Purchased this shoe about four months ago and it's hardly been worn still looks brand new. I sent to do a return about three weeks ago or may be longer and have never heard anything back for the price of these shoes. They should be lasting longer.

The foam wore off in a few months months and they won't warranty. "This is normal wear and tear" apparently.

While comfortable, this shoe lacks any rubber on the sole which is an issue for grip/durability and they seem cheaply made. I have owned all three previous models and this is not an improvement on any of them. Whatever foam they use, in lieu of rubber, is not durable, wears quickly and picks up little sharp stones.

I have used Hokas as my "daily wear" shoe for years, and consistently get a full year of wear out of them. Not this time!! Just over a month of wear, at a job where I'm sitting or teaching most of the time (Garmin tells me I average 2 miles a day), and the tread has significant wear and the backs are ripping. Very dissatisfied with this shoe.

I love hoka shoes and purchase a new pair every 3 months. These are by far the worst Hoka's I've had. After 150 miles on these the sole is completely worn out. Ive owned a few pairs of the previous iteration, hoka rincon 3's, and loved them. The rincon 3's lasted me a little over 300miles each before I replaced them and with the exception of the sole wear you couldn't tell i'd put them through that. These rincon 4 however are junk. They are lacking the durable rubber lugs the rincon 3s had and the sole wears away with every footstep. The cushioning and support is still there however after 150 miles the sole of the shoe is completely worn bald and looks like a ski. Any uneven terrain or wet surfaces can be a real problem now and I spend more time looking at where I'm placing my feet than actual running. Hoka go back to your previous design and don't mess with something that isn't broken.

I'm writing to share my concern regarding a recent purchase of the Hoka Rincon 4 shoes, which I bought on July 26, 2025, for my 16-year-old son.
He's been using them for light daily walkingapproximately 2 miles per dayand as of today, August 26, 2025, the wear on the soles is surprisingly excessive. The tread is barely noticeable, which is quite unexpected given that the shoes have only seen around 60 miles of use. We chose Hoka for its reputation for quality and durability, so this level of wear is disappointing.
I would appreciate it if you could advise on whether this level of wear is typical for the Rincon 4 model, and if not, what steps we might take to resolve the issue. I'm happy to provide photos or any additional information you may need.
Thank you for your time and attentionI look forward to hearing from you.

I wore these shoes 4 times and they developed a large hole on the top portion of the shoe.

I found the Rincon 3 at an Ironman event in June of 22 and have been running in them as daily trainers, in marathons and in Ironman events. They were the best running shoes on the market. The Rincon 4 is garbage. It's not a redesign, it's a completely different shoe. The sad thing is, there isn't another Hoka that fits or feels like the Rincon 3.

It's just because I'm used to more support around the heel but I returned these because my heel was practically falling out of it when running.

Nice looking shoe. The shoe was uncomfortable. It didn't have much cushion like the Bondi 9.

We have been loyal Hoka customers for years now, but the rincon 4s are complete garbage. Both myself and husband hate them and they hurt our feet. Why change what was good? Go back to the 3s as there was nothing wrong with those. The 4s have completely missed the mark and it is extremely disappointing.

Ever since I found the rincon line of shoes years ago I've been running in them. Newest version seems like a completely different show. Will be looking for a new brand.

This pair of shoes arrived with no insole in the right shoe. Literally, no insole. It is unwearable as is. Very cheaply made and delivered in an unusable condition. I will never order HOKA shoes again.

The new HOKA model is a significant visual upgrade over the Rincon 3s, with a sleeker design, lighter feel, and sturdier upper near the tongue. However, it falls short where it matters mostcomfort. The narrower fit causes discomfort for those with wide feet, and the firmer foam reduces the cushioning that made the Rincon 3s so enjoyable. As a loyal fan of the brand, I'm disappointed to see such a step back in comfort.
