Love the support and balance and comfort of this shoe!! I want to order more, but can't find colors that I'm excited about. I saw the black and purple in another style- was hoping you had updated this style as well. The guardrails are a game changer. I'm a teacher on my feet all day and was considering quitting because of the pain in my feet- until I got this shoe (gray and purple was the best color offered but not what I was really looking for). I am in love w the shoes- just not the colors. Would be buying more right now except I really really want better color choices. Help!

Love these. I have bunions and plantar fasciitis and they don't hurt in these shoes!

The comfort and support are on point. I took my new pair for a long day of walking at Disneyland and for once my feet were not so tired or in pain. I walk 6 miles almost every day and the comfort and support on these shoes are amazing. The size was a bit small. I use 6 and bought 6 1/2 for a bit of space but felt small. So I exchanged for a 7 and it fit perfect.

Comfortable shoes with great fit. However, the soles of the shoes make noise on hard surfaces and shoe laces are too short.

These shoes are BLUE, not a shade of black as they are shown in the pictures. I'm incredibly disappointed. I needed these shoes for a trip that I'm leaving for tomorrow! I love my current Brooks but they are too big on me now. I'm seeing a lot of negative reviews about quality going down and I hope that it can be resolved. If there are any BLACK shoes that are good for stability, I'd consider trying them out.

FINALLY found a pair that relieves my footpain!! With the suggestion from my PT we went through different pairs and THIS one really made my feet/legs feel light and lessened pain. Makes my gait more balanced and able to stand at work long without flaming up my plantar fascitis. Straightening up my hip problem as well. I am very impressed with this pair. Looking tonget another to keep!!

Very different from the 23. These feel heavier and much stiffer (so much so that makes foot angry) and I am not liking these at all yet loved the 23s. Hope the 25s are better or I will have to find a different shoe.

These were so disappointing, I compared this style with the what I normally wear, the Adrenaline GTX.

I have been wearing Brooks Ariel for the past 12 years, while the new versions take getting use to, sizes also change, these are still the best on the market for stability.

Best shoes ever! I look forward to a new pair every year! They are great for my wide feet and help with plantar fasciitis pain. Wish there were more color choices.

I have a drop foot and wear a dynamic brace to walk properly.
I already have a wide foot and the extra wide is enough for both my foot and brace. My other foot doesn’t feel uncomfortable either. It’s a very nice fit.

I love this shoe. It's good cushion with great stability. More stable than the Adrenaline GTS 25. And, my feet are not sore after walking long distances, as with the Adrenakine GTS 22. The only fault is when I'm seated, it feels a bit stiff round the ankle; it can use more cushion there. But, other than that, these shoes are excellent and look good on my feet. :-)

I've only had my Ariel GTS 24 shoes for about 3 weeks. After several years, I switched from Addiction GTS because my legs were hurting after about a month so decided I needed a change. These are fine so far.

I have been running in Brooks Ariels for almost 20 years. I pronate and have had plantar fasciitis several times from not wearing appropriately supportive shoes. These are the only shoes I have used that work. They're not the floatiest of shoes, but that's a fair trade off to avoid injury.

I've been wearing Adrenaline shoes for years, because I thought that was the maximum support I could get in a Brooks shoe. I have very flat feet, and also tend to over-pronate as I walk. Make no mistake, the Adrenaline is great, but for me personally, the Ariel is even better. I could feel the difference in the wider base, extra support, and increased stability as soon as I put the Ariel on. these really do help me feel more stable as I stand, walk, and run, while still offering a great combination of secure fit that doesn't pinch. I do notice that these are just a little heavier than the Adrenaline, but that's okay. That tiny bit of heaviness is a small price to pay for the increased stability and support. If you love Adrenaline shoes but need that bit of extra support, (especially if you have flat feet and/or over-pronate), I very highly recommend these!

First, I am not a runner because I have arthritis in a hip. I do walk at least 2 miles outside. I was wearing another brand of shoe that was "cushy" but did not keep my foot from turning inward when I walked. The minute I put on these shoes, my gait changed and my feet and hips felt so supported. Please keep making these with the same support and in more colors!!

I would have loved to wear the Ariel GTD 24 but I found the toe box too narrow and I could not tolerate that. Tried for a long time. Everything else was great so this was a disappointment. Luckily I was able to order the Brooks Beast and after a few tries I settled on a size that works for me. The cushioning and support is just great and I have severe pronation in one foot. I have never wanted to wear a men's shoe but in this case it worked out very well. If changes are made to the toe box in the Ariel I will try those again.

My podiatrist recommended brooks for support and stability. The inserts and sole really give me the support I need. I originally ordered a medium but, was surprised how narrow they were. I think it was in part to the curvature of the insert. I reordered them in wide and they worked perfectly. I like the sleek look of the shoe. I would recommend them to anyone needing more stability in a shoe.
