I love the color of the sneaker but color is not the most important feature of the sneaker. I loved the ghost max. I walk 4-7 miles per day on pavement and the ghost max was very comfortable sneaker. The Ghost max 2 provides to much cushion and hurts my knees and calf. I wish the company would bring back the ghost max I say if its' not broken don't fix it. Oh well

I have wider feet and a bunion on my left foot that is typically not painful unless I do Lu fed or wear very ill-fitting shoes. I typically wear ghosts in wide, but have worn them in the standard medium width, as well as the revel in medium width with no issue. I ordered these in a medium width because the colors available for the wide are very blah (as is usually the case which is a big pet peeve of mine, as well). I wore these for ONE day and my bunion started hurting so badly I could hardly walk for about a week, 2 weeks later and it is still very painful. I returned them today.

I bought these for a walking shoe with more support. I used to wear Ghost 15 when I started running, then Launch 10 and 9, now Hyperion 2 - just for reference. These are my first exclusively for walking shoes from Brooks. I don't like them. My feet are constantly losing feeling and the toe box is too tight and cramped even half a size up (like I do with all my Brooks). While walking, dirt somehow kicks up and gets on your ankles unlike any other shoe I've worn. Additionally, I have pretty big feet and these just make them look enormous. I just really do not find these comfortable and would not recommend them. I would purchase a Ghost 16 for a walking shoe in the future.

I loved the GM 1 however the GM 2 is not as comfortable and really hurts my feet while running. The shoe pushes up against the back and side of my heel causing immense heel pain. Also, I have out of nowhere extreme Achilles pain. My OMD who has many runners as patients kept telling me "It's the shoes" when I asked where all this new pain was coming from? I have worn Brooks for about ten years now and for the first time EVER I have had to switch brands to your competitor(begins with H) IMO Brooks, I don't know what's going on within your co. but the best advice I can give is to seriously clean house. It feels like you have people designing running shoes that do not run and have no idea what they are doing. You used to have such a positive reputation in the running community and now all I do is meet people who have dumped your brand out of frustration. Get back to basics of what made Brooks the great brand it WAS, and your loyal customers such as myself will come back.

Not enough arch support so I had to send them back. But I did like the color!

This is my 2nd pair of ghost max 2 in 6 months. I work as a nurse and am on my feet for 12+ hours. While this pair is comfortable, they are not as comfortable as the last pair I had. Perhaps it is a slight manufacturing difference, as the color that I previously had is not longer available (citadel/coconut/biscuit). My feet start to hurt toward the end of my shift, whereas the last pair i had was comfortable for 12+ hours. I wish that there was more consistency, as this is not the first time I have had this issue with Brooks. I've noticed a decrease in comfort level of the Brooks Ghost, as each new generation rolls out.

I have been a ghost girl for the last 2 1/2 years. Within that time I've bought 4 pairs of ghost and thought to buy the ghost max due to running so much. My husband has a pair and loves them so I thought why not. I love the color of the shoes and how they feel on my feet when I walk but when I run which I tend to run at least 5 miles my feet, shins and ankles hurt so much after I run. I've only had these since the end of January and can't get through a mile without walking or stretching my ankles. I'm very sad and wanted so badly for these to work out. I will be returning these and going back to the ghost 16.

I've been a ghost girl for years. Runner and hairstylist. I liked the look of these and being 20 weeks pregnant I was looking for some extra cushion. I thought I'd give these a try to work and run errands in but unfortunately they did not work for me. After several tries it was clear they made my feet and legs hurt every time.

The colors are cute. I was thinking that with the extra thickness in the heel it would be more comfortable. I haven't had any relief from heel pain since getting them. I usually get the regular ghost but the show finder suggested the max. I am disappointed.

I bought these after never having nice shoes looking for a comfortable walking/jogging shoe. at first I thought they were amazing and I had never worn a shoe like it. well it's been some time now and I can't seem to figure out why my legs are so sore after wearing for long walks. my legs shake like I did a leg workout after an hour stroll. not even a jog or anything crazy. my calves so sore. I have pretty normal feet and have never had this issue. If anyone can shed some light on why i'm experiencing this I'd love to know. Im past my return/exchange date. I called fleet feet and asked them why and they said I just had to get used to them so I kept the shoe after my return cut off. I'm sort of regretting that

I returned these as I couldn't make this shoe work. It wasn't soft enough for my heel issues and there was a weird bump on the right shoe, right side of the collar around the top of my ankle bone that rubbed and irritated that area. The shoe may not have been deep enough for my orthotic causing that issue.

The original ghost max were so much better! These aren't as wide as the ghost max even in the wide width option. I gave them my best shot but after 2 wears I gave them to my sister. Toe box is not as wide as original ghost max and they hurt my feet.

Not like the original ghost max. It feels unstable to me and it's definitely narrower and really narrow in the toe box. I feel like I'm standing on a foam stack and could fall over at any time. I use custom orthotics but the ghost max was supposed to replace the Dyad, which was Brooks' go to shoe for orthotic users. This is not a replacement for that. That shoe was great, just needed more cushioning. Now there are no sneakers available to orthotic users except the Echelon by Saucony. Great if you have really full feet, but I don't. Not every shoe buyer is 30 and runs. A lot of us just need to walk every day in comfort. Guess that's too much to ask. Also, hate the weird shaped tongue. The tongue is supposed to protect your foot from the shoe. This is too narrow to provide padding over the side of your foot and reduces the ability of the shoe to fit properly, unless you have that "perfect" foot. Everyone is desperately trying to imitate Hoka. Not everyone can wear or likes Hoka. Diasappointed. And waiting for a good replacement for the Dyad!! I'm not the only one!

Brooks, why do you keep messing with a good thing?! Do you listen to your loyal customers? I bought several pairs of Ghost Max last year because they were the most comfortable shoes I've worn yet. Wide enough, cushioning was enough but didn't feel like walking in sand, toe box was high and wide, not too stiff for my arthritic feet, made my replaced knees feel good, etc. Then I bought Ghost Max 2..seemed shorter and smaller in the toe box. Felt very stiff. Had heel slippage like crazy.to the point that my low socks were pulled into the shoe. Bought a half size bigger. Same thing. Seemed very different than my original Ghost Max. I wanted to like them but the heel slippage alone was too much. Please stop changing your shoes each year, other than colors! It aggravates your customers! If you google "heel slippage" in Ghost Max 2, you'll find lots of unhappy people.

I've worn Ghost style for about 7 to 8 years. I'm not exactly what year(maybe the 12s, 13s) that I feel like something changed. The last couple pairs were not comfortable and they don't seem to hold up as well as they used to. I do wear a wide, so the color options are less than few(that's always disappointing). The only reason I tried the Max2 was because I thought it might feel like the older original Ghost. The Max2 doesn't feel any better than the Ghost that have been changed. They're not comfortable at all. They feel like boards. The original old Ghost used to feel so comfortable. What happened? Go back to the way they were! And more color options for wide-please! I'm not trying to be ugly just being honest. I miss my old Ghost.

These shoes hurt my feet! They've always been comfortable before. I'm beginning to wonder if they are not sized correctly.

I am so disappointed. I power wal 4 miles per day. The first two weeks of walking in my GM2's were wonderful. But, going into the third week my right foot began hurting where my toes meet my foot after walking apx 2-2 1/2 miles. Painful! I thought it was me. It was not today I tried my old Ghost's and I did NOT have that problem at all. Am so disappointed with my GM2's it is indescribable. Sincerely, Colleen B. Ghost Max 2 disappointed buyer

Was very excited to try these as I loved the original Ghost Max ,you added colors to the wide width so I didn't have to chose from only white or black To my disappointment they are much more snug across the toe box, my big toe was numb after wearing, I even tried a men's wide to see if that helped and the same problem persists They are comfortable for my plantar fasciitis so I guess I'll try the extra wide but super disappointed I have to get black or white

Not sure they're for me. The curved sole has me off balance at times. I admit the interior is very comfy, I have plantar fasciitis and don't need insoles with these. They are ugly! Jury still out.

I loved the cushioning and was hoping that since the ghost 16 changed too much from the ghost 15 to be a good fit for me anymore, that this was going to be my new go to shoe. I wore them once to the gym and my body/my feet just didn't feel good about them. I couldn't identify anything specific but it definitely was not the right shoe for me. I have a high arch and wear a wide width if that helps. I had to return and I've tried all the other versions of wide width sneakers so I'm still on the hunt for an alternate. Please reissue the ghost 15 as it was

I don't know if my shoes were made poorly but one shoe was hitting the top of my foot in a way that made it super sore. I tried multiple ways tying it. The other shoe was super comfy. I'm really curious if it was just a malfunction or fabrication error. I wore them all weekend bartending a music festival and it hit that spot so badly I'm still hurting in all of my shoes.

Ultimately returned them. The sole/heel looks and is incredibly bulky. Decided to go back to my regular Ghost. I already have big feet, I didn't need help making them look bigger. Kind of reminded of "grandma shoes."
