smooth at faster paces. The upper is perfect! Love the gusseted tongue. In the next iteration please make the foam more responsive and bouncier.

Great shoe, very comfortable when moving around. At times when I am static standing, I have some aches in my feet. The rocker bottom was a change from other brooks, but overall, very satisfied with this shoe!
