If Good support and cushioning on your feet are important to you, then this just might be the shoe for you. Feels great all day long after being up and around all day long. Also love the new colors.

These shoes are always a solid choice and loved the gray/purple color combo.

These shoes are decidedly not black-- more charcoal. The Ariel is intended to be similar to Addiction, which is never in stock in black. I guess this one isn't either. Also, like most of the shoes I have purchased by Brooks, the shoelaces are really short. So far this seems like a good stability shoe. I have put about 100 miles of walking and jogging, worn it to office work, and done strength training in this shoe without aggravating my IT Band, so that is good. I STILL WANT A BLACK AND WHITE SHOE.

I love the Ariel GTS 24 colors and design. I have problems with my arch and the Ariel GTS provides the needed support so I can run pain free.

We have purchased these for our daughter the past 3 years. Each pair of Ariels have provided her with just the right support for her specific needs. Their quality is phenomenal, and we would highly recommend them to others!

This is the most supportive and best fitting shoe I have ever owned. I am 80 and don't run much but the stability this shoe adds to my walk is fantastic! I have a high arch and an unstable right ankle but these shoes support my arch and add unbelievable stability to my walk. Thank you Brooks.

I have been struggling with very high arches, plantar fasciitis, and heel spurs. A foot doctor said I needed to try this shoe, because the sole is very sturdy. He also suggested the wide shoe, which this one has an option for very wide. It is the best my feet have ever felt. VERY supported. my ONLY complaint, and reason I left off one star is really the color choices. I picked black, because it goes with many things, but I teach PE, and would LOVE to see more BOLD color options (not pale/pastel/ or pinks). But I will be purchasing more in the future, because this pair helps my feet feel better.

The Ariel GTS 24 runs narrow compared to other Brooks. The shoe laces are way too short (sounds silly, right)? But I could barely tie them. I reached out via chat and they recommended a wide, so I purchased a pair. They felt better width wise but it didn't help the issue with the shoe laces being too short. The shoes felt good support and just enough cushion to them. For me they just didn't make my fave list so I did return them. They really need to put longer laces on them...or offer longer ones that would match the shoes felt.

They look nice but these are uncomfortable and they squeak when you walk

I have been wearing Ariel for over 20 years and yes they have changed over the years. I still find them to be very comfortable even with the changes. I use them for walking and everyday wear because of plantar fasciitis.

I have been wearing Brooks Ariel for the past 12 years, while the new versions take getting use to, sizes also change, these are still the best on the market for stability.

Very comfortable and attractive! They do run small and narrow. I ended up needing one half size longer and one size wider to fit my foot (Ive never bought a wide shoe before). But now that I have the proper size they are wonderful!

Recommended for me to wear with my orthotics. Great shoe. Much more stability than I had previously. Only negative is please, please, please offer it in more colors. Ghosts are incredibly colorful. These are not. The gray and lavender look dirty all the time.

The main reason I returned these shoes were because they were short & became uncomfortable when running. I purchased the same size I typically wear in Brooks, sizing up one. I would have ordered another size but felt it may have been too large all around. While the toe box was comfortable, I would have liked a little more stretch all around it. If the toe was somewhat rounder it may have been more comfortable. I could walk for a short distance, but wasn't able to brisk walk or run for several miles as I have in other styles. I also wish it would have had a heel pull, which I've come to appreciate for ease w thick socks.

This is my second pair - best runners I have ever had!
