Good shoes - Just got the shoes so I'm still breaking them in, but they feel great and they look fantastic.

Great Boot- Boot has a great look. A little lacking on the comfort inside the boot. I wish Doc's came in half sizes. But all in all, I couldn't be happier. The next pair of shoes I get will be these.

Docs - Great boots---my 5th pair... Take a *long* time to break-in, but feel like a pair of Nike’s afterwards... the other bonus of that is that they *last* a long time as well... The UK sizing will mess you up if you aren’t careful... 4 *'s for comfort due to extended break-in 5 *'s for looks--- if you buy Docs, you probably know what they look like... perhaps not for everyone...

Still hot after all these years - These are classic boots no matter what series you choose. I bought the white one's because they will stand out under anything I wear. Well made, rich look, hard to break in but worth the wait. And I love Zappos because I can try them on and send them back if they don't fit right. Thanks Zappos!

Stiff at first- My husband wears these boots to work every day. This is his third pair. His previous Black pair lasted two years. That’s really good for work boots. They are very stiff at first. Wear then a little bit at a time and he says they almost mold to your feet. He loves them and I love buying them on line. No tax no shipping and no going to the mall...

Great Color Shoes- I really love the color of these shoes. They need a bit of breaking in but otherwise are quite comfortable with thick socks, which is what I wanted. I just haven't found out how to lace them right, but I'm working on it.

Finally Replacing - I bought the 1560's over 2 years ago. While they are still intact and I could probably get another 2 years out of them, it's time for a change (and I will be ordering from Zappos again). I bought them for riding my motorcycle, but they turned into my work shoes as well. They have upheld through the roughest riding conditions and still looked great with dress slacks. Be prepared to break them in...

Doc Martens 8 hole - Rec'd quickly and well packed (as always) from Zappos. Doc Martens have been my son's favorite boots for some time and these were a holiday gift. He's worn them continually since opening and says they're comfortable and warm. Four out of four stars.

Still great after all these years - The red is actually more of a dark oxblood color than the picture shows - really beautiful! I hadn't had Docs since college in the 90s and, boy, I didn't realize what I was missing! So comfortable and still stylish. The red is a nice, funky choice. Zappos rocks!! Great service, etc.

Docs rock - I love the boot. I've wanted to own a pair for ages and they are living up to what I had expected! I just want to warn you breaking them in can be rough so make sure you buy thick comfy socks.

Cherry Boot - I've had these for awhile, and every time I wear them I get compliments. The color is unique and the boots are well made and very comfortable. It does however take awhile to break them in, as the smooth leather is stiffer than some of the other leathers used in this boot style.

My third pair of the same boots- I buy these exact same boots every 3 years or so; then wear them into the ground. Zappos was fast, and efficient.

My second pair of the 1460 boot. The first pair I owned was made with the soft leather and didn't last as long as I had hoped. So, I decided to get the cherry smooth leather. The break-in does take a while. However, they are just as comfortable as their soft leather counterpart once broken-in. The smooth leather takes punishment and hides wear and tear very well. A good, durable boot!

"If I Can Make It Here, I Can Make It Anywhere..." After living the concrete jungle of NYC for 15 years, only ONE shoe has taken the beating and survived the constant pounding of a sidewalk; Doc Martens. Work boots, maybe. This is the only shoe that can last WITH a classic style.

Love these boots! This is the 3rd pair of boots I have bought for my son - he won't wear anything else. Loves them!

Great for a wedding- I ordered the Docs in white for myself and the patent leather for the rest of the bridal party. I just got them and they look great. I have been wearing Docs since high school and they are just the most comfortable boots ever, that and they are fun!

Good fit- The Docs are true to size, but, as with any new boot, they are tough to break in - be prepared for some blistering! The color is more of a burgundy/cherry red. Because I am on my feet all day, I need extra help: i.e. gel soles, arch supports, etc. So, the perfect fit is a product of a marriage between Doc Martens and Dr. Scholl. Overall, they are just what you expect from Doc Martens: reliable.

Dr Martens Dr Martens Dr Martens boots! I got these for vespa riding and they're perfect for the job! Comfy, durable, AND they go with most everything, I intend on buying another pair in 10 years (or so) because that's about how long they'll last! Hurrah!

Great boots!!! I got these in white and found them very comfortable and wearable. They looked great and did not scuff easily and cleaned up easily when dirty. I would buy them again. Run true to size.

Just What I Needed! I have MS (multiple sclerosis) and wear a full leg brace. Doc Martens are the only brand of boots that my brace will fit inside of, but are still very stylish. They come in many colors (I have 9 pair!), are durable, and well worth the price. Thank God for Doc Marten!!

Hoppin Martens's - I bought my first pair of these Dr. Martens's over a decade ago while living in Atlanta and wore them daily until the leather feel off.. Recently, I decided I'd like to have another pair -so I searched the net and found the same Dr. Martens's at Zappos which I had worn 10+ years earlier -I quickly placed my order. The boots showed up on my front doorsteep 2-3 days later -quicker than noted on the Zappos site and I LOVE THEM -they fit perfectly, and LOOK GREAT! -just like the orginals did over a dedcade ago.. I consider the boot and buying experinece with Zappos two thumbs up.

It's no longer made in the UK, GET OVER IT!!! I had given up on boots due to a pair of Skechers that I bought about 3 years ago which did quite a number on my knees. However, these boots have not hurt my knees, but boy do they take time to break in. Get ready for some pain if you're like me you like to break them in the hard way, which means wearing them every day. After 3 weeks they feel just fine, but initially it can be painful. As for the service Zappos provided, I can only tell you that it is unparalleled. The service is excellent and the boots are just fine even if they are now along with 95-99% of the objects we buy made in Asia.
