The most comfortable shoes I own. I have flat feet that often hurt, but I have zero pain after walking for miles in these. They're so fantastic that I started using them as my everyday shoes, and I got a second pair in black to be able to wear with work clothes as well. I usually take a 6 wide, but I got a 6.5 regular in these and they fit perfectly. I hope Altra continues to make non-zero drop shoes like this!

These have quickly become my favorite walking shoes--one of the only pairs of shoes I can walk in for miles without pain. They are amazingly comfortable, even for my flat and often achey feet. I am usually a size 6, often take a wide size but in Altras I can do regular width because of the roomy toe box, and in these shoes size 6.5 was perfect. I am so happy that Altra is making these low drop shoes, which for me are much more approachable than zero drop shoes. They aren't the most stylish sneakers EVER but they are cute enough, and they make my feet extremely happy.

These are GREAT! Recommended by the orthopedic staff who diagnosed my "bunionette" on the outer side of my foot and recommended this show with the wide toe box. Sadly, they have been replaced by the Altra Experience Flow 2, which have a different tread pattern that causes the shoe to squeak loudly on bare floors. I'm sad that I can't get another pair of the Original design!

This style was recommended by the orthopedic clinic that diagnosed my bunionette on the outside of one foot. I got them quickly from Zappos (THANKS!), put them on and wore them all day. Comfort: They are super-comfy -- most of the time. Sometimes, like walking a lot in a mall with marble floors, the top of that foot starts to hurt, but they are the most comfortable shoes I've found so far. Comfort 2: I'll be wearing them in a colder & damp climate, and wish there was a leather version that would keep my feet warmer & drier. Style: I wish the soles were black to match the top, so they looked a bit more dressy. I'm wearing them as regular shoes, not for running. Style 2: These are the "originals" and now it's hard to get them. I also ordered a pair of the Experience Flow 2 to get a different color. They fit differently, and I'm not quite sure whether I will keep those. Width: These have the widest toe box I've ever worn. (On sneakers have been my go-to since 2020). The wide toe box really helps.
