These shoes are like walking in clouds. They are so comfortable! I feel like they give a lot of cushion. My feet are so comfortable during my runs. Like I said I really enjoy the cushion and spring like feeling when running. I dont have many complaints. The style is slight boring so I look forward to seeing some more fun designs.

I am digging my new Brooks - the look and design is great for training, errands, and on the go. Unfortunately, they run a bit narrow; I have narrow feet and they feel a little snug. The feel around the ankles is soft and smooth, which is great for shorter socks to avoid rubbing. All in all, I love the cushion and versatility, but they need a bit more room.

These shoes are good for people who like their shoes to be really tight and not allow any movement of your foot within the shoe. Unfortunately, they're not for me, as I guess I would describe it as my feet feeling claustrophobic in these shoes, if that makes sense. They are snug and secure. There's no wiggle room and when I put the shoes on, they pulled my socks in tighter around my foot which is uncomfy to me. I really like the idea of the GoreTex water protection included in the shoes design, but I haven't had an opportunity to test them in the rain yet.

Lifetime runner here, I do a good mix of road work and trail work every week. I have flat arch and over pronate a good deal. These shoes were great for that combo. The toe bed is nice and wide without being too roomy. There was plenty of support and the overall shoe is very sturdy without being clunky or heavy. I will definitely be running in this regularly, I had no problems and no pains. The shoe also has a great look, I have the all black and love it.

These are truly my favorite running shoes of the moment. I have 13 mile trail in my subdivision that I like to frequent and these shoes have been like a cloud under my foot. They support my arch perfectly and theyre also very breathable, which is great because Texas is very hot. The shoe is very lightweight and has a thick sole, which has been great preventing me from slipping in the rocky areas. The most interesting thing about these shoes is that they are nitrogen injected, which is something I havent experienced in the shoes that I have worn previously.

I am absolutely loving these Ghost 16 GTX. They are my new go to sneaker. I often walk and run on my neighborhood street and these sneakers can handle it. They cushion against the hard road with ease leaving me no pain after. I love that they are true to size and fit perfectly. I didn't have to break them in they just worked great right from the start. I can be pretty picky with what sneakers I use especially if it's something I am using to walk or run or wear for long hours and I must say these are great for wearing for a long time. They are so comfortable and lightweight I actually forget I am wearing them. They are breathable so they don't make my feet sweat. Overall I love them! I have to say I highly recommend these they are very high quality and made to last!

The Ghost 16 GTX is now my favorite shoe. When I tried them on, I could tell they were different from any other Ghost shoe. There's a lot of versatility in the Ghost GTX 16. My training is both indoors and outdoors, depending on the weather. There's a lot of rocky terrain on my property, like a trail run. The DNA Loft Insole provides much more cushioned support in the arch. I'd call it medium plush. As soon as I hit the ground, the foam cushion stabilized my foot without any unbalanced or heavy feel. Size-wise, I do think its almost true to size but feels a little short. At first, I thought the shoe was too small because I felt that my toes were hitting the front of the toe box. As I broke them in, I think the shoe gave a little, and now I don't feel that it's too short. I have made quick lateral movements in the shoe, and my toes did not feel squished. The Gore-Tex makes this shoe even better. The breathability and moisture-wicking performance are good. I've run on grass in the morning when it's wet because of the humidity. My shoe stayed dry, and so did my socks. Overall, I think this is a great line for Brooks. They might have to consider reevaluating the length of the shoe. Suitable for everyday wear, walking, cross-training, and use on light terrain, the Ghost GTX is a versatile shoe.

The Brooks Ghost 16 GTX shoe may just be one of my favorite Brooks shoes ever! This shoe has a neutral foundation, allowing your foot to roll as naturally as possible when running. I appreciate this so much as I have long wide feet and a pretty neutral stride. My ankles do not feel like they are being pulled or pushed in any direction in these shoes. There is plenty of space in the toe box for wide feet without the shoe itself being bulky. The shoe is actually very light and for being an all black shoe did not heat up my feet. My only concern is how long the soles are going to last as they feel like a softer foam. Nonetheless, every time I wear these shoes I enjoy the experience. They are definitely one of my new go-to shoes!

Fit still seems to be different then previous Ghost shoes. Otherwise it seems alright for the first few walks/runs.

It really squishes your toes -- and I love Brooks -- but maybe not this particular line.

They are made too short I always wear a 71/2 My toe is almost on the very end All the sneakers I've bought this year have been the same. With exception of the Glycerin stealth fit. They were accurate sizing it's very disappointing!. Glycerin 20 was the best.! Too bad you stopped making them Whoever is making your sneakers is making them too short.

These shoes are alright. I like my Hoka shoes way better. What I do like about Brooks Ghost 16 GTX are water resistant. The price I payed these shoes should feel more comfortable but they are not. I do a lot of walking around at my job and might have to run sometimes. So I need very comfortable shoes.

I have always like my Brooks. I've always stayed with the "Ghosts". These were the first ones that I haven't liked. They were really uncomfortable, especially over the top of the toes. I should have read the reviews, since several people had commented that same thing. I just wish the colors that were available were better. I just can't stand light colored shoes. It would drive my OCD crazy. While the return process is easy don't expect it quickly. I sent the shoes back on 3/31/25 and I'm still waiting for confirmation and next steps in the "return process.

The Ghost 16 GTX does not have the glide roll rocker as described. I have the Ghost Max which does. I was hoping to get waterproof version. Also, heel drop on GTX is 12mm vs Max at 6mm. Big difference, too much pressure on ball of foot.

I have owned at least 10 pair of ghosts, this is my first time buying the Gore-Tex version. For some reason, they fit more snug and seem a little small on me. No idea why that would be, the same size I've been ordering for years. A little bit frustrated about it.

Sad I can't keep these. I have been searching for a waterproof pair of shoes and was hoping these would fit. I LOVE brooks and wear almost solely, unfortunately these ran at least a size small

I was prepared to love these as I have all of my other generations of Brooks Ghost shoes, but the toe box was narrow and the fit was super tight. I thought they would stretch with time and wear, but instead I ended up with a stress fracture in my foot. A disappointing and painful experience all around.

Narrow! I have worn a true size 9 for the past 20+ years. Sometimes even an 8.5. I was so excited to get these for work, as I'm on my feet over 12 hours, but they did not fit the Tox box was especially tight. I called Brooks and they were really helpful. I ended up ordering the regular Ghost 16s. But in a 9W. The associate told me these are commonly returned for being too narrow. I also spoke with one of my friends who has a couple pairs of Brooks and she told me to always order the wide. When I went to re-order the shoe it was out of stock so I just ended up sending it back. I also was hoping that it would fit because the GTX has waterproof material. I'm really hoping the Ghost 16s work out.

Girl, size up. Get a half size up. I don't normally buy a wide but I wish they had a wide in this style. it's really cute. the footbed and laces felt good. but WOW it was too tight to be comfortable. Returning them ASAP to find a different style.

My feet are basically the same-not one bigger than the other but for some reason the right shoe is soooooo tight. I hav me been wearing these around the house trying different ways to tie, etc but I can’t deal with it. So sad.

These fit totally differently than the other ghost versions. They are very snug and not very comfortable even though I ordered the same size I have ordered for years. I thought they just needed some breaking in, but the more I wear them the more I dislike them. I should have just returned them immediately. The one positive is that my feet have stayed drybut I won't be wearing them anymore. Very expensive mistake.

These run small. I usually wear an 8.5 in Brooks, but had not tried this model before. My toes are hitting the end of the shoe. I also don't love the color. I expected these to be a little more black, but their a light black that fade into dark grey.

I wore last year's version of these for just under a year. To be comfortable, I had to not lace them to the top hole. They call them waterproof, but as with every other waterproof shoe I've had it lasts only briefly. For these, it was less than 2 months. Just short of a year, the soles came loose from the uppers. I am not a runner. Although I am active, these shoes were just worn for my everyday outside life. Other similar shoes have made it through 2 or 3 years before coming apart. These were a huge disappointment.
