My feet are extremely supported while I also feel like Im walking on a cloud. I like the way the heels/ankles are "hugged" while my foot is completely supported. I wish I knew of these sooner.

I am so impressed how comfortable and supportive the sneakers are! I love hiking and these are the perfect choice for it! I could definitely hike for hours! My only concern is the back of the sneakers, if I don't have long socks to protect my heels, they will probably get bruised. Overall, I am pretty satisfied with the sneakers.

I've taken the shoes for walks, and jogs. I am amazed at how comfortable they are it feels ask if I was walking/running on a fluffy cloud. I would buy again and I 100% recommend.

These are the most comfortable shoes ever. I started wearing them on my walks and to the gym and the curve of the sole gives me traction and a glide I didn't know was possible.

Super comfortable without breaking them in! I'm sure they will just get more comfortable with use. These fit perfectly- true to size. I will add that the "black" looks more Navy with the blue underneath And the blue accents. However they still look very nice.

This trail shoe is such a fun ride! Feels like a lighter, faster version of the Olympus with the 4mm drop and rocker shape. I usually like a lower cushion shoe but this was just the right amount of foam without sacrificing being able to feel the trail. Tackled some gravel roads and single track in the first run, and the Wild felt up for anything!

I've worn Hokas for the longest time. I loved the feel of them, but my brother swore by Altras so I figured I'd give them a try. I will say, if you're not used to zero drop shoes it does take a moment to adjust. I've had mine for about a month and I am still adjusting. It's not a negative factor regarding the shoe, but more so a tip that things will feel a bit different in an Altra. With that said, these shoes have provided me with a ton of stability! I do road and trail running and I'd often find myself rolling my ankles in the hokas. So far no instances like that in the Altras. I'm pretty much in love with them, but the tongue design has my ankles pretty torn up. I've been getting blisters and cuts since the tongue is a tough plastic. BUT, don't let that deter you. If you wear some socks that cover your ankles you'll be fine

So this is the Altra shoe I was waiting for, as I can't wear 0 drop for longer runs. It's not great on wet rocks and roots (90% of my trail runs), but give it a vibram sole and it would be perfect.

Overall I love this show! I run a lot of gravel roads and typically use them there. I have worn them on some more technical terrain and think they do well overall, but I feel like the traction isn't great on rocks and the like. I have a pair of Timps also which have the Vibram rubber, and if they would add that to this shoe, a 4mm drop with sticky tractionthey would be perfect!

SO happy Altra is making a 4 mm drop shoe now. We need more manufacturers to start supporting this lower drop range; not many choices currently out there. These Altras are comfortable, true to size, and fairly lightweight. They are a bit chunky in the heel, as most designs are these days. Wish they made the sole a little thinner, and not so much like a Hoka thick sole. Also the heel is a bit wide so I need to wear thicker socks. Could also make the shoe not come up so high in the heel. These are a good start for Altra, hope they can make the width a tick narrower in the front and smaller sole, then these would be perfect.

I have flat fee, bunions, and acessory nevicular. I have custom orthotics made for me. I wear 8s, but when I put orthotics in my running shoes I've always had to go with an 8.5. I was surpirsed that I probably need a 9. They work, I just wished scheels carried them in their stores so I could try on. I've ran many halfs and want run a full someday. Brooks have felt too heavy so I want to New balnce which I really liked I think they were 860s. I went to ascis next gel nimbus really like those but eventually wore hole in toe on top of shoe. I got a pair of hokas ahari, which I love. I got altra's for my bunions wider toe box, but the rest of my foot is narrow. I notice a diffrence in the 0 drop, I really think this is best for my feet. They feel so light and comfortable. I want to get another pair just for walks and school since I am a teacher on my feet all day 15,000-20,000 steps a day on average.

the love child of Altra and Hoka. Cushy and comfy but not blocky and bulky, just the right amount of cush. Grip is good without being grabby. Have not used in mud or wet conditions yet. Wish the sizzing ran the same as the LP 9. Over all really good all around trail shoe.

I ordered 1/2 size up based on reviews. Wish these were available in a wide. I am so close to loving these, if only I had a little more room. Wearing really thin socks helps. Nice for runs that go between trail and paved path and hikes with my dog.

Out of the box they feel great. Normally wear 10.5 got an 11. Slightly tighter in the toe box than my Lone Peaks. Super cushion feeling and thick heel support. Ordered the Taupe. HATE the color. It's purple. The laces are purple!!! The fabric is lavender. It's sooo bad. Shoe looked greyish and laces black online.

Like the 4mm drop and rocking movement. Going between paved path and trail and needed more cusion than my Lone Peak 9's. Wish toe box was a little roomier so sized up 1/2 sz for a little relief.

After dozens & dozens of pairs of Altras (almost every model) I'd had to give them up. My favs were the 1st few iterations of the Timp & most Olympus. I love love the wide foot shape but was developing plantar fasciitis made worse by zero drop. Putting a wedge under heel only partially worked and wore out the upper rear. Thank you for FINALLY introducing a 4mm drop shoe. Lugs provide enough traction on bark, mud, leaves & snow. Love the medium cushion- would love a version with max cushion for all day events. So far with 175 miles on them they've haven't lost their spring or broken down. My only disappointment is that Altra seems to have gotten a wee bit more narrow over time. This shoe is no exception- they loosen up eventually but would like a little more width- I often buy the men's version to solve this and then end up with a sloppier heel. The Flow (road model) seems to have its sizing more to my liking. Someone else mentioned the laces- they do run a bit short. This is a fantastic shoe I've been loving in the mountains and for technical trails. Thanks Altra! Bravo!

Positives- nice wide toe box, comfortable out of the box, good tread lugs, Negatives- too much heel to toe drop, toe box outsole is too wide(catches on rocks etc), better traction with vibram would be nice, the outsole in general is too big- I get it were trying to look like these are hokas!

This is my 9th pair of Altra's. My only complaint with these is the shoe strings are probably 4" shorter than any of my other 8 pairs. You can barely tie it once , let alone double knot it!

A comfortable, light shoe for non-technical terrain! Easy transition between road and trail. I'm used to the Olympus and these do not have the same traction-- if Altra would put Vibram on these... WOW

Loving this pair for day-to-day use, especially as I am on my feet most of the day. I can transition straight to the gym for a long run and it's seamless with these shoes. Love the zero drop and may never run in another brand ever again. I would definitely suggest sizing up a half to a whole size if buying for a running shoe. Great tread for outdoors, so i can't wait to get them out on the trail. Wish i had bought the orange pair too!

I love these shoes. They were comfortable for my Spartan Ultra. I bought the Experience Flow to train in and these were perfect to jump into without having to break them in. However, a few big disappointments is after one race of 31 miles and only having the shoes for less than 2 weeks I have already worn a hole in the back of the fabric and there wasn't enough rubber along the front to keep from getting cactus in my feet. The protection for the sides and the toes were a little disappointing for being a trail shoe. I would definitely in the future buy the stone guard inserts as you can feel the rocks significantly. Overall the rest of the shoe was comfortable and comparable to the regular running shoe I wear.

I love these walking shoes. True to size fit and very good material. I used them to walk 3 miles and my feet did not hurt. Gave the best knee and leg support. I would love to get a different color like black or white.
